Amaterasu is compassionate and friendly to all those that are good. She can also be very stubborn. If there’s evil out there, Amaterasu won’t hesitate to step up and fight. Even WITHOUT the Celestial Brush and Divine Instruments, she knows some martial arts skills, along with lunging and biting. If a person is good anyway, but someone Amaterasu doesn’t like, she’ll snarl. Head butting a certain person from behind is not often seen.
Amaterasu is no stranger to food. If someone offers her something to eat, she’ll eat it. She’ll humbly accept any gifts or signs of affection.
History
Amaterasu is mostly known as “The Great Mother Okami Amaterasu.” Non-believers may call her “doggy,” “Snowball,” “Mutt,” or other nicknames.
Amaterasu is the goddess of the sun, according to ancient Japan folklore. In Japanese Mythology, she is a beautiful woman in a kimono, but in the game, she appears as a magnificent white wolf with red markings on her head, and on the sides of her body. Amaterasu can bring out the sun, but she can also do so much more.
Before Japan was called Japan, the country was known as Nippon. 100 years ago, before Amaterasu was around, her ancestor Shiranui had helped a ruthless, brave warrior named Nagi banish an unspeakable evil. This evil was the eight headed serpent, Orochi. Orochi was so bad that any mortal who looked upon him would be cursed.
In the village of Kamiki back then, they lived in fear of the evil Orochi. On a particular night when the moon is full, a black arrow soars and goes into the wall above the door on the home of a beautiful maiden.
Amaterasu’s ancestor, Shiranui, had kept watch over the village, and the people who lived there thought this white wolf was none other than a familiar of Orochi, a beast that would come and size up everyone to make sure everyone was in line. Shiranui had followed the warrior Nagi in which had dressed up in the maiden’s sacrificial robes to rescue the maiden that had sacrificed her own life for the rest of her people.
In the end, Orochi had exhausted Shiranui, which lead to her death. Amaterasu is the very reincarnation of that same wolf, 100 years later. She was revived to bring down Orochi again, and the rest of the evil creatures that were the hellspawn of the Dark Lord, Yami.
On Amaterasu’s journey, she learned the 13 Celestial Brush techniques, all but one from her immortal children. Some examples; there’s a bunny who’s a god of the moon, there’s three monkeys that altogether are gods of anything foral and green, there’s a tiger who’s a god of lightning and thunder, and there’s a yak who’s the god of ice. The Celestial Brush is this gigantic paintbrush in which mortal humans could not see. So, humans and human like creatures cannot see the brush move, but animal creatures (robots are an exception too), and Poncles (will eventually get down to describing Issun) can. Most average people saw Amaterasu as just a wolf with strange markings. Amaterasu more or less acts like an intelligent, domesticated dog. She understands the language of human and animal, but cannot speak in man’s tongue. Wherever she goes, grass grows and flowers bloom. She’s very much connected with mother nature and uses its forces and elements to defend for all that is good in the world.
Learned from the 13 gods, Amaterasu gained back abilities to fly through the air from vines, make the wind blow, sword slash through enemies, boulders and most hard objects, and even slow down time for up to six seconds at least. Besides her godlike powers, there are the Divine Instruments. My most favorite kind of Divine Instrument would be the Rosary Beads. They lash out and rapidly strike down enemies like an energy whip. There’s also the disc shaped ones which can be used as reflectors as much as can be used for just plain old attacking. The third type of Divine Instrument is a glaive, or sword. If held out at an angle, the glaive would power up and unleash a powerful, brutal slash.
You’d be freakin’ amazed at what Amaterasu could do.

History
Born into the mafia, this little one was brought up to be tough in any situation from handling a water gun, nerf gun to the real thing as he got older, as long as it was used to protect his half-brother & boss, Lucifer, it didn't matter what the type, he was determined to be handy with any type of gun.
As a child he hung mostly around his mother, being a big momma's boy, what she say's goes, unless it interfered with protecting Lucifer.
When it comes to his siblings, he doesn't remember many of then except for Lucifer and his little sister, Adelle, which he adores to death. When he see's her he usually perks his ears up with a wagging tail and runs right up to her, lifting her high up in the air for a bit before putting her over his shoulder, tickling her, then toting her around with the biggest grin on his face.
He's usually quite cheerful in any situation, even when being attacked of shot at he has a cheerful disposition. Only when you see that grin turn into a frown or a glare you best keep away from him. When he's serious is when someone is about to be beat to the near end of their life or killed.
He's had it rough and even when other worry about him he put on the biggest grin, only to say it's just a scratch when his injuries look as if they may be fatal. You'll see gun holes in his wings and sword cuts on his face and a huge chunk of his wing sliced off. Even if he can't fly anymore, he doesn't let it get to him, he'll still fight to his best ability. Under his suit he has more wounds than you can imagine and it'll never slow him down.
One wing ripped out and the other half cut off.

Jumpy and scared, This little guy has been through enough. Even though he's safe and sound with Canada, he's still sensitive about everything.
He's very quiet and rather jester than speak to anyone.
