You two are monsters sometimes.
But Space Hulk is awesome. Most of the club would like to marry it. heart

Well I haven't had the fortune of trying out the new version but I dug out my original edition straight outta 1989 and I gotta say, I do love the game.
Has anyone played both the original and new version? If so would you be willing to explain to me the differences you have found in it in terms of rules/gameplay? Don't bother talking about how much better the models look because lets face it... 20 years in the making, it's expected that they'd beef up the look. But being a practical gamer, I'd honestly play Space Hulk with a pad of paper and some counters and dice. It doesn't need fancy tiles and miniatures to make it good, that's just the topping on on the cake for me. lol

Some of the expansions have been condensed and added along with some extra missions, so now you have the assault cannon and Broodlord along with a pile of Deathwing missions.

That's all? Wow, I was expecting more.. lol
Gotta say though, its funny that they only now add in the assault canon because through out the old rule book there is picture after picture of termies with assault canons and yet not in the rules. Unless of course back then flame throwers had 6 barrels... lol

Well, ask for much more and it would be a mucking mess. Twelve solid missions and good solid rules that haven't been changed much.

I love this game! heart Granted I´ve never had a changes to play the original ones (wasn´t nerdie enought. emo ), but I did managed to get to play the DOS version of it that I managed to find and download from the net while it was freeware, but to be honest it blows. xp
Good quality tiles and excellent models, althou I did sell the termies away to a friend and swapped the broodlord and few stealers with a friend. They we´re just TOO DAMN GOOD to leave them get dusty at the bottom of the box and I do collect Deathwings, so why not use them. :p
The best part about the tiles is that they are big enought to add your modern termies in medium bases, so there´s not that big of a issue of not being able to use them. 3nodding
Desbide having the constant feeling of getting your arse kicked with [piip] load of nids and the timer running, there are moments where you get the changes of divine intervention; one lone model saving the day while others die a heroes death or failed where this one man succeeded.
I tell you, everytime you play this game, as marines or nids, every match will be epic.
