Hiro sensed a tinge of regret. Maybe he shouldn't have acted so weird by watching this guys friends. Maybe they were a genin team. That seemed the most likely. Hiro felt uneasy. He couldn't watch this man's eyes from underneath the glasses. He had no way of telling his motives from his eye movements. He felt his palms begin to tingle, as if something was about to happen. He scrapped the feeling and asked again, "Have you seen me? I don't know why I am here.. I think I am suffering some kind of memory loss." Hiro looked down. He felt foolish. He didn't know why he was here, and now he was asking some random guy questions. Hiro turned his head down towards the boy that had walked up next to Dash. Hiro's eyes narrowed in confusion, and he leaned in closer to Raine, "You.. Know me? From where? Who are you?" He stopped himself from asking more questions. He was feeling more and more uneasy with each passing moment.

Xenon and Kimiko approached behind their Sensei and teammate, neither speaking as they came to stand beside them. Kimiko wasn't at all in a battle ready mood, but as her eyes caught sight of Maboroshi's hand, she noticed that while one was in his pocket, the other was out and twitching it's fingers slightly. This might have seemed harmless to the average person, but Kimiko recognized the motion from the missions they'd been on together. Her rival was getting ready to bring out the Senbon he no doubt had up his sleeve. She looked at the stranger...he didn't seem all that dangerous... in fact he looked more scared to her...


Xenon watched the boy with an unreadable expression, but that in itself spoke volumes for his mind set. He was normally either comfortably mellow, or politely suave, when talking to people who's opinions actually mattered. He only fell into more hawk like gazes when he felt he might need to take action. It was true this boy seemed like he meant no harm, but he was not a civilian. that at least seemed apparent to him, an instinct perhaps, but he tended to trust such things. Still he kept silent, deciding not to speak until he understood the situation more...

Raine searched his mind hard. He knew this face, he knew from the the sickening thought of the greatest agony he had ever felt that this guy was from the day Hatchi had died. Yet still he struggled grasping with his memory. Little did he know that the Takikage herself had cast his mind into a powerful genjutsu that had caused the boy along with his anbu companion to loose all their memory of the event.

Yet here he stood, Dash now stepping back, feeling safer that this guy wasn't just some crack pot.

Raine pushed forward. "I was in.... Taki?" he said questioning the statement. Was he in Taki when he had meant this boy he certainly couldn't remember his name, but his smiling face flashed in his mind. The picture of this armor standing over him as Raine struggled to keep conscious on the ground. "Well... I'm sure I know you. I- I don't know your name though." Raine shrugged, his head shaking.

Instantly Dash was on full alert. A Taki citizen, how could he dare trying to come in oto now. He knew not to trust kind faces, however lost this boy seemed.

Raine started up at Dash, giving a scrunched face. "What, are you doing?" He stepped between his sensei and the boy he could not quite place. "I'm pretty sure this guy saved my life."

Kimiko seemed relieved "Oh! So he's a good guy then!" she started to step forward but Maboroshi interceded, stepping in front of her while still facing the stranger.

Xen was frowning. 'Those marks on his fingers...subtle but...a puppet user?' he was staring at the stranger suspiciously, even casting Raine the occasional wary glance. 'Taki... could it have somthing to do with the death of his old master? His mind seems clouded though, a Genjutsu most likely.' (He would know.) 'But one that's above even my head...altering the memory directly? Or just omitting it?' he was now giving the stranger an indifferent gaze.

'Either way there's no trusting this boy purely on Raine's word if his memories under a Genjutsu's influence... and if he's an tried and true Puppet user then he's no amateur and at least genin rank... but say he is lying...why show up here? Now? In the wake of the attack? The Takikage seemed to have stopped all hostilities so if he is working for waterfall his motives wouldn't seem to make sense.' he gave the smallest margin of a frown. 'Then again...few things make sense when looking at them from a single viewpoint. He might be working for a rival power in Taki, perhaps this entire assault was merely a ruse, an illusionary prelude to some greater plot... unlikely...' he blinked 'But then you can never be too paranoid.'

Kimiko was blinking at Maboroshi's silent "brooding". 'What is it with Anti heroes and Brooding anyway?' she herself took a moment to evaluate the boy. He seemed earnest enough to her, and if he'd saved Raine then that made him alright in her books. 'Ninja of the same squad were as family', and all of that. She looked to their Sensei, trusting him to make a decision. If she left it to her Rival the poor guy might end up a pin cushion to those Senbons of his. Either that or worse...like the guy in the tunnel who'd been under Maboroshi's Genjutsu... she shivered at the recollection.

