Kanto was the first region, Hoen was the first region with contests.
That's why I didn't post the link yet<3 I'm waiting to see if it'd be okay first.
As for the character discussion, I haven't had the time to post an actual post so I'm waiting till I have to time to go through the forum to do so. Art projects are a pain.......

@Nightfure - haha, thanks, but I shan't let my word doc win!!! Also if I write my posts here and then move it to the word doc to proof it doesn't auto correct, I have defeated the system!!! Although IF you ever see Lightface, by some fail screening on my part, you shall know that it is you. Unless a Lightface joins this guild, then we'll just all be confused rofl .
Yes I feel the exact same way about Jessie, but James no matter what never got on my nerves, he was just too adorkable. And nope, those smurfs don't have to make sense, but in years later it IS funny to poke fun at that. And yea I don't think any of the Kura's have that fatherly leader quality a Papa needs.
And yea, it's really good, way better than the anime. Again the end isn't bad it's just not to my tastes. Too wrapped up, that's about all I'll say for now. What I dislike most I don't consider too much of a spoiler but it might give away other stuff (if you start thinking outside the box). One of my favorite series though still, and great characterization I think.
@Ghost - I hated Misty, but when they took her off I stopped watching, just because I disliked her didn't mean they could just remove Misty. AND Brock? Though they did bring him back but yea, so I don't really know May.
And yea I'm with Nightfure, don't mind at all but I guess I can't usurp Kits on the final rule there. If she's completely troubled though you can always PM me if that's not too much work.
@Nightfure - *2nd shame face at reminder I missed the sticky* - oh well, at least I found the threads without it...^_~. And I WILL contribute to those more I swear, just later, haha.
@Ghost - art projects are an even huger pain when you are artistically challenged ^_~...ha *sigh*, at least I can write. xd

I love James too... and I was fine with Misty... she amused me XD I don't like Hoen and onwards, then, if Hoen had the contests... it was Kanto I was thinking about XD I'm an oldie at heart heart
*pets smurfs and 'Kuras* Maybe it's better if there're no fatherly quialities among them... They don't seem the type razz

@JK: Wait, I think I'm a bit confused on your sentence... Yuki isn't part of the manga version...? I know he's in the manga, from the little bit I've read but... he's like... not a main character or something? o.o But I love the angry emo relationship between Kyo and Yuki, so that does sound awesome. ^^ I'll definitely have to look to finish the manga version now.
@Nightfure: I think as far as favorite Pokemon characters go, it goes Brock, Jessie, James, Gary, and Misty for my top five... though only the first four I'm super fond of. Am I the only one here who's a big Rocketshipper? X3 But anyway, Jessie does annoy me sometimes as well, but not enough to detract from how much I love her.
@Ghost: I couldn't really get into Pokemon contest. XD I obsessed too much over getting the *perfect* Pokemon, and giving it just the right amount of berries, and blending them, and making sure it had the right status to lean towards the trait I was giving it berries for, and then I just realized... I wasn't having fun, and I wasn't playing the parts of the game that I actually had fun with. So I stopped, and went back to being a battler. ^^;;
And it's perfectly fine for you to ask people to vote for your art in this guild. If you want to just post a link in this thread, that's fine, but if you want to make your own thread to advertise, then please put it in the art subforum. If that's the case, and you just end up posting a thread asking once for people to vote for you, then I'll probably end up recycling it once the contest is over, but if you want to keep it updated as a thread that you continually use to link to new contests your art is in, then I'll leave it be. ^^ Thanks for asking though; It's always nice when people make sure for that kind of thing.
@Nightfure: I definitely preferred the older Pokemon games as well (Crystal was my favorite, but I really loved the first six), though I did also enjoy the newer ones. I really, really liked Firered though, and I can't wait for Heartgold and Soulsilver (those are the titles, right?).
Oh, and thank you for telling the others about the character discussion. XD
@JK: I didn't care for Misty too much, even though she was one of my favorite characters. XD Just goes to show how obnoxious most of the characters were. She did grow on me throughout the series a bit though, and I agree that it just wasn't cool for them to get rid of her. I stopped watching religiously about halfway through Jouto, and I stopped watching all together when they replaced the voice actors. I did watch up to the Lucario movie though (the last one with the original voice actors) and it was really good, as was the Deoxys one before it. I was so happy they only got rid of Brock for a couple short periods though. <3

HAHA...sorry to confsue you Kits...I meant he isn't part of the whole transformation scene in the manga. Yes, he IS a main character. Him Kyo and Tohru still. Just that one scene where you have Yuki clutching his leg in the anime and I dunno that s**t cracked me up, it always seemed a little off to me but I still loved it. So I kinda missed it when it wasn't in the manga. So yea, in the manga it's less drawn out, and it's only Tohru who chases after him during the transformation bit.
Jumping in on pokemon characters, Gary is probably my 2nd or third favorite. James winse. Then Ash and Gary battle for 2nd. Jessie is probably 4th. After that I think I stop playing favorites. And you might be the only BIG Rocketshipper here, haha, I like it but possibly only to medium sized levels... razz
She was obnoxious, but yea if I DID have to pick a 5th it'd probably be her. I didn't like watching her being replaced at all, so I guess I realized I liked her more (at least in some way) than I thought.
I stopped watching when they got rid of both Brock and Misty, and by the time they brought Brock back I was too comitted to being done. I think my roommate in college, while back then one of my best friends (and still a friend now, just not a best one), was just not fun to watch anime or cartoons or anything of that like with. Engineers *eye roll*...hehe. So other than Inuyasha (which I taped and watched alone) I kind of stopped a lot of series for awhile that year. I did get back into and finish YGO (mostly) later but while I've seen some sporadic "newer" Pokemon episodes from time to time, they just aren't the same and I don't think I could ever really get back into it - especially with different voices! Haha, I do want to watch some old ones again when I have more time. Yea I want to rewatch a lot of things...Pokemon, YGO, Code Lyoko, Yami no Matsuei - *sigh*, I need more time!!

