Sickle held out his hand a moment. "Come on, Tsuki, it was probably just a sore spot. It was a sore spot with everyone before hand." Sickle reminded the wolf. He didn't want to see anyone getting slugged on account of Kairi. He didn't say much more, but he was hoping the distant wolf would start thinking outside her little box - something the past four years should of taught her had she not gone off to be alone somewhere.
Super jostled around in the back, shifting through a number of things before sniffing the air. Turning to the stovetop, he found a somewhat still-full batch of... what was this? "It's... stir...cheesy..." He pondered it a moment before calling from the back, "Hey Sickle! What the hell is this stuff on the stove!?"
Sickle blinked a moment and turned to look at the closed door. He couldn't see the hedgehog through the window, so he guessed the green one was just not at the right angle. "A kinda Pizza Stir Fry. Didn't you read the sign?"
"Little distracted at the Second Coming of Kairi, kay thanks." Super muttered, pondering if the warm food was good for babies. Considering wolves are naturally carnivorous, this fruity and meaty concoction of Sickle's mind would be fine. And considering the word Pizza was it, Nadia would have some two. Birds: 2. Stone: 1. Grabbing a couple plates, Super dealt a small amount to Beo and a slightly larger portion for Nadia.
Sickle turned to Kairi a moment and raised an eyebrow. "Did he say 'Be right there'? He's across the sea!" He said incredulously. Haden hurt his mind sometimes. "I suppose we'll have guests at the home soon." Sickle said, hinting to Kairi that he had been somewhat prepared for her return. It wasn't that he had much hope left, but more keeping himself in denial. It was unhealthy... but it worked.

Rolling her eyes for a moment, Tsuki looked back over towards Sickle for a moment. "I'm not actually going to slug him Sickle." Tsuki responded, as she crossed her arms for a moment. "If I do anything, I'll grab him in a headlock and mess with his hair--but I'm not going to slug him." she stated, before looking away from him. She knew that it had been a sore spot, especially with Haden--she just wasn't expecting him to react in such a way. Back when she was still Moonshock, Tsuki would have slugged him without a second thought--but now that she was Tsuki and was calming down--she was thinking about it a little bit more.
As if right on cue, Nadia quickly gave a response to Super and Sickle's short conversation about the strange concoction of a special that the black wolf had made. "Pizza!!" Nadia cheered out happily as she grinned widely, as she threw her hands into the air for a moment, Nadia loved pizza--it was one of her favorite...possibly most favorite foods. "Beo like pizza??" she asked, before smiling widely as the plate of stir-fry pizza was placed down in front of her and quickly beginning to dig in.
"I'm pretty sure he never thinks things through when it comes to things like this." Sparky said. Thought she could understand somewhat, when they first were separated, Tsuki just up and vanished from the face of the earth--deciding that she didn't want to be around anyone--just wanting to be alone after loosing her brother, who deep down she cared for. "It'll be nice to see him again--whenever he comes." she said.

Kairi was leaning back in her chair with her eyes closed, thinking about the apartment she had shared with Sickle and wondering if that was still home or not. After the conversation about her brother she said, "Haden is... well, you guys know Haden. I can only imagine how he acted when I went missing but I bet his little freak out over the phone just now wasn't half as bad." She opened her eyes and glanced at the clock, gauging how much time had passed since she spoke to the other fox. "I'd say he'll be here in about 7 hours." She then got up from her chair and went over to where the kids were. Beo was considering the plate of pizza like substance with and odd expression on his face. Kairi kissed the top of his head, "What's wrong, sweetheart?" The pup looked up to it's mother. "Momma..." Beo addressed her in a very serious tone for someone his age. He then pointed to the plate of food. "Snack?" The fox laughed at her son's tone but then nodded, "Yes, Beo, that's something you can eat." She pulled a chair up next to the child seat and began helping the wolf/fox pup eat his meal.

Super blinked and shrugged, not wishing to discuss the falling out between them and the wolf. Now that Kairi was back, it was probably going to be a sore spot, but they all ended up drifting apart because of it. "I think he blamed me for it." He said bluntly. "I was the tactician at the time, but I had nothing to do with your missions, to be honest." He added. "Not like grieving listens to logic." He mentioned. A rather heavy set of words, but Super barely noticed them. Almost as quickly as he said it, he turned to Sickle. "I'm not sure if it's wise to keep the store running today. Mind if I flip the sign and lock up?" Super asked.
Sickle took a moment, then nodded. "I only had some customers this morning, ever since the clock ticked noon, Tsuki was the only person to come in." He informed. Super nodded slowly as he flipped the sign and pulled out a small set of keys from his jacket pocket. Locking up, Super lowered the blinds, and the room was suddenly awash in only artificial light, yellowing the area. Super blinked a couple of times to get used to it before moving to the back to clean.
Sickle made as if to move after the hedgehog, but it didn't feel right to leave Kairi, not yet. Turning to his wife, he raised his eyebrow. "Seven Hours? I wonder how he's gonna catch the next flight so quickly..." He saw her conversing with his son, and chuckled when the pup had no idea how to go about his meal. "I don't blame him, it looks a bit more like lasagna than I intended." He related, despite Nadia apparently 'wolfing' down her meal.
Super, from the back, chuckled to himself. Foxes and wolves. He was the odd hog out, and yet he was a lone wolf in that regard. "Sometimes, idioms don't make nearly as much sense as they should." He joked dryly to himself.

