Shadow grimaced and had to run with reflex. As the creature charged towards the building, she lept as hard as she could in the direction opposite of what he was running. It should take him a few seconds to get turned around, and if she could land in her shadows, a few seconds was all she needed.
Luckily, she and Sapphires were jumpers far more than they were swingers or anything stereotypically Spider-Man. She easily made the distance from her spot to within a few feet of the shadows.

Once again, Hulk stopped by crashing into the now vacated building, reducing it to little more than rubble. "STOP RUNNING!" Hulk yelled, "HULK WILL SMASH YOU!"

Shadow took no time and getting herself into the center of her large shadow. "Well, that's certainly a good reason to stay still now, isn't it?" she growled.
Without waiting for him to charge at her again, she lifted her shadows off the ground, and let them cover the entire area around her in thick darkness.

(( OOH! OOH! CBJ guesses the flying hamsters of doom! xp ))
Hulk stopped quite suddenly. Well, quite suddenly for the Hulk, meaning he had to take five steps to slow to a stop. "Masked Woman uses magic on Hulk! Shadow Woman won't get Rosie!" Hulk made a full-strength dive for Shadow's last known location. There was probably going to be a small crater fom the landing.

His pause gave Roxy a few extra moments, but it still wasn't enough time to transport herself to a safe distance. The most she could do was quickly move herself to the very edge of the mass of darkness...well out of Hulk's reach.
The sudden vibrations caused by Hulk's landing caught her off guard enough that she fell upon arriving at the edge of her darkness. She kept her shadows up though. She couldn't afford to have him find her.

(( I don't expect to kill her. I just liked the idea of Hulk having a companion. It made him much more fun for me to play ))
Hulk left a crater, like expected, upon landing. He stood back up, looking around blindly due to the shadows. "HULK WILL FIND YOU!!! HULK WILL SMASH YOU!!! HULK WILL SAVE ROSIE!!!" His only instict right now was to back into the direction he believed Rosie was. He had no idea how accurate, or inaccurate, he was in his guess. He just wanted to keep her safe.

Shadow made it back to her feet and turned in the direction Hulk was in her shadows. Unlike Hulk, she could see perfectly within the darkness. He was heading back towards Rosie. Rather than go after him, she hesitated. If he was THIS determined to protect the child, then she should be safe. Right? She could try and explain things to the creature later. After she found Warp. If Rosie was safe, then he was top priority again.
She watched him another moment, then concentrated on finding a shadow in a completely different area. Finding one, she slid into the ground via shadow and left the area completely. Once she was gone, the darkness faded into nothing.

As the shadows lifted, Hulk stopped and looked around for any sign of Shadow. Deciding that she had left, he bellowed again, grabbed a car, and threw it at the crater he had made; he was still in a rage. He continued to look around, for any possible threats to his of Rosie's safety.

Rosie stood in the same building she had gone to hide in, watching wide-eyed out the broken store window. After a moment, she carefully moved away from the window and towards the door to peek out of it. She didn't want to just go out and up to Hulk just yet. Not while he was still so jumpy. He could easily mistake any movement she made as the other woman and toss something at her by reflex.

Hulk looked around, and slowly began to calm down as decided that there was no further threat. His posture changed from one that screamed 'ready to attack' to a more relax stance. He had stopped yelling, too.
