((NPCing all four Squads Shinigami unbiasedly))
As the four Captains duked it out in pairs, their Shinigami were left to fight amoungst themselves. Division 2 Stealth Troops moved like a sea, a true Squad that moved like one entity against the tussles of Shinigami of the 9th, 8th, and 3rd. The wave was quickly broken through, a well placed Byakurai splitting the wave into two cliffs that then shattered and scattered. It was like pouring a liquid on a sea of ants, they broke apart and it became every man for himself. It was a wonderful and empowering spectacle to see but one mustn't look too long, it was war after all.
The sound of Zanpakuto filled the courtyard by the Gates to Earth. Men and Women sent blood in every direction, young naive Shinigami fell to the ground in heaps. The battle was furious, it was like the fight between grasshoppers and ants in the movie A Bugs Life. In all reality, it was sad to see former friends and allies murdering one another. Like true followers, the Squad members followed their Taichou into battle without thought or doubt. They did what they could to assist their Captains and fought like heroes till the very, bloody, end.

The fist appeared as if from a dream, whirring towards him as it sudden manifested itself in his vision. Muscles tensed within Tezuka's body as he bent his knees, arms now hanging at his sides as he tileted himself forward and sprinted into a shunpo aided jump. He sailed again, spinning in a corkscrew motion past the captain of 2nd squad on his left with his arms now tucked against his body. A whirr as the haori flowed rapidly in the breeze created before a hand extended out to touch the ground, causing the man's body to flip forward even more as he planted his feet and preformed another backflip. It was rather acrobatic in nature, and had it been used in a combative sense Tezuka would've immediately turned around and drawn his sword to attack the man at his exposed back; but this wasn't one of those moments. Instead he just stood there, thumbs tucked into his obi as he smiled at Mikhail, head tilted to the side a little askew. "I didn't come here for your games either." He snapped, eyes turning to slits as he glared at his fellow captain. "If you want to play we can do it some other time, but right now I have s**t to do." His right hand came up to gesture more vulgarities at Mikhail as he stuck out his tongue, exposing the twin piercings upon their surface. "Later, b***h." And with that said Tezuka was gone, using shunpo in rapid bursts as he made his way back to his squad. He wanted to make sure the Lieutenant knew about his plight.

Mizuki appeared with a slight flash of dust on the outskirts of the would-be fight, he eyes showing blatant amusement at the third-squad captains antics. He flash-stepped next to Mikhail, looking forward as if he was staring at an unfolding scene. "Bit of an annoying little worm isn't he?" He said with a light chuckle, crossing his arms lightly in front of him.

"Well if it isnt Sir. Bug-Up-His-a**!" Raine yelled loudly as she saw Mizuki appear next to Mikhail. Shunpoeing next to him, she blinked rapidly, trying to clear her vision. Rapid movement and perfectly aged vodka didnt go well together. Smiling in a drunken fashion, Raine set the half empty bottle next to Mikhail's foot. "I got bored. And you know what I do when I'm bored. I'll find ya some more later on." she giggled, then hiccuped and sighed happily. A little bit of vodka cheered up anyone in the dumps.

Mizuki glared disdainfully at the appearance of Raine. He was still not overly fond of the younger captain, and it showed. "It seems you still have a problem holding your swill miss Raine." He said with a smirk, "Perhaps you should stick to soda instead? I'm sure they have a vodka flavor if you look hard enough. Anyways, this is a private conversation. Or are you here about me supposedly owing you dinner and drinks?"

Laughing suddenly, Raine looked at Mizuki sharply. "If they did I can garantee I'd buy a whole bucket load." she paused and tired to stop her giggle fit. "But that would take the fun out of getting wasted and passing out in random places naked wouldnt it?" she burst into another fit of giggles and wipes her eyes free of tears.
Smiling and putting her hands on her hips, Raine nodded sharply, then regretted it. "You owe me that stuff and Im not gonna let you weasel your way out of owing me stuff. Got that short guy?"

As soon as the words "short guy" left Raine's lips, Mizuki's blade was resting at the edge of her throat. "Do not ever use that term on me again child." He hissed, "You are centuries away from being strong enough to speak to me so brashly." He sighed, relaxing a little. "I suppose if I do not oblige you, you will never stop your mindless prattling though, will you?"