Kairi smiled and looked at her husband, and smirked. "There's not much pizza where we were... Honestly, I'm surprised Beo recognizes anything that isn't fish as food. Well, fish and the occasional seal..." She paused for a moment and lowered her head, feeling a little bad that her brother had acted so adversely, but still fully understanding why he had and knowing his emotions. "He may of seemed to be blaming you, Super, but I'm sure he was blaming himself a thousand times more. He never likes it when I go on missions without him, but he always gives in after I complain a while... it was probably eating him up inside, the poor idiot."

Super tapped his chin before shrugging. "He probably was. We all were." Super muttered. Super on the other hand, had watched his friends move through the five stages at their own pace, all except Sickle, who remained in general denial. Not that it affected their friendship, but it had been a sad sight sometimes. However, the joke was on them, it seemed, seeing as the wolf was right all along. But Super himself? He passed all five with lightning speed, accepting the death moments upon the news. He'd been in wars. In battle. People died left and right. A crashed plane held little survival, and in the arctic wastes, he had never thought the nomad polar bears that marked the only denizens of the harsh climate would ever take in an arctic fox. But here she was - healthy, with child in tow. He felt an unlimited relief that even he, as well known for his brain as he was, that sometimes being wrong is the best thing in the world.
Sickle paused a moment. "Fish and seal." He echoed, thinking it over. His wife and kid were forced to eat... well, not so much forced as no other option, so sparingly. He felt a flash of guilt for being so comfortable the last year without her. Without his son. His face lost a little color, but he returned to his pleasant demeanor quickly. There was little he could do about it now. But there was everything he could do for his family now, and he would not let them go again, for whatever reason.

Giving a bit of a smile as she watched Nadia finish off her pizza, Sparky moved away from Kairi--deciding to leave her with her with Sickle, before heading over to her husband's side. "Slow down Nadia, you don't have to eat so fast--no one's going to take it from you." Sparky said, trying to get her daughter to slow down a bit--not wanting her to choke. Listening to what Super said, the yellow wolf gave a bit of a frown as she thought about it, he was right--even Sparky blamed herself for what happened to Kairi, whatever reason connection she could make that would link herself to what happened--the yellow wolf thought of. Unlike Super however, Sparky didn't go through the phases so quickly and for a little while refused to even believe that her friend could be truly gone...but as time went on, it seemed like it was becoming more and more true--until now.
Looking over towards Beo, Nadia quickly gobbled down a piece of cheese with fruit stuck to it, before giving a quick smile. "It good Beo." she said happily as her tail wagged about, she was definitely enjoying the fruity-meaty concoction that Sickle had made up--that was for sure. "Uncle Sickle make yummy snack." Nadia said with a smile as she finished off her fruity, stir-fry piece. "Daddy's better though." she added a second later, resulting in a chuckle from Tsuki. "How long Auntie Tsuki stay?" Nadia asked, looking over towards the silver wolf for a moment.
"I don't know..." Tsuki started, only to have Nadia stare at her with sad eyes, causing her to make the strangest 'gack' sound as she looked away. "Don't make that face twerp..." she mumbled and glanced back towards her niece--who was still making the face. "Alright, alright--I'll stay for a few days." she said. "...can't say no to that face anyway.." she mumbled softly.

Once Beo confirmed his suspicion and his mother's statement that the gooey substance before him was indeed food, the young pup was thrilled. Kairi spooned the food into his mouth and if she wasn't fast enough for his liking, he chomped his small but very sharp fangs together in protest and anticipation. "Momma Momma!" She laughed and looked to Sickle, " I think he likes it, Wolfie." The pup's eyebrows furrowed and he looked to his father. Not used to having his mother speak to anyone but him, he wrinkled his nose. "Wooldie?"

Super opened his mouth as if to comment, but closed it and looked away from Tsuki. He was entertained enough as it is without reminding the mix-matched wolf that that face she couldn't say no two was one that looked like her own, but accented with his. So, Super bit his tongue, turning to Kairi and marveling how the wolf was alive to keep his mind of teasing his sister-in-law. His ear twitched slightly when Nadia said his Pizza concoctions were better, in which he merely smiled warmly. His Pizza was often made from scratch, and it's something he made a lot. It stands to reason he would know how to cook one dish better then Sickle's all around talent.
Sickle looked down toward his son a moment. In mock despair, he through his hand up over his eyes, "Not another one!" He lamented. Truly, the count of people calling him Wolfie had been steadily rising over the years, from just Kairi, to Kairi and Tsuki, to a number of his regulars, and now his own son. "But..." He mentioned before throwing his smile on again. "I'm glad my son has such five star tastes. I bet he gets it from his father. He has a five star taste in extraordinary things, like food, or women!" He commented, a wry smile on his face as he squeezed Kairi's shoulder playfully.

