Audrey had stuck her tongue out, good sign. But then she was wiggling away. "Wait, babe. It was only a joke." He didn't know why she had gotten up until she spoke again, her hair falling over her shoulders.
Bare shoulders.
"I uhm.. oh yeah." What appointment? Ah well, she usually kept such things from him.
He shrugged a bit, but his eyes remained on her as she beant over to the drawers.
Really? Really? Her little tease fest earlier wasn't enough? She had to further mess with him?
Jon sat up, watching carefully before shaking his head.
"Do you ... want me to come?" He asked, completely unsure.

Audrey pulled a light, electric blue bra out, and matching panties, and tossed them back onto the back, uncaring as to where they fell beyond that. Yep, still naked as she continued through others. Jean shorts with little hearts on the butt, and a black shirt that fell off one shoulder- both of which also went flying back onto the bed.
It wasn't until she had all that out, that she went back to the bed and, standing in front of it, slipped into her panties, situated and hooked up her bra, and otherwise dressed.
Finally she answered, as she often left him waiting for really little reason.
"Don't you remember? Pap smear" she wrinkled her nose in distaste, "I wouldn't think that would be something you'd want to go to."
Her shirt came on last, and after pulling it over her head she said, "I thought I told you like a week ago?" though her tone left little room for argument, despite the slight question in it.

And down here from the ground, I see who you areKori had no idea how long she lay there, practically unmoving, but she knew it must have been awhile, or guessed anyway. And Jeremiah still wasn't back yet. She didn't know if that was good or bad, but all of a sudden, she didn't feel like being here, in the same huddled spot, when he did get back.
So... she started with getting up, heading over to the dresser... slowly getting clothes out, and changing into something much less elaborate then the dress, but still nice- spaghetti straps and skinny jeans.
She was slow with each movement, distracting herself with rather depressing, self hating thoughts, that always plagued her after such treatments. She just could help it anymore.
If the one she loved most said such things.... who was she to contradict it? Especially when she could see it so plainly herself.
Either way, when it came down to her hair, she only brushed it out, getting any tangles out but nothing else, then- of course, if she planned on going anywhere, she would need a sweater. A dark bruise was already forming on her arm.
Besides, not having a sweater was part of what got her into this situation in the first place.
Pulling it on, she left the house, and, since Miah always had his keys, and got pissed when she left the door unlocked just in case- she locked it on her way out. Where she was going, she had no clue... but eventually her feet were taking her along the familiar path to the nearest book store. Perfect.

Jon just watched as she tossed clothes around. He sat, propped up on his elbows and barely covered, if at all. He was too lazy to grab a blanket.
But finally, she answered him.
Oh.
Oooh..
"Oh right, yeah. No I'll like, sleep or something." He chuckled and moved to the edge of the bed, towards her. "You did?"
Uhh. She didn't sound exactly happy. "Well, baby, you know how forgetful I am," He tried to shrug it off as he stood up beside her and wrapped his arms around her,breathing into her ear.
"Want to go out later? Maybe this time, actually stay out?" He chuckled again.

Yeeeaaahh... Audrey had known that wouldn't sound all that appealing to attend, even waiting outside, which was also just boring. So his answer was expected.
"Sleep?" she raised an eyebrow, "Don't you ever go out? Other then in an attempt to drag me off someplace?" she teased with a roll of her eyes, but also a slight smile. Yep, mood still not totally spoiled.
But then she nodded, "Yes, I'm sure... but that's true, you are" she said with a sigh, meaning it was something she obviously found irritating, sometimes more then others.
Jon had his arms wrapped around her after that though, and she let him for a moment.
"Maybe, if there's time, appointments are never on time, whether they expect you to be there early, or an hour late... maybe dinner..." she said, looking off as if thinking about it.
With that, she pulled away and checked her phone, from her discarded pants, and looked at the time, and then went off into the bathroom to do something about her hair which was all messy now. XXX||X||Audreana||X||Melony||X||Scotts||X||

"You want me to go out? Sure, I'll go out," Where though? When Audrey left him to go somewhere, he usually just relaxed at their place because there was really nothing else to do.
And when she was gone, there was less stress on him to behave and be her perfect.
"I am, I'm sorry," He snuck a kiss on her cheek before she pulled away. "Right, thats up to you." As always. He never really chose what they did, where they went or who they went with.
It was always Audrey's decision. And he was fine with that..Right?
Jon watched her walk off into the bathroom. He went into the living room and turned on the nice-sized television and plopped down on the couch. He covered himself up with a flannel blanket and rested back as he flipped through the channels.

Not even a simple hug?
Ah well. He was used to it.
Jon watched her leave and he stared blankly at the television for about twenty minutes before he slowly sulked into the bedroom. He pulled on some clothes and even put on some cologne.
Usually, he didn't unless he was going out with Audrey. But he decided what the hell right? Might as well. Plus, if he didn't get to run home before he and Audrey went out later, he'd need to smell nice.
Or get bitched out for smelling like a boy. Or trash. Or whatever.
And so, once he looked decent enough he left the house, locking the door on the way out and going down the stairs.
Car gone. Of course.
But he could walk- he was mostly used to it anyway. Many a time had he been left on the side of the road to walk home. Or to the nearest open store, then home.
Couldn't come back after a fight without flowers or something to make it better.. or try to.
But that wasn't the case right now. And he only had few bucks left in his pocket anyway.
Jon had his camera though, not his best one sadly. It was still in the car. But it was something. And as he walked along the streets, he snapped pictures of those passing by. And eventually, he wandered into an old bookstore, after taking a picture of it of course.

