"I'm sure Rhine and I'll figure something out. We've got a while before we have to tell them at any rate," she shrugged.
"It's not something I'm going to worry about right now. What I am going to worry about right now is getting the both of us ready to go down the aisle. Can't leave them out there too long...." as she reached for her gown she felt the butterflies return. It was so little time now before she and Rhine would be joined, and it wasn't something she felt she would be able to truly wrap her mind around until it was done and over with.

"Can you get into your dress without help?" She asked, as she slid her hand under the back of the shirt she'd worn to adjust the bra she'd needed to wear for the occasion.
Such undergarments were new and quite foreign concepts to her but it was needed to give proper body to the gown she was to wear. As soon as it was straightened out she untied the halter around her neck and took her dress out of the garment bag.
"How much help do you need, Keet?" She asked before carefully putting the Maid's gown over her head, and easing it down her frame.

"I'll at least need your help zipping up the back and straightening out the train...and I'll need your help to put the veil on....Do you need any help with yours first, like getting your tail where it needs to go? Because I'm sure I won't be able to do as much as I would normally once I'm in the dress," Keeta said as she slipped out of the black evening gown she had worn up until now. She wondered if there was irony in the fact that she was going from a black gown to a white one.

"Just help with the split for my tail." She said as she maneuvered her arm so she could reach the side-zipper. Jiao'lan managed to pull up the zipper without catching any of the more downy feathers that cushioned her larger, flight feathers.
She looked to Keeta, her eyes sparkling. "Yes, well...I'm sure that dress'll look one thousand times better once you are in it, Keeta."

Keeta helped manuver Jiolan's tail into it's spot before stepping back to admire her friend.
"The dress looks great on you! Is it comfortable?" she asked before stepping back to unzip the large white wedding gown. She laid it on the floor gently, it having been designed to step into, rather than raise over the head. She pulled it up around her and the small cap sleeves onto her arms, before turning as well as she could, so Jiao'lan could work on zipping up the back of the dress.

"It is." She said, leaving out that the undergarment didn't impress her much. But then again, she'd never worn such a thing so the experience was quite different.
"And thank-you. The seamstress did a rather good job altering this, since it was made for a human's body." Jiao'lan agreed with a chuckle as she pulled over a chair to she could zip-up Keeta's dress, and pin in her veil.
She took a moment to look at her friend, and smiled.

The rest of getting ready took but another ten minutes and soon Keeta and Jiolan were ready and started out the door back towards the beach. She had grabbed the bouquet that had been sitting on the table on the room before leaving the room. The butterflies intensified with every step. Keeta stopped at the door that would lead them outside and turned to Jiao'lan.
"Will you go outside and let them know we're ready?" she asked her friend, wanting to wait for Rhine's signal that he was as ready as she was to join their lives together.

"Curse these things," Rhine said as he gave up on the tie and tossed it aside. There was A LOT that went into putting on a suit- and a lot of it he didn't see the point in wearing. However, he was doing his best to get everything 'perfect'... 'Perfect' just wasn't him.
"Don't look at me," Sky's chuckle came off more as a whicker. He couldn't help it that he didn't know much about the ins and outs of clothing... He had only had a human body for a little over a year and there was still a lot to learn.
"Can I just stuff the tie and save it for later?" Rhine asked with a mischievous grin. "Seriously, I'm not wearing shoes so why do I have to wear a damn tie?"
Sky put his hand on Rhine's shoulder. "Look she loves you for who you are... You are the rugged good looking, spur of the moment type of person. So what if you cannot cram your feet into a pair of shoes or get your tie just right or align the buttons just so... You'll pull off whatever look just fine."
It was at that moment Rhine realized that all the uproar he was causing was just his form of jitters. He couldn't help but to burst into laughter as he pulled Sky into a hug. "Thank you," he said as he caught his breath. They were more like brothers than father and son but it worked for them.
"Now, get out there and marry that lady before she gets any older," Sky patted Rhine on the back firmly.
"You should take your own advice on that one... Just don't go and try to marry my lady," Rhine said with a wink. He turned to leave- he was ready to marry Keeta (not that he hadn't been to start with).
Rhine more or less ended up in much the same clothing as he would wear day to day. A pair of black slacks and a white button up shirt. He'd done his best to tuck it in and make it look right. He did have a jacket but it wasn't button. To best describe him he looked like a rugged model for a center fold- and he could pull it off nicely.
----
Perian, Ayisha, Aurora, and Camille where line up on the right side. Natalia, Aurora Dawn, Tinker, and Joel where line up on the left side. Camille and Natalia had baskets of flower petals and where at the read for when the bride would be coming down. Joel was holding onto a plush pillow that had three rings positioned in the center of it.
Sky and Rhine had just come into position next to the preacher when Jia'lan had come out to see if they were ready.
Not that there needed to be further explanation of just how ready things were an extended wedding march began to play- it was prerecorded so that it could include the entire families violin skills.