Oh, okay, I see what you mean. XD Yeah, that scene was ULTRA dramatic in the anime, and I mean... yeah, it sucked for Kyo, and it was sad in its way, but it wasn't *that* big of a deal! XD I did love how Yuki dramatically tried to hold Kyo back, and they fought and such, and was all, "I'M TIRED OF HIDING, DAMMIT!!" I think I had stopped taking it seriously long before that point, so was just kind of like, "Ohhh, Yuki's riding Kyo! >D"
Ugh, I really dislike Ash... like, you won't even believe how much my friends and I Ash-bashed back in the day. XD We even coined the phrase, "dumbash." I admit there are times when he's okay, but I think more than anything, it just bothered me how such an idiot became so successful, and then how he kept getting rid of all his Pokemon except Pikachu! I liked those Pokemon, dammit! Pikachu's the only one I didn't like, and he still carries the damn rat on his shoulder everywhere! Ahem, I apologize for the rant. ^^;;
Yay, a medium Rocketshipper is still a Rocketshipper!
At least Yami no Matsuei you can pull off watching the whole series in one night, and it's all on Youtube. ^^ I think it's the series I've watched the single most times through, even though I don't own any of it. XD;; It's just so short, and I have friends who have the episodes, plus watch it on Youtube, and it's so good too!

I know, I mean the whole family picks on him, his mother kills herself and his father kicks him out so you can't blame him for being a little over sensitive - but in that I blame the family. It's NOT a big deal and I don't see why the family treats him like that, they just need a scapegoat for their own insecurites. *huggles Kyo*...and YES, while I whore Kyo out YukixKyo is still probably my all time favorite Fruba pairing so the slash implications in that are exactly why I love the anime version (not the drama).
Yea it's all on Daily Motion as well, that's where I was watching it, Youtube is kind of my last resort site because it tends to put things up in 6-7 or 10 minute segments. And sometimes the segments aren't cut well. If I can find it on DM usually the quality is fairly good and it's all in one part (even things like hour long OVAs are usually in one part). I like Veoh as well but it tends to yield the least results. Also, before I bought Loveless I watched it on Veoh - save for one episode I had to watch in pieces on Youtube b/c Veoh didn't have that one episode (so annoying). FMA is probably what I've watched the most. I probably would have watched Yami no Matsuei at least 3 more times by now if it wasn't for work and applications. That's one of the first things I'm doing when I finally have freetime, rewatching all of Yami no Matsuei, then finishing Gravitation (I'm halfway through the final volume and have been for months now, I dunno why I haven't finished ~_~) then reading YYH, Okane ga Nai, looking for Code Lyoko, Pokemon - UGH OK I AM TORTURING MYSELF WITH THIS LIST!!!
Ok, time to go get ready for bed so I can pace in circles (because I'm weird and need to dedicate at least 30 minutes - preferably an hour - to walking in circles on my bed, in the dark, listening to music before I go to sleep) and read. I have to go to bed at 10 to be trying to sleep at midnight, to be asleep by 1. And is it any wonder I hate having to get up at 7 for work? ~_~

Yeah, I thought it was fair and made sense that Kyo didn't want others to see him in that form, since he had always been told it was horrible and been abused for it, but the fact that all the others were like, "You need to show this form! OMG look at him!" and Touru was all like in shock and acting like a scared little Mary Sue and such... she's better than that!
Ooh, I'll start watching it on Daily Motion then if that's the case. =D Good luck with your list! I have a list like that of video games to beat.
Wow, that really sucks. XP And I thought I was bad with how long it takes me to fall asleep.

I don't remember the manga perfectly, but I think (think!) that she doesn't act like that in the manga version.
And yea I prefer Daily Motion whenever I can find what I want. It also has Yami no Matsuei in Eng and Jap, and I rather find it's one of the few things where I like the voices in both. Although in English Murkai does rather sound like a bad mock on an evil German scientist...^_~
I have random games to finish too, but I am less into games than I once was - and I was never that into games. Sims was pretty much my biggest game addiction and there is nothing to "beat" there.
Insomnia - my only curse, I think... razz

Hey guys, it's me<3 Sorry I haven't been posting, school's been keeping SUPER busy. I think I'll be able to start posting again next week, I mean posting actual posts. I have midterm critiques tomorrow and then I should be done with super big projects.

I've only watched one part of Yami no Matsuei in English, and that was because I was told that it's hilarious when Hisoka shouts, "Don't touch me!" to Tsuzuki for the first time. It came out more like, "Dan tash me!!" XD Doesn't Dan Green play Tsuzuki?
