Ellandra smiled warmly at Annie. "It will just be a lile bit longer. Don't worry, little one." Really, these children were brightening her evening extremely just by being here. How odd, but pleasant.

Kelly finished eating as well and got up to take his dishes to the wash basin.
Annie, meanwhile, was poking her sister in the arm. "Hurry up, slowpoke."

"Now, no need to do that, Annia," Ellandra said, her eyes darkening just a bit. "Sara will finish in her own time." Children were pleasant, yes, but they were also . . . well, chidren. And childish. And had a ttendancy to be impatient. But it should be alright . . . Ellandra just hope she could handle this.

Sara grumbled a little at her sister's poking, finishing in her own time. Faolan came over and collected the girl's dishes and took them to the wash basin. He shooed Kelly back over to the table before bringing over some cookies for the children. "Here you are, weans."

Ellandra watched the children with bright eyes, resting her hands on her belly as she did so.

Faolan looked at Elle and smiled, moving to stand behind her, hands on her shoulders and massaging them gently. He leaned down to kiss the top of her head. "You hae tha' thoughtful look in your eyes, lover."

"Hmm?" Ellandra said, tilting her head backwards to look up at Faolan. "What do you mean?"

"You look like you're thinkin' about what th' twins will be like when they're born," Faolan explained, continuing to massage Elle's shoulders. "I think about it a lot, too. They're almost here an' all I can wonder is . . . will they like me?"

"Cannae help worryin' on it. I mean, donnae you e'er worry they wonnae like you? I like kids an' I raised enough o' them around here, but these--" He moved a hand down to the swell of Ellandra's belly. "--will be mine an' it makes me more nervous than anythin' else."

Ellandra rested her hand ove Faolan's. "Of course it does," she said softly, still looking up at him. "But then I remind mself that they're only babies, and I don't think babies are able to dislike anyone, at lest at first." She paused for a moment as a rather powerful kicking-sensation pressed against the spot Faolan's hand rested. "And then something like at happens, and I think it's a reassuring sign."

Faolan's expression was of utter awe at the kicking of one of his children. "Still amazes me nae matter how many times they do tha'."
"Uncle Fao, we're done wi' th' cookies," Annie called softly.
The young man nodded, moving away from his wife a little reluctantly to see to the children.

"Me too," Ellandra aid quietly, then smiled at the children. "Did you like the cookies, little ones?"

"Yes," Annie giggled while her sister just nodded quietly.
Kelly peered up at Ellandra. "Aunt Elle? How come you keep starin' at me sometimes? Did I do somethin' wrong?"
At the question Faolan froze a moment, looking back at Ellandra, before cleaning up after the cookie devouring.

Ellandra blinked but smiled and rose from her seat, waddling over and ruffling Kelly's hair. "I'm just wondering if my little boy will turn out half as handsome as you, that's all."
