I'm Zen, sans Buddhist, because I don't agree with a universe-creating god. I believe that people create gods, and their combined power of belief create those gods, but that those gods can't effect the real world.

Proud Wiccan. Wow apparently Firefox thinks i spelled Wiccan wrong. (I didn't did I?) I ask one thing of all of you who read this. I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK MY RELIGION IS BS I DON'T NEED TO HERE IT FROM YOU! I get pissed when people say Wiccan is a BS religion along with Paganism but that's just a general term for polytheism beliefs (correct?).

You spelled it correctly, I just clicked the option to add it to my dictionary so I didn't have to keep seeing the little red squiggly line. I wouldn't call any religion BS if it helps to improve the quality of ones life and doesn't cause any harm to themselves or others.

I suppose I would call myself a Pagan Buddhist. I'm still learning about Paganism though, so at the moment I'm not in a group such as Wiccan or a Druid or anything, I look into things alot and don't just accept them right away(like Buddha said, don't just accept something because a teacher or a parent or someoen told you so, accept it after you look into it for yourself and it makes sense to you) But I suppose I'd call myself a Theravada Buddhist, and I accept the Gaia(earth) Hypothesis and such. I'd tell more about all my beliefs but I'm sorta lazy at the moment.. =P

I'm a Reform Jew. Even though I was born into it, it really fits my beliefs. Although, I'm considering being Orthodox. Might not go all the way, but I feel like I'm becoming more religious. sweatdrop For Reform, we're pretty liberal about the laws and customs. I have a family member who became Orthodox, but wasn't much of anything before as a Jew. It fascinates me for some reason.

I have a lot of Conservative friends and one of the synagogues we were a part of used to Conservative. I don't like the way they run their service for some reason. I guess I like the Orthodox customs more. I don't know, hard to explain I guess, sorry.

Are you prepared to follow ALL shabbos laws, give up eating anything that is not kosher and never wear pants again?

I guess I'm trying to say I'm kind of caught between the 2. Yeah, I don't like the laws for the women. But, I would like to follow all the Kashrut laws. I want to follow more of the other laws too. And, I don't agree with most of the conservative things.

wow, just wow. Do you know about Modern Orthodoxy? They have different laws about women. You sound like you're just arguing and being one sided instead of hearing my views on things. I had said I was thinking about it before, doesn't mean I will. I just want more structure to it. sweatdrop

I'm a Conservative Sunni Muslim.
And why does the poll have the option of "Muslim" and "Islam"??..They are the same thing.
(LOL....it reminds me when my friend asked me if I was a follower of Muslimism.)
lol sweatdrop

I'm surprized I haven't posted here yet...
I'm what you would call a philosophical or irreligious Taoist, simply meaning that I believe in the philosophies of Taoism without participating in most Taoist practices.

I had a few Jews in at work the other night, they heckled the bartender over G-d knows what and got drunk and played pool and texted on their cellphone. As much as I hate to judge people, if you're wearing kippah and tallis, behave like a Jew. The line between Haredi and centrist is being blurred though. It makes no sense to be an Orthodox Jew if you're not willing to follow Judaism religiously. You should be PROUD to follow all the mitzvah you can, not pick and choose what you want to follow. I would be the happiest girl alive if I was able to observe shabbos as a Jew, observe holidays as a Jew, dress modestly, as a Jewish woman does.