And down here from the ground, I see who you areKori had no idea what she wanted to read, what would be right? What would keep her mind off of her life and everything about it?
She liked both fiction and non fiction, but right now, fiction definitely seemed the best way to go. Reality sucked.
So after wondering through a few isles, she picked a random one off of a fiction shelf and made her way back to the front of the store.
There was a nice plushie couch there after all, one she had sat on many a time.
Kori often came here after something bad happened, if she could get away, but she had finished her last book.
The little bell jingled as someone stepped inside, but she only glanced at the man briefly, before averting her eyes to the floor. She hadn't even read yet, and was barely holding back the thoughts that had been going through her head earlier.
But mostly, she just felt numb.
So she sat on the couch and opened her book slowly, trying to focus her eyes on the words on the page, when all she really felt like doing was curling up in a corner and crying silent tears.

Jon walked straight inside, being greeted by the cashier. They were on a first name basis, but not much aside from that.
Actually, Jon didn't have many friends at all. Audrey really didn't like him having a bunch of friends..
And forget it if they had vaginas! He'd be screwed just seen talking to some girl sometimes. Even if it was completely innocent.
His eye caught sight of a girl that was curled up in a chair, reading a book and looking awfully sad.
She was beautiful though.
Gorgeous.
And even though she looked on the vurge of tears... the lighting and backdrop was just so perfect! And the emotion the potential picture held.. it was too hard to pass up on!
Jon impulsivly grabbed the camera from around his neck and turned off the flash before snapping a picture of the girl. He smiled down at the screen and back up at the girl.
But then he blushed, though with his dark complection you couldn't tell. Maybe she hadn't noticed..
Jon turned back to the shelf, pretending to leaf through the books.

Miah had taken the car, beer in hand and drove off towards a bar. He was out of beer at his place, and needed a release now.
He was feeling better, no remorse at all. He was not a guilty person. He had done nothing wrong in his mind. She deserved what she got. She ******** up and the punishment was due. He paid it, she took it.
Thats how he was raised, so dammit why not inforce it onto others?!
Exactly. She had to learn, and this was the only way Kori would get it through her thick skull!
He was starting to feel the beers as he pulled into the lot. It was still early, but he marched right in the doors and automatically demanded a beer. He cracked it open his self, and downed it in minutes.
He was ready to ******** get shitfaced.
Perfect..

And down here from the ground, I see who you areKori was reading so much slower then she liked, but it was hard getting here eyes to focus when she was concentrating so hard on not tearing up. Especially now that there was yet another person in the store.
Plus, she had a throbbing head ache that really didn't help any.
She was on page two when she herd a noise like a snap, but didn't even look up, didn't know what it was anyway.
After another moment or two, Rick, the cashier, spoke up, looking over at her with a sympathetic frown, "Are you alright Kori?"
"Fine" she choked out, not trying for more then that. She preferred not to speak at the moment, silence was much easier.
"It's not the first time you've come in like this, it worries me" he murmured, leaning over the counter a bit to get a good look at her. The couch was only a couple feet from the counter too, so it wasn't hard.
Kori took a deep breath or two and said, softly, but more clearly this time, "Sorry Rick..."
She turned the page, furiously trying to concentrate on the words that flitted about the paper between her fingers.
He was about to say something else when she cut him off, continuing just the same, "I... I just need a good book in a peaceful atmosphere and I will be fine." Well, so much for an attempt at reassurance.
She just hoped the guy that came in wasn't a regular she had missed. The fewer that knew anything was wrong, the better. No one needed to know anything...
Without thinking, Kori rubbed her arm, before turning another page.

Audrey took off in the car, speeding down the street before cutting some d**k off to drive right out onto the main road.
She was at the intersection in minutes and then turned in to the center where her doctor's office was. Yeah, she actually did have an appointment. But she knew he'd take her right away, she just planned to get back later.
See, her fooling around with her doctor a few times might have something to do with either factor.
Anyway, she parked under a shady tree and locked up, keeping it in mind to ask Jon why the hell his door was unlocked when she got back, but for now...
Audrey locked it and walked over to the big building, taking an elevator up to the 5th floor, where she took an immediate right turn, and went in the 2nd door on the left.
Jacob, ehem, "Dr. Rogers" was hurrying passed, about to enter another room when he noticed her and immediately stopped.
"Audrey! Your early" he said with a grin, looking her over. She rolled her eyes at him and said, "Just hurry, I want to get this damned thing over with."
He nodded, "I'll get this last patient out of here, almost done anyway, you can go to the usual room..." he trailed off, because she was already walking away, waving him off, to which he just chuckled. Oh well wasn't he in a good mood for some reason. XXX||X||Audreana||X||Melony||X||Scotts||X||
