And my mom appanrently opened "that package you ordered from Japan" while I was gone. She went on about wasting money on dolls and other things I can't remember. It was amusing.

ANY spending on something that isn't physically used is seen as a waste by mine. In fact, they seem to have problems with almost anything interesting, unless it passes through cable TV or the movie theatres. I doubt they can even fathom the concept of wearing a costume when it's not Halloween. Not that I'd be able to pull off any of the cosplays I want without it being disqusting...
