"Oh, nothing important." He looked up. "It's turning dark. Well then, I'll be right back." He left, but returned briefly. "I went ahead and gathered some firewood when I was out searchign for salvage. This'll keep both the animals and the cold away."

Lune nodded in silence as he stoked the fire to life. Once it's was burning well enough, he left again and came back with a two drooping, giant leaves. They kind of resembled green rabbit ears. "These can serve as blankets when we sleep." He handed one to Alex.

"Thank you." alex said softly as he grabbed one. He warmed up by the fire as he tried not to cry.

Lune moved the rocks with their shirts on it near the fire so that the heat could dry them faster, but not so close they'd burn up. He then layed down on the ground. "In the morning, after breakfast, I'm going to find some strong wood to make spears out of. For fishing. Them going searchign for salvage again. I might have to dive in the deeper waters though..."

"Ok" Alex said as he dabbed at his eyes. He was never in a sityation like this before and he was scared.

"Oh." Lune paused. "Well, if we're found. I'll build us a boat. And I've been trained in environments like this, I'll keep us alive." Then, for the firs time, he smiled warmly.

"I don't see any reason why not." Lune replied. He lay back on the ground, his arms behind his head.

Alex laid down by Lune and covered up with his leaf. He curled up still a bit cold.

Lune noticed. After a moment, he draped his own leaf over Alex. "I'm used to this climate. You're not. So take it. No point in getting sick at such a crucial time." He said all this rapidly, giving Alex no time to decline.

Lune listened to Alex breath until it evened out. Once it had, he got up. Naturally, he wasn't tired this early. He looked back at the other briefly, before leaving to explore a bit more of the jungle.
