Memora frowned and backed away from the two trees. She lowered her nose to the ground and began to back-track.
She stopped when she caught Wind-Cast Flurries' scent just outside the forest and followed that instead, lifting her head to see where she was walking.
A short distance in front of her was a pond and a very, very white fox-pony settled down on the grass.

"Congratulations," he murmured. "You found me in less time than it took Mid-Autumn Spirals to find a bunny in a group of mice."
He couldn't help was still grin, and then turned back to the distance. Just over the horizon was the meadow and pasture. Now she could find her way home.

She stifled a giggle as she stared at him. "You are no fun." she declared softly.
She followed his gaze and sighed, "Now I know where home is, I suppose."

"I'm an old fox, how fun did you expect me to be my lady?" He said, almost with a chuckle.

A rather unladylike snort escaped Memora but she made no move to apologise for it.
"You are not old, Uncle Flurries."

"Alas, I am quite older than you!"
He would win his battle. He was old but really none the wiser it seemed he was on his way to bickering with a child.

She laughed. "Yes. I suppose you are old enough to be my father."
A grin softened her eyes and she began to walk towards him, closing the distance between the two.
"You were supposed to find me. Not the other way around."

"I think it is much more fun when pretty ladies find me," he said with a slightly chuckle. He was trying to ignore the fact he was old enough to be her father and then some.

Upon reaching him, she settled down close to him, sitting just a couple inches away.
She stared up at him, a rather serious expression plastered across her face. "Why..." her voice trailed off and she looked over the body of water ahead of them.
"Do you have a special lady?" she asked softly.

He turned his furry muzzle towards Memora and titled his head and then thought. "No special lady I'm afraid," he admitted, thinking of Letho. She was such a pretty lady, someone a real man could love. He always told his brother if he didn't treat her right he'd... well, but his brother and Letho were like the day they first met. He'd always notice his brother chase poor Letho out into the woods and when they came back she'd be brighter than an apple.
"Perhaps I should settle down with a lady finally."

Memora laughed. "Settle down?" she shook her head, stuck somewhere between amusement and confusion.
"It's not as if it'd be hard for you, I'm sure."

"I'm getting old," he joked with a charming grin. "Who would want me though?"

Memora fell completely silent, looking anywhere but towards Wind-Cast Flurries.
"You are not quite that old..." she sighed heavily, not reacting to his jokes or smiles. "Any decent girl, I'm sure."
"What kind of girl do you want?"

Wind-Cast Flurries looked at Memora and then over the surface of the pond. "A pretty lady, one who looks good by my side and can keep me young," he murmured.

She kept her gaze firmly focused on the moonlit water, her body perfectly still save the required breathing.
"I'm pretty..." Memora whispered, mostly to herself.
