Ah that seemed more like it. He got out the pouch and divvied out the couplets for the price and offered them over to the woman with a smile, "I'm sold. I am sure she'll enjoy it, it sounds like it would be just right for her." Voltaire said cheerfully. The size didn't matter nor did the price so long as he was able to pay.

Ziva smiles and tucks the coins into the pouch at her waist. She gives him the vial. "Do enjoy, my friend. Take this as well, as a token of my appreciation for your business." She gives him a larger bottle. "It is peppermint oil with lavender. Excellent for headaches. Rub it on your temples when you need it."

He accepted both vials and nodded, "Thank you, it was a pleasure speaking with you. Thank you for illuminating the uses of the oil," he said kindly as he tucked the two new vials away with the pepper oil he had won earlier in the day and then turned on his heel and wandered off. Voltaire might have stayed to have a drink but he really wasn't all that thirsty at the moment and besides he had to get back to the wagon.

Ulo grunts as the pretty-boy walks away. "Why is it you always get the business, Ziva?"
"Because I am more personable than you, Ulo," says Ziva. "And I do not look like I am going to kill anyone who speaks with me." She pokes Ulo's chest good-naturedly. "It may help that I sell real merchandise, not just rumors."
"Time was there was damn good money in rumors," grumbles Ulo.

[re-post for Roggan] Forgetting her initial goal for a moment, she took on a concerned tone. "Are you sure?...Is something wrong?...I really wouldn't mind helping you out...Please let me help you."

Veshengo strolled down the lane to the Cider House, but on arrival realized his job might be harder than he thought. He glanced around at everyone in the pub. Checking fellow travelers off his mental list, He narrowed down the field. Not wanting to go around talking to everyone, he set out to ask the one person in the pub who would probably know everyone else best. The bar-tender. Making his way to the bar, he perched on a stool and gestured to the barman, "Excuse me, mate."

"Pint of cider will do me...for now." He gave Guillermo a knowing wink, "I was also wondering if you know of anyone by the name of Ziva? I've been sent on an errand and need to find her."

Guillermo readily fills a glass with the cider that made the town slightly famous. More like slightly less obscure, but close enough. He plunks it on the table for the man, then nods. "Aye, Ziva. She 'aunts the corner over there with Ulo," he answers, nodding in that direction. "The veiled woman in purple. She's a good woman, aye, but I'd take the advice of Roggan down there before anything that Ulo says."

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind..." Veshengo slid off the bar stool, taking a gulp of the cider as he went. He scanned his eyes around the Cider House, glancing around and checking in on his fellow travelers. Making his way over to Ziva and Ulo, he cleared his throat, then stepped up to them. "Excuse me...Ziva?...I'm here on behalf of Mama Paretta. Would you happen to have any pepper oil with you?"

Ziva smiles. "It is always a pleasure to work with Mama Paretta. She is making curry again?" Chuckling at her little joke, Ziva pulls out a small vial and gives it to Veshengo.
"And might I interest you in some rose oil or some ginger honey?" She pulls both vials from her satchel and shakes them enticingly, smiling a salesman's smile.

Veshengo handed Ziva the coins from Mama, taking the vial and tucking it into the sash around his waist. "Just maybe...what use would I have for them?" He grabbed a spare stool and scooched up to the table, intrigued in what Ziva might say.

After some time of playing harvest games and wandering about, Anezka decided to seek out her mother and see how she was doing. Hoping she was still where she had been left, Ani checked for her in the Cider House. Upon entering she saw her mother kneeled down by a man. Walking over, she placed her hand on Shy's shoulder.
Startled slightly, Shy turned her head and looked up. On seeing that it was Ani, she quickly stood and took her daughter's arm. "Anezka...that man..." She glanced around and then pulled her daughter away from anyone who might hear. "That man is searching for something...and I swear to you...He said Protectress. Ani, he might have a piece of the tri-rune...or had...we need to help him find it...This could be your chance."
"You don't think he'd just give it to me, do you?...He wouldn't part with it that easily." Ani chewed on her lip, "Well...we can try...if nothing else, he might be able to connect me with someone else from the Protectorate." She walked over to the man and knelt down, "Excuse me...sir...may I help you?"

Maeko-Hana Veshengo handed Ziva the coins from Mama, taking the vial and tucking it into the sash around his waist. "Just maybe...what use would I have for them?" He grabbed a spare stool and scooched up to the table, intrigued in what Ziva might say. "Well!" she exclaims with a friendly smile as Veshengo sits down. "The rose oil is said to cause feelings of love, commitment, that sort of thing. And the ginger honey brings you luck. I think you would like it. It is also good in tea, incidentally."