"I.. Saved this kid?" Hiro thought to himself. Hiro winced, as if sudden pain shot through him. His brain felt like it had been shocked. He grabbed his head and closed his eyes. He saw images, but none that Raine had described. He saw sand.. Lots of sand. He saw an academy room, he saw a house with the door smashed in, and lastly he saw the face of some boy. He couldn't tell who it was, but it had to be someone Hiro knew enough to remember, even if it was just faint. "The sand.." Hiro said accidentally out loud. He looked up and everyone was still there, no doubt wondering what he was talking about. "I'm sorry. Rambling I guess." He smiled for the first time since he had awoken. Maybe Raine was lying to him, but Hiro doubted it. Hiro had a gut feeling he wasn't lying. He knew where he had to go first though.. A place with sand. Sunagakure. Hiro looked at Dash, then to Raine, then to Xenon and Kimiko. He nodded his head and said, "Sorry for bothering you.. I guess I will be on my way now." He turned his back to the pack, and started to walk away. Besides, something about Dash made him feel.. Off.

Raine smiled to Kimiko, she got it, he also saw Xen step in front of her when she approached. Dashes gaze flicking to him his fingers ticking away at his side as if he were about ready to jump off his body altogether. The small boy tilted his head to the side a bit, noticing Xen's hands doing the same. Words behind him grabbed his attention. The sand? he turned towards Hiro once more.

"Hey hold on." Raine reached out, Dashes fingers quickened. It was stupid to trust someone so blindly, than again the kid did honestly seem to be having trouble. "Where are you going? You don't even know where you came from, how could you be fixed on going somewhere?" he said smiling, holding his hands back behind his head.

Dash thought of letting someone like this wander around the village it was certainly a good idea to keep him close until he could get a hold of Kasuke.

"Yeah. Stay here until we can figure you out." he said this turning his back, and pulling Kimiko and Xen's shoulders to turn them around with him.

Kimiko allowed her Sensei to lead her, looking up at him with smile. That should show Maboroshi, not everyone was an enemy out to get you, you had to trust people or you'd never get anywhere. Maybe that was another of Maboroshi's problems. He just didn't trust people like he should. She'd have to remember that one too. Every little bit helped when you were trying to transform an anti-hero back to the side of love of justice.

Xenon too went without a fight, but his eyes turned back, both hands entering their respective pockets as he glanced at the young stranger. 'Dash is stalling...we can't just let him go now... he's an unregistered shinobi within our sovereign territory with no official diplomatic business. He's going to be taken into custody and interrogated... come to think of it...' Xen looked ahead to where Dash was leading them now, his expression dull and seemingly oblivious. 'Why send a spy or agent under those premises? It would be far too much a gamble on our Villages compassion, and after just being attacked, it would be a gamble I wouldn't take...perhaps he is telling the truth after all...but...' he pushed up his glasses 'If that's so it still raises questions...'

Kimiko asked "Um, so Sensei...shouldn't we try to help him get his memory back, couldn't we call Kasuke?"

"Kasuke-sama, Lord Kasuke at the most." Xen corrected. "If you're determined to lack proper manners simply Otokage. Honestly Momoe-san you've about as much tact as Mokutan here."

Mokutan, having fluttered to his master's other should to avoid Dash's hand, cocked his head slightly. "Don't listen to him Kimi-tan, formalities are for stuck ups!" he then muttered in his masters ear. "So Chief we ain't really buyin this guy's story right?"

Xen flickered his eyes briefly, indicating to save the matter for later and the bird nodded. "Boss's just bein a stick in the mud!"

Kimiko smiled "Hah! See! Even your bird admits it Maboroshi! You know Moku, you're alright."

The Bird took a cheesy bow. "Naturally, Kimi-tan! Naturally!"

Hiro walked not but a couple steps before Raine stopped him. Hiro nodded his head, but he felt more uneasy than ever. He looked at Raine and responded, "I don't know. Maybe I should think about where to go first.." Hiro looked at Dash, "The Otokage.. Maybe I should leave, or maybe I should just play along.. This whole situation is starting to sound bad." he thought to himself. "I'll stay.. And I hope you don't mind if I train. I'll keep my distance. Is that all right?" He normally didn't need approval to do things from complete strangers, but he'd rather not piss off this Dash guy, or the Otokage for that matter. "My.. Name is.... Tony." He lied. He didn't quite know why, but he did. Things didn't sit well with him, and he would rather not be passing out his real name so readily, at least until he figured out what kind of merit his real name held. Hiro didn't hold out a hand to shake, but he put his helmet back on. He didn't want to get too comfortable; he might be leaving very quickly and in a hurry.

Raine smiled broadly, throwing his hand up and pulling it back as he turned to their training grounds, gesturing for him to follow.

