"Oh, that would be me, right?" She looked from Nu Sou to Fa, then back to Nu Sou, getting slightly dizzy, since she still couldn't believe that she was out here, helping her tribe. "Well, I can do all sorts of things with the air, I'm already more powerful than my master," she told Nu Sou, a smile came to her lips.

Ka Shu Fa leveled Sing Shu with a deadly serious look, "Your powers and limitations may be tested soon. You will learn your weaknesses and discover new strengths. Do you believe you can handle such a task?"
Fa knew that, while it might be likely that they would have to pull quite a few stunts to get the rebels to flee; it was just as likely that all they would have to do is produce a few minor tricks, blow something over, set something on fire, yawn and bore stuff. However, Fa couldn't help but be worried about Shu. She seemed a nice girl and Fa didn't want her being startled, wounded, or suffering from lending them aid.

Sing Shu was startled by Ka Shu Fa's deadly look, and confused by what she asked. "I've told you already that I'm ready for this, and that I'm stronger than my master already, why didn't you say anything then? I'm not gloating about it, just stating facts," she told Fa. She kept her face blank while telling all this to the fire mystic.

"Bah, don't be so uptight, Fa. One of you could take this encampment. By allowing all of us to go, it makes it more of a bonding experience. The tribe that kills together stays together, or something." The encampment was just ahead, and Sou was holding his club. He couldn't wait to finally get into the fray of things after so many months of doing nothing. "Fa, Shu, lead the attack."

Shu was stunned, and almost couldn't move, she's never lead any sort of attack, but was up for the challenge. Spear in one hand, she started approaching the encampment ahead. She stayed in the shadows, waiting for Fa to come up next to her so they could start.

Xi's Passionate Caress made it difficult for Fa to hide. But it was not impossible. Instead of trying to hide in the shadows, like Shu, she hid in the softer lights. It was a technique that actually worked quite well. Evenly and silently, she approached the encampment standing straight and tall, a mask of chilly indifference on her face. As soon as she was near enough to the encampment, she drew her blades, fire coating them as they were unsheathed.

Who on Earth held a healer captive? It boggled the mind! But they'd gone ahead and done it, the barbarians that they were. One of them mentioned holding her ransom and another had actually patted her down and taken her weapons. He hadn't thought to take her hair pins, but the poisoned golden stems were up a little higher than her bound wrists could reach. Jen just had to get Yue summoned didn't she, just had to go blabbering with that motormouth of hers.
This was misery incarnate.

Shu looked over at Fa, who was preparing to spring in on the encampment at any moment, she readied herself as well. She readied her spear, as it helped control the wind around her and her opponents, and blew out the small camp fires and torches, throwing them into darkness. She dashed to the closest tent, and hid next to it. She slashed her spear at one of the men who was at the camp fire, and he went flying up into the air, twisting and spinning, then landed on the ground, not moving. "One down," she whispered to herself.

Fa, gaze not wavering from some distant point before her, made no attept to be subtle as she entered the camp. Slashing through tents and people; anything that looked remotely flammable. Her skin glowed brighter when she used her powers, usually singing the inside layers of her clothes. Screams of burning men filled the air. It was not long before half dressed men wielding weapons were upon them.

Shu looked over at Fa, and saw she was torching the entire place,"Fa! They might have something useful, like plans or something!" Shu called out to her. What if they did have plans drawn out for more attacks and where they were going to attack. She remembered her master telling her a story of when he was to steal some attack plans, but she couldn't think of that now.
Shu ran out from her hiding spot, and saw three men running after her, she spread her arms and closed them, a funnel of air forming around the three men, picking them up and shooting them into the sky, spinning and screaming, she never saw where they landed.

"Don't worry, I have no intention of burning this place to the ground, I simply wanted their attention." She said calmly as she let her fur lined leather coat to the ground, revealing her slightly burnt ao dai. Stepping forward, she turned her attention away from the burning tent and dead, to the crowd of wide eyed warriors before her. If they wanted a fight, they would have to come to her.
Just run away. She thought, There is not shame in running from a 'demon'.
((AHHH! I've gotta be in Texas by the end of this week or the next so my activity's going to be really slow! crying And just when things were getting good. crying ))

Shu ran to Fa, and stood next to her in her fighting stance, they could easily take these men down. "Great attention getter," Shu said to Fa, grinning wickedly. She was in the fighting spirit, and she didn't want it to stop.
((What are you going to Texas for? I wish I could go back to Texas for a bit...))

Jin Lian Yue didn't like yelling for help, but something was burning and two women were shouting right outside the tent she was in. Seconds ago her guards had run out with their weapons drawn, leaving her tied down to become the possibly victim of burning alive.
"Hey!" she shouted loudly. "Get me out of here!"
Damn if her weapons weren't on the other side of the tent.