At the sound of the wedding march, Keeta drew in a shaky breath. It was time, and although she knew she was only going to be walking out there in front of 20 or so people, as she waited to exit that door, it felt much like a crowd. She straightened herself up, before givign the returning Jiao'lan the nod to preceed her down the aisle.

Between the wait and the anticipation Rhine could barely control himself. He wanted to bolt down the isle and to find her and hurry her up... He wanted to do a million different other things. He took a deep breath trying to get and get a hold of himself. This may have been his second time getting married but this was the first time that it felt one hundred percent right- that every piece of the puzzle was fitting exactly into place.
He released a breath he hadn't realized he was holding when he saw Camille and Natalia begin to throw the flower petals... That meant that he would see his wife to be, Keeta, in just a few more moments. He was grinning ear to ear like a little kid who had just been given the biggest cookie in the whole world.

Jiao'lan followed Camille and Natalia down the aisle, being mindful of her tail. She glanced to Rhine as she walked and the look on his face warmed her heart. She silently cheered Camille on, knowing how shy she was.
Jiao'lan was fairly nervous, herself, about messing up even though she had such an easy part of the ceremony. All she had to do was get to her position near the altar and stand there.
But if the girls could do it, so could she.
As soon as she reached her mark all of the mental tension left her. All eyes would be on Keeta.
As it should be.
It was, afterall, her big day.

Keeta finally made her way out into the line of visibility. She smiled seeing the girls, Joel and Jiao'lan make their way down the aisle to...Rhine. When her eyes found Rhine's, all thoughts of nervousness left her mind. Suddenly there was nothing else but him, and she had to work to maintain a dignified pace and not run down the aisle towards him. In that regard the aisle seemed horribly long, but the actual travel time was less than a minute. Soon, however, she was beside him, beaming, oblivious to almost all else.

"Never thought you'd get here," Rhine chuckled as he wrapped his tail around Keeta's ankle. The tip of his tail still twitched a bit from being nervous. The grin he wore was plastered and seemingly impossible for any normal person to have.
The preacher took Rhine's hand then Keeta's and joined them together as Ceres approached them with a ribbon in hand.
"I hope your dress isn't to complicated," Ceres whispered with a chuckle as she wrapped it around their wrists and bound them together. "Because this ribbon isn't to be undone until your first twenty four hours are up."
"I'm sure we'll manage," Rhine looked from his mother to Keeta, "somehow..." He was trying to stay as upbeat as possible because he knew that untying the ribbon before the time was up was considered bad luck.

"I love you," she whispered to him as Ceres approached. Keeta intertwinted Rhines fingers with his, her eyes never leaving his face the entire time their hands were being tied together. She barely even heard Ceres' comment about her dress.
It would be impossible to remove entirely without cutting one of the small cap sleeves, but they would worry about that later...she squeezed his fingers and broke her gaze on his face to look at Ceres for a brief moment. She offered a gentle smile before returning her eyes to his face.
"Yes, we'll manage."

"Keeta," Rhine said her name in the softest tones he slid a few fingers under her chin. At this point their was only one person in the room that truly mattered.
"I spent a lot of time trying to think of one thing in this realm or any realm that could be a symbol of you and our love. That one thing that no mater what I could shower you with over and over again and without word you'd know the meaning behind it... Until just a day or so ago I thought that task impossible, but then something occurred to me."
He smiled down to Joel as he took one of the rings from pillow. "You see mollusks have the ability to create beauty from something minuscule- a grain of sand. I'm not saying that our love is tiny or an irritant that needs covering up..." He slid the strand of pearls onto Keeta's finger. "But, what I am saying is that our love starts out as something small and it grows. Everyday there is beauty to be found in our love."
"Keeta Harding I want you as my wife, my partner, my best friend, the mother of our children... I want you as my everything. I want to hold and treasure you in this life and in what comes next. There isn't anything I cannot do so long as you are by my side." He took the second ring from the pillow. "Will you please accept my proposal and be one with me?"
