She sighed, nodding in agreement with Pas. She didn't mind so much when her underlings approached her anywhere else, with an exclusion for missions of course, but the constant badgering while she was in her private study was more that just a little agravating. She pushed a hand through her silvery mane, sifting through the strands and pulling a single lock forward, twisting it over and over around a lithe finger.
"I'm tired of bantering anyways, Captain, it's just about time to get out there and find some action." She handed him two of the missions from the stack, "One is yours to fullfill and the other is to assign, you may take whomever you wish on your assignment or go alone.. give the other to one of the others. I'll assign the rest." She stood, snatching up the rest of the papers and ushered him from her study, following behind and locking the door as soon as they were outside.

namidar had been battling the ice elemental for awhile now it seemed just to damn hard to break "well then looks like i am going to have to break out a new trick" he pulled out a bottle of oil with a mark on it and spread it over the blade of the scimitar it suddenly combusted and he whirled it around "now lets dance iceman" he once again lunged at it his flaming scimitar leading

Glancing at the stack of papers handed to him, Pas raised a curious brow as he stood up and took a hold of his own assignment, not very interested in the other. "Interesting...all for little ole me? Well, I'll feel better doing this alone. Heh, if I screw up, you'll be one Captain." The young faced Drow mused as he then shuffled the papers to look at the other assignment. Raising a brow, the Captain looked to his leader.
"Question: Who's available to take the other one though?" He then asked, not too familiar with everyone that's in the mercenary group.

She tapped a sheaf of parchment thoughtfully against one hand, "Well, there's Namindar and Jiv... I don't believe they're currently involved in any missions right at the moment.." She glided slowly through the corridor, trying to remember information on the formentioned lackies, and then went a bookself in the main room, pulling a brown leather-bound legder from under a stack of books, causing a small avalanche of papers and tomes to cascade to the stone floor. Frowning at the mess she turned her attention to the book, flipping through until she found the pages she was looking for. The were basic bios of her mercenaries, "Looks like Nadimar Zauvirr is your average merc and Jiv'undus has specialties with assassination and strategy.."

Within the confines of the plane of shadows
"Hm, it would seem my employer has no record on me. grinning maliciously All the better to cast a new impression then, I wonder what I should do first?" Waving into existence a sigil that manifested into a shadow "Follow Jiv'undus and find out if he holds anyone, or anything dear, don't bother interfering and if you are spotted flee..."
Walking into his broken shadow home
"Hm, if they need to contact me I'll need to send a representative." grabbing an onyx gem from a partially collapsed cabinet "This should do." Applying generous force to the gem "Soul of the dead, I summon thee to do my bidding, bind with earth, soil, and death, serve my commands necro elemental!" A small elemental, at first glance an earth elemental, but upon closer inspection made of gravedirt, bones, and the like emerges from the semi solid soil. "Go now to Orowan, follow her instructions that may pertain to my services, return if threatened."

Within the Plane of Shadows
*Feeling the magic of the ice para-elemental breaking* contemplating out loud "Oh good, namuidar was able to slay my little summon. I would have been disappointed if he couldn't at least kill that."pulling out a bag and equipping three rings from within it "Good thing I picked this up from my house." Starts to draw the diagram for a portal...

She plopped herself down on one of the chairs in the main living area, cracking open a map-book and studying the towns of the underdark thoughtfully. It would take only a few days to begin the plans she and Pas had discussed in her quarters, the only question was whether or not their phishing would be accomplished on the first try. She studied the grounds around the third house, familiarizing herself with the terrain and rock formations as well as the severe stone carvings dedicated to their deity. Orawan would have to scope them personally before too long, she would need to study the surrounding area just in case her mercenaries needed to make a necessary escape into the underdark as well as explore for possible ambush sites the enemy would most likely use. She drew a fountain quill from a pouch on her belt, scribling notes in common, a language not written by most drow, on a parchment leaflet.

Taking another blank sheet from the back of the book she traced a perfect outline of the terrain and the house, marking seemingly random areas with strange symbols. Orawan nibbled her lower lip thoughfully and furrowed her brow, studying the map more closely.. it wasn't terribly specific.
Pulling her notes from the book she rose gracefully from her chair and shoved the book unceremoniously into an empty space on the bookshelf, snatching another tome, just as large, from the top shelf. She brought it back to the chair and opened it across her lap and rifling through pages. She wasn't sure what she was looking for at this point, the book in her lap held descriptions and sketches of creatures in the underdark as well as some poorly drawn maps to isolated places that no longer mattered to anyone.. but this is what desperation does to a Drow, it takes her to places she wouldn't have thought about normally.. Desperation, or resourcefulness? She shrugged away her thoughts and glanced through a few maps. She'd have to take her troops on a raid of the Duegar villages during their sleep cycle soon..

Small talk.. it wasn't something she was often engaged in, she looked up breifly at her underling, sizing him up and examining as if he were a sort of strange creature she'd never seen before. He was a smith, if she remembered correctly, and had spent a great deal of time in the underdark. She turned back to her maps and pondered them thoughtfully, and then tossed a glance back to Namidar. "Do you have the dexterity to draw me a map of the underdark to an alternative route for an isolated Duegar village?"

Having finished the portal diagram... Stepping out of the shadow of the bookcase in Orowan's office
To Namdir, "If you can draw the map I can bring us there." To Orowan, "If you can give me a description of the terrain I can bring along any beasties that we may need. Only problem being that the space has to be open enough on the other end." bringing out a new map from his robes and offering it to Orowan "Per chance though, why go after the Duergar? they pose little threat with little reward and, although it is likely to be disregarded, I suggest an Illithid settler camp a few miles out from Starless Sea that I had examined. They only have a few thralls but seem to be guarding something or another with a few human mercs."
