arachnia "Well of course, it's up to you, but staying in that house, perhaps you would attract more attention, because like I said, it's abandoned. If the cops see lights etc in there they will be banging on the door thinking it's vagabonds looking to stay in there. Where at my house I have people in and out all the time. I kinda have the bad habit of bringing home people that need a home." She smiled at thinking about all the people that had come to her for help over the years, many still are living with her, and many others got what they needed and moved on. "Tis a mystery for sure, as to what you are, and your grandmother was. I'm sure you will find out if you look within." She smiled warmly. "Is the food ok?" ((where did everyone go? I thought we would have more interaction with others.)) The foods great an I guess you are right but I don't want to impose on you

Rose put her hand on Damiens, "It is never and imposition to help another, Iknow what it's like to be alone in the world. My house is down the street, if you want to come stay there, give them this, then they will know I sent you." She handed him a coin, it had an egyptian eye on it.

My house is down the street, if you want to come stay there, give them this, then they will know I sent you." She handed him a coin, it had an egyptian eye on it. A very large man answered the door. He was in a butlers tux, and wore white gloves. "May I help you sir?" He said in a very baritone voice. "What is that in your hand?" There was a great amount of activity going on behind the butler, many young people, doing what young people do, being roudy, playing piano, dancing, and drinking a red liquid in crystal glasses. Everyone was absolutely beautiful in appearance.

arachnia A very large man answered the door. He was in a butlers tux, and wore white gloves. "May I help you sir?" He said in a very baritone voice. "What is that in your hand?" There was a great amount of activity going on behind the butler, many young people, doing what young people do, being roudy, playing piano, dancing, and drinking a red liquid in crystal glasses. The man took the coin, "Mistress Rose has sent you. Please come in sir." He stood back from the door to let him in. "Wait here sir I will get Marcus, He is the one who helps people sent by Mistress Rose." He went over to a man, long black hair, white skin, dressed in a velvet smoking jacket, and silk pajamas. He nodded his head, and motioned for Damien to come over. He stood and smiled, "I'm so used to my sister sending people, you are most welcome sir. I assume she has fed you, and is giving you shelter for the night. I smell you are human, or something thereof, and she trusts you enough to send you to our home, so you know we are mostly vampires here. We don't feed on humans unless they want us to, we don't kill at all here. Let me introduce you around, then I can show you your room." He introduced him around, then showed him a well appointed guest room. A girl in a maids uniform was making the bed. "This is Sissy, she is the maid on this floor, if you need anything please pull this cord, she will come and assist you. Breakfast is served at 7am, of course our vampires will be sleeping, we serve breakfast for our human guests." He bowed slightly. "You must be from out of town, Ihave never seen an apparatis like this." He pointed to Damiens watch. "How does it work, it has big numbers and no face, I assume it has clockwork like mine." He pulled out his pocket watch, a very expensive old fashion pocket watch.

You have a pocket watch an this model we have never uncovered one that was intact just rusty round circle with gears.Now thiswhat I have is a digital watch.Here it hasn't been invented but it runs on a small battery not wind up like yours.An no it doesn't have clockwork just something called microchips and wires being powered by a battery

Marcus smiled, "Micro what? Battery? I have no clue what those are. You say you have never seen one like mine intact? You can buy them everywhere, I sounds like Mistress Rose has you here because she is protecting you, if you are from the future, at least that is what I deduce you are from, the rift may have brought a lot of bad things from the future. " He turned to Arthur the Butler, "Put the house on high alert, bring the mages, and wizards, we may have fallout from the future, a rift has been found." Arthur bowed, and went to put the house on alert. Suddenly all the levity ceased, and the house was full of bustle, to carry out Marcus's commands. "I'm sure you must be tired after your journey, I would love to disscuss more about the future, but we must put wards around this house to protect you. Perhaps tommrow evening, if you are staying that long, you are a guest not a prisoner." He stood, "Sissy, make sure he has everything he needs." He held out his hand to shake, "It's an honor to meet you time traveler."

He held out his hand to shake, "It's an honor to meet you time traveler." thanks for the caution but I am the only thing from the future here I got here by walking through the stone labrynth but I think all that has brought me here is my devotion to my grandmother an this amulet she gave me before she somehow it seems to me know else from my family would believe it so they disowned me.I like your time an mine but I know nothing is their for me anymore

Rose finally came home, it was near sunrise, and the house shutters were pulled shut to not let a lick of light in. The lamps were lit, and rose pulled off her gloves and cloak and gave them to Sissy. "Ah Marcus, is my guest well ensconced in his room? What did you think of him? Why is everyone at battle stations, are we under attack?" Marcus smiled, "Sister, we have a time traveler in the house, we don't know how he got here, but perhaps "things" can come in the rift after him." She poured herself a bloodwine. "Or perhaps, we can find the rift, and harness it's power to another dimension, imagine the advantage we would have if we could glimpse into the future." She sat down sighing. "As soon as the sun sets, I want to take the boy with me to the Labrynth, I want to see all of this for myself. I want Coran the Wizard to accompany me." Marcus smiled, "You think he dissappeared in there don't you. YOu can't face the fact your husband just left you." She got up and sniffed, "He didn't leave me, he loves me." In a second she had her talon to his throat,"Take it back Marcus or our family will be one less." He put his hands up defensively, "I'm sorry sis, I take it back." She swollowed the lump in her throat. "When he wakes come and wake me in my sarcafagus. I'm tired, and I feel the sun rising. Goodnight brother." She swished out of the library, and down the hall to her well appointed room.

Damien wakes up an sees it is 6 pm he slept the whole day he wakes up an thinks what if it was something called a time rift he walks to the labrynth an walks like he did when he got their an finds nothing unusual except a circle with weird markings he rushes to the old library an reads an soon finds it.He rushes to find Rose at the house