Dash let the two go, falling into their own word. His mind wandered to what he was going to do with this lost boy, unaware of even his origin. Kasuke was going to have a lot on his plate. The swords on his back shifted as his shoulders moved they clicked together against the buckle holding them on. It was the only sound for an odd moment, the jounin's eyes narrowing before he whipped back, an anbu now crunching on the roof of their headquarters.

"Team 4, Otokage-sama has requested all shinobi to report immediately to his office." with that the anbu had flashed away in a hurry.

Dash sighed, Already? As if yesterday hadn't been exciting enough. He looked to his team hoping that had prepared themselves like they should everyday. "Well, let's go." The man stepped forward, jumping to the roof quickly, "You too Tony. Better time than any to take you up to the big house." he said this with clear sarcasm flinging his hair up with his hand and pushing his sunglasses up.

Raine was silent for a while, the odd message coming to him slowly, but soon enough it sunk in and Raine's heart filled his chest rising. It was action time! His fist's clenched and the boy untied his Aian Nakkurru looping them loosely so he could grab them quickly if need be. The boy ran forward quickly and jumped pushing his foot up to the building with much less easy than his sensei but none the less an amazing feet. He looked up to Dash with a "ready" expression. This would be their first mission together.

Kimiko's eyes went wide at the words "Lord Otokage" and "summons", with those two in the same sentence as team four, her spirits soared, not particularly caring about the ramifications. "I can't believe this! I wonder what's going on?"

Xen adjusted his spectacles slightly troubled. 'All Shinobi?' he looked at Mokutan.

"You want me to find out the buzz?" the crow inquired.

"If you wouldn't mind." The boy's crow took off on the wind, Xenon turning to his sensei. This was not a mission. No, one did not summon all shinobi for any common mission. This was an address. Xen's golden eyes flickered slightly. 'It must have something to do with the incident, it's to close to be a coincidence.' As Kimiko seemed overjoyed at being summoned, he himself was more intrigued. 'It's probably to clear up the details of what happened yesterday, clear up any rumors or misconceptions... I myself am interested to hear this.' he recalled the white haired girl with the Kage in the tunnel. 'Despite myself being in the thick of things, I'm not even sure what happened... I can guess...but it would just be conjecture...'

Kimiko tapped his shoulder "Hey Maboroshi? What do you thinks going on? Do you think we're going to get some sort of mission? Some kind of super cool assignment after we helped the village?"

Xen looked at her side long. "I suppose we'll see."

Kimiko suddenly frowned slightly. She knew that expression. While her rival was looking his casual mellow facade, it wasn't reaching his eyes. His eyes seemed all business, sharp, like they were during a mission or when he felt threatened... She knew those eyes well enough after being on half her missions with him. At the very least Maboroshi didn't like the feel of this summons, and though she didn't like to admit it, he was generally right about that sort of thing. She sighed now less enthused. Great, now he had her paranoid.

"I'll be right there" Hiro said. He would follow them into the proceedings, but when there were too many people to keep track of, he would duck out without Dash and the others noticing. He already felt uncomfortable with this jounin giving him odd glances. He wasn't trusted by the higher-ups, and the higher-ups were the ones to worry about. The ones that would off him if need be. The Otokage probably was ten times worse. It was their village after all. Hiro moved the scrolls of his two puppets from underneath his armor nervously. He had yet to test Anima in full combat, but he thought he would be proficient enough if the time came. Hiro planned his escape. "Ready when you are".

Xenon fell back slightly, away from Kimiko's and Raine's prying ears as Dash seemed to be preparing to lead them to the meeting. He stood now beside the mysterious Hiro, and though he wasn't looking directly at him, he spoke to him in an undertone. "I don't know who you are, or if your telling the truth, but either way, let me give you some friendly advice." he pushed up his glasses. "No matter your situation, liar or amnesiac, your most advantageous course is to escape at your first given opportunity. We've strong reason to suspect Taki behind this recent attack, and being affiliated with them under a Jounin's testimony will be hell for you." his golden eyes were still locked on Dash, hoping he was distracted enough with events. "I won't try and stop you if you slip away... However..." now he shifted his eyes at the puppet user in a sideways glance. "if you attempt to harm anyone during your escape...I'm afraid I'll be required to take decisive action." he looked ahead, unreadable once more. "Just keep that in mind."

"Maboroshi, come on! Let's hurry!"

He gave his lazy 'I'm a good boy.' smile out of reflex. "Of course Momoe-san, we can't all have your enthusiasm." still, the smile never reached those eyes. He wasn't doing this to be nice, it was more a whim than anything else, but it would also mean it one less stray factor to deal with. The truth was it benefited both of them if Hiro escaped in silence...

Kimiko hurried her rival along with gumption, this was either going to be really good, or really bad, either way, she was going to make her stand as a hero, you could count on it!! She led the pack as their team, and that Hiro guy, made their way to the Kage's office.
