1. I PvP a fair amount now (working on the 100 mounts), but I wear my PvE gear when I do. My PvE gear is quite good, and I find that while my survivability might suffer a bit due to having no resilience and not a whole lot of health, the damage that I can do in my PvE gear is through the roof. Pair that with knowledge of how to play, knowledge of what I need to be doing, and motivation, and I usually top the meter of any BG I am in.

So I'm in a BG a day or two ago. And before the gates even open this warlock starts talking crap about people who wear PvE gear in BGs and how they're "retarded." So I don't say anything. The BG starts. He keeps typing, giving people directions and "tips" that were coming off extremely elitist. And he just keeps going on and on. So when the BG was almost over I opened up the meter. I was #1 with about 700k. The #2 person had like 400k. And the guy talking himself up was like third from the bottom with about 70k. And no, he wasn't guarding anything. So finally I was like, "Hey, buddy, you're talking a big game for not doing any damage." Rather than try to fight with me like I expected him to, he just started giving all these excuses about how he was CCing, not getting any heals, etc. I didn't say anything after that, just sort of laughed to myself. I'm a warlock too, and I was also banishing, fearing, and not getting many heals. So I look the guy up. He has a mix of crappy PvP and PvE gear. His hit, haste, and crit are all low, but he's got mp5. He's done 10 man Ony, a lot of pug 5 mans, and some BGs. That's it. Now normally I am not one to make fun of people. But it really pisses me off when people try to act all elitist and call other people "retarded," especially when they flat out suck. My gear and experience put his to absolute shame, and I still never walk into a BG with that kind of attitude. Makes me sick.

2. When DKs first came out I made one, leveled her a bit, and went into an AV. Everyone had done the same thing, it was literally an all DK AV. I ended up being #1 damage and #1 healing.

3. I used to PvP with two resto druids from my old guild, and that was awesome. I was able to get some achievements like Wrecking Ball thanks to them.

4. I get in a WSG and make a healthstone. This guys starts giving me crap for not having points in improved healthstone. I'm like, "So make your own if you want. No reason to be a jerk." So it starts. After a while, he gets the flag, dies, calls everyone a noob. Then he starts says very obscene things to me, which I don't even think Gaia will let me type (I reported him for it), because I was wearing PvE gear. So I said, "Have you looked at the meter? If you think I suck, then you're saying you suck more..." Silence. God, I hate mean people, but I love when they shut up.

5. One time, in WSG, a Horde grabbed our flag, stayed in room, held it until our own flag carrier came back, then dropped it so we could return it. I bet his teamies were peeved, but I liked it. xp

Best pwning I've ever done was on my lvl 37 rogue.... today actually... lolol....
Arathi Basin just started, I yelled, " Lumbermill is MINE" mounted and took off running straight toward LM. I ended up being all alone but that didn't stop me from taking LM, my favorite place to be in AB. As I approached LM I decided to use my sprint skill which increases my running speed by 70% instead of the wimpy 40% from the lvl 20 mount. As the flag for LM came into focus I caught a glimpse of the red floating name of the Evil Alliance side and quickly moved into stealth and waited in position for an Ambush. As soon as I ambush I looked to see how much I did, I ended up oneshotting this lvl 39 paly with about 1.5k hp rofl. out of the corner of my eye, I noticed not one, but two red floating names. This time i decided to run straight for the rage buff and quickly stealthed again and got into position for another ambush but this time I had to sap the other guy. As soon as I sapped I ambushed the little low lvl 32 gnome rogue and took him off quickly with a backstab followed by a eviscerate. I vanished and quickly stealthed over to the sapped lvl 38 druid.
Started off with a Ambush, backstab followed by a kidney shot, but as soon as I stunned the druid another ally came into this killing spree so I quickly and expertly used blind on the new ally, which was a lvl 36 human mage.
I ran over to the unstunned Druid which was trying to heal herself but I used Arcane Torrent which foiled her plan and quickly dispatched her with a gouge then a backstab. Now was the time to kill the lvl 36 human mage but when i turned around to kill him, he was gone! As I stood there dased and confused i tried to look for him. Suddenly I noticed the little purple swirly above my head and then i knew. I mistaken the mage for a rogue and quickly revised my battle plan and waited for either the rogue to cancel the sap with a hit or wait till he moves out and stealth to cap LM. He decided to take me out. As soon as i saw sap has been removed i quickly gouged the rogue used sprint ran around him till i moved out of combat and stealthed then quickly cheap shoted him, followed by a vanish and ambush, next I kidney shot him. I knew I had only 5 seconds to quickly use Preparation and vanish again. I did just that in time. When I ambushed him for the second time I noticed he only had about 100 hp left so I decided to finish him with an Eviscerate. After I capped the Lumbermill I stood there dancing in victory that I just killed 4 alliance without even taking a hit. Suddenly I heard the dreaded sound of a stealthed rogue and quickly turned around to fight him but noticed not two, but five alliance ready to pounce on me.