Kairi smiled and wrapped an arm around Sickle's waist. "Oh, our son is really something, Woolfie. Just wait until you get to know him. He's got a real personality this one." She ruffled their son's hair and Beo made a face. "Momma..." The little wolf/fox was trying to decide how to regard his new family. This green guy seemed okay and he really liked the little wolf. The two other women he hadn't passed judgment on. Really, the most puzzling one for him was the black wolf. The man seemed intent on making a good impression however. "Wooldie!" He demanded, reaching upward. "He wants you to pick him up..." Kairi put a hand on her chin, knowing her son didn't really let anyone hold him.

"Is that so? Well, glad to hear it." Sickle paused, and turned to the little scamp. He reached up to Sickle. "I just put him..." Sickle began, but mildly shrugged. Sickle understood the action - Nadia asked him many a time in much the same way. Picking the rascal up, he held him softly and smiled. His son... his son. It was so odd, so foreign to him. "You're a cute little guy." He smiled. He desperately wished his son would accept him sooner rather than later - it would make the whirlwind of the next few days much easier.

Beo reached up and touched Sickle's face, roughly. Eventually his small hand settled on his father's ear and he pulled on it. Kairi saw this and intervened, loosening Beo's grip and making him let go. She stood in front of Sickle and leaned down a little to fuss over the pup. "Oh stop that, Sweetheart. You can't go pulling on your dad's face all the time, you'll hurt him." The baby just laughed. He seemed to know he was being bad, but he also knew he wasn't misbehaving enough for his mother to punish him.

Sickle just went with it, until the boy started tugging just a bit too roughly. bringing up his arm, he put his hand up near his ear so when the pup pulled down, he'd run into Sickle's stern hand, and be unable to tug any harder. "Mischievous little scamp, aren't you?" Sickle asked the little one, raising a eyebrow. His eyes were on alert though, watching the baby's actions like he was in battle, just so he could dodge any movement of harm, specifically to his eyes. "So little Beo, I suppose you've got a lot of stories to tell your dad, huh?" He lowered the pup so he would no longer attempt any attack on his upper face, and the worst he could do is maybe bop his nose a bit.
Super turned to Nadia, who was finishing her meal up quickly. He blinked long and sighed. Things were good. It was a truly good day, the first in a long time. He felt that now, whatever life through at him, he could take with his head held high.

((lol--you'd probably make an awesome narrator--and omg..i've appeared again o3o))
Sparky couldn't help but chuckle as she watched Beo pull at his father's ear, apparently enjoying himself at the point. The yellow wolf remember when Nadia used to do that, now the little green wolf was more into picking things up and trying to figure out what they were, instead of pulling on them--didn't make it any less cute though. Giving a gentle smile, Sparky watched the two for a bit longer--happy that her friend had returned and that she was reunited with her family...for once in a long time, it felt like the rest of the day was going to be good--something she had been hoping for, for a long time.
"Auntie Tsuki." Nadia called, causing the silver wolf to glance over towards the wolf cross, who smiled for a moment as she sat in her chair. "Nadia wanna hear story." the little, green wolf said. "Auntie Tsuki promis, member?" Little Nadia always love Tsuki's stories of adventure and the people that they met a long the way--even the ones where the 'bad guys' seemed like they were winning.
"Yeah, yeah." Tsuki said, replying simply, fully aware that her answer was all she needed to tell her niece. Crossing her arms for a moment, the silver wolf leaned gently against the counter as she began to ponder about what story she was going to tell Nadia this time...furthermore, what story she possibly left off at. Hmm...so many to choose from. she thought to herself as she thought about it a bit more. I guess I'll just leave it up to her. Closing her eyes for a moment, Tsuki thought about all the stories that she had told Nadia, some of which involved her brother--one of the few people that Nadia got to meet...and strangely something that pained the silver wolf at the thought of it.

Beo watched his father speak, and seemed to be listening, but he was too young to really understand what the older wolf was saying. He wrapped his tiny hand around his father's nose and tugged a bit and then gave up. It didn't seem like any of the wolf's facial features were removable and he was getting tired. "Wooldieeee," the baby whined and squirmed in his father's arms, "Momma!" Kairi was quick to act and pulled Beo's favorite blanket from her bag. "I guess I'll have to tell you everything for the time being, Sickle. The pup has had just about all he can take for one day." She ruffled her son's hair and then handed him the blanket. "He seems to trust you so he'll probably take his nap with you holding him, if you let him. He'll sleep through anything once he passes out."