Tapping the edge of Mizuki's blade with her pointer finger, Raine smiled wide. "Ya know, for claiming you're so damn old, you really do act like a little kid. I mean, who gets all riled up at words?" she laughed and took a step back, holding her sides. "Man you really are a good laugh ya know that Old Man?"
Nodding and turning her back, Raine began speaking again. "Yup. So lets get going! The night is still young, which means there's more drinking to do!" she laughed loudly and began walking towards what she thought was the direction of his squad, but in her semi drunken state she would have said up was down and left was right.

Mizuki sheathed his sword with a quick motion and placed his forehead in his left hand, shaking his head slightly. "This should promise to be interesting." He muttered to himself. "I am sorry for the slight delay Mikhail-san, I will return shortly." He flash-stepped directly behind Raine, then grasped her by the collar of her haori, flash-stepping a moment after and dragging her along with him.

Squeaking at the sudden shunpo, Raine tried to keep up with Mizuki. She made a note to herself to not try this again, because she was sure it was going to end up in a horrible hangover tomorrow. She figured it'd be worth it though. She was getting free food and drinks, which added up to heaven in her book.

Just like all over the Seireitei, battle ensued here, at the gates, as well. This was a big disappointment to Ntozake, though her expression did not show it at all. With her hands stuffed in her pockets, the clicks of her dark stilettos could not be heard throughout the noise of the battle. The woman ducked and dodged several attacks that were meant for other shinigami. All of this was just completely rediculous. Since the battle has been taken here, she highly doubted that she was going to be able to get her game from the Living World. It would be a shame since she was looking forward to that game. Ntozake sighed, almost not catching a glimpse of the other Captains leaving. There was only one left, Captain Mikhail. This time, she groaned. How the hell was she supposed to get around him? Ntozake wasn't looking for a fight and with everything going on now, one might think that way. Maybe she can negotiate? Ntozake shunpo'd towards Mikhail, clearing her throat. The height difference between the two was very apparent, which made her quite intimidated by the man. "Erm... hmm...ehh... Will I be able to go through or do I have to fight you or somethin'?" Ntozake asked him, smiling weakly. "I didn't come here for a fight... I just... want to get away... that's all..."

Hearing the familiar voice of another fellow Taichou, Mikhail's head turned towards her direction. "Ntozake, its been too long." Remonissing about the old days when Ntozake and himself used to stir up trouble in the Sereitei, Mikhail had to smile. Back then, both young Captains had not a care in the world, they went around showing force and knocking some heads around but now, they were forced into this civil war.
"If its just your passing through, go ahead. As far as anyone else going or coming back with you, then we'll have an issue." Nodding to one of his Omnitsuke members, Mikhail signalled that they let her through the gate to the human world. Without need to signal back, the Stealth Troop went and ordered the others standing by the Gate itself.

A weak chuckle escaped her lips as he mentioned how long it has been since they have seen each other. She was sure that it couldn't have been that long. Well, now that she actually thought about it, it might have been a while. Being cooped up in the lab for days, she often lost track of time. Ntozake just sighed, with that weak smile still on her face. "I guess it has been a while, Mikhail... then again... you don't ever come visit me anymore...," She chuckled. "I really enjoyed them--" Ntozake stopped mid-sentence as the cell-phone, stationed on her hip, vibrated. This device was more like her pager in case something went wrong in one of the labs. Taking the pager from it's case, Ntozake read the message with a frown. Just when she had gotten clearance to go, something like this had to happen.
"Eh... I'll be back later, Mikhail... We have a situation in the lab...," She trailed off as she turned on her heel. "I'll see you sometime later. Remember, you're welcome to my Division anytime..." She told him with a smile before she shunpo'd away, back to her squad.

Seeing as Raine was apparently busy elsewhere, Mizuki flash-stepped back to the gates, looking around for Mikhail. He found him without to much trouble, after all, it seemed as if the captain did not often move from his watch. "Mikhail my old friend. Where were we?"

In Mikhail's life, people always and undoubtably came and went. It was a vicious cycle of sorts that kept him alone and at others time overwhelmed. Recieving parts of both extremes, Mikhail struggled to find a median that suited his lifestyle and characteristics. Having several fellow Taichou and the one Lieutenant come and leave at their leasure, Mikhail was a bit put off by their interruptions and impromtue-ness.
Turning to face Mizuki, Mikhail shrugged. "Beats me, I'm sick of trying to keep up. I'm always a mile ahead of everyone else or three miles behind 'em. My pace is my own and therefore I try not to think too hard about where we left off." Giving a bit of an odd wink, Mikhail slipped his hands into the pockets of his haori and yanked the hood of it over his head. Yes, Mikhail had a hooded haori. He'd designed it himself to be practical and unique.