The rest of the story.... I think you can figure out....

I'd have to say that I love love love playing AV these days. I totally rock on my Sarasvati Warlock! I usually can take out people that are my lvl and lower than my even ones that are slightly over me by a lvl or 2 I am lvl 75 when they are well more than 1. And sometimes I can even kill a lvl 78 or 79 on my own too so ya I love playing AV quite a bit these days. I am relatively new player and I had a hard time for the first bit trying to figure out what to do. But ya not only that but everytime an expansion comes out I it seems that I am always in the middle of getting a system or laptop and then I have to learn all about the expanion when it comes out. So ya I haven't played in about 2-3 months now. And unfortunately I won't be on WoW for a little longer but I have officially started saving for a 2200 dollar laptop so when I do start playing again I will be on a really great system that won't glitch up or crash so... Lol anyways I am babbling soz hehe. heart

AV

Alli = Around 500

Horde = Around 300

Eventually it ended up being an all out brawl on the cliffside leading up to the GY right before the enterace to their fort. The end result came out to be something like:

Alli = 0

Horde = Around 30

It was an awesome comeback victory, I just wish I had remembered it more clearly. It was so long ago since I last did an AV.

i've had two pvp experiences where i've felt a sad amount of pride.
the first was in AV as my pyro-mage who was 67 at the time. we were at the frostwolf village place, right at the hut on the hill that acts as their chokepoint and the horde was actually guarding the hut for once. i was hiding in a bush at the bottom of a ditch at a curve and just spamming [tab]-living bomb-[tab]-living bomb over and over. love how they made it so it can be on multiple people. i saw so many explosions and so much scrolling text it was awesome. i lived for a good 4 minutes before anyone tried to kill me and by then i had already killed 5 people on my own and helped with the deaths of about 20 others and cast pyroblast(something that's REALLY hard to do in AV if you're not defending/procing the instapyro) about 7 times. wasted a LOT of biscuits, potions, and mana gems in doing so, but i was second in damage which was pretty awesome.

my second didnt occur in a bg. i was coming to Ramp to run a crapload of guildie dks through the instance(it was a little after Wrath dropped) when lo and behold they were idiots and started attacking horde there at the meeting stone. most of them went into the instance but one was too stupid to do that and kept dying and coming back and dying over and over. i finally decided to end it and waited til everyone dropped out of pvp until it was just one undead warlock who was flagged trying to goad the idiot guildie into attacking him so his full group who had finally arrived.

well i decided to flex my fresh 80 muscles and dropped in from the skies right in front of the kid and summoned my pet. his lv61 a** just started backing up in fear, hoping i wouldn't attack since he was backing down. I walked forward a few steps and he would walk back just as many. well, eventually, her ran out of ground to back up on and fell off the edge of the Ramp. i laughed for a good solid minute at the fact that it actually worked
