"No, I owe a friend a great deal." In all truth Ander owed a great deal to Riot for not only saving half of the former Chimera Gang, but allowing him to come back after what had happened. Ander's eyes widened a bit. She was pretty good at that assumption. "Hmm." He looked over at the Gryphon ZOID than back at Marcia. The lenses on his eye patch clicked a few times as they rotated. "That ZOID is slightly wild and belongs to someone probably just as wild as he is... It would be in your best interest to stay away from that one. It looks unfriendly to outsiders."

"I see" she said perusing no further on that subject. Marcia glanced back to the gryphon. "It does seem that way doesn't it." she said taking another look. "But don't you think the pilot and the Zoid match well then?" Well she couldn't get too close but it wouldn't hurt to take a mental picture or two so long as she stayed far enough away. "Thank you for the warning."

Hugo finished another mouthful in silence. His eyes never left Riot's. The man wasn't easy to figure out. Even in the village, they'd hesitate to welcome in a stranger- much less feed one. His men didn't seem overly-loyal either. They knew their place, obviously, but it seemed to be more the way wolves kept the order. The strongest stood as the alpha, all others took their rankings under the alpha through force. Then again- it was his first time among the bandits.

"That's what Kaspar said." He answered after a heavy swallow. "You can teach me to ride him, right? To fight? I've seen what they can do."

"Of course they do. ZOIDS seem to be connected to their pilots in a way. Sharing a personality with those they are close with. So few get to experience this." He kept an eye on Marcia as he spoke. "Now, is there any other busyness you have with me?" He waited for an answer, arms still folded across his chest. With his positive chi in distress, he was still dwelling on the previous situation.

Standing up from his seat, Blade looked around at the other thieves and bandits in the area. He was never really one to collaborate with others a whole lot, aside whenever a group or individual needed an extra hand. Quite frankly, he didn't really want do drink much while he was there either, knowing that a few things could happen should he become drunk.

So instead, he wandered over to the outskirts of the camp just to check out the gryphon Zoid. Having never really seen one like it before, curiosity had struck and he just wanted a closer look at it. Though, he was careful and slow with his approach, just in case the gryphon didn't want to deal with any strangers for the time being.

"No, So I'll leave you and you're camp," she gave a parting bow and left. She made her way toward the Gryphon Zoid to get a better look at it. Certainly something to take note of.. just in case.

Fubar hadn't moved an inch since his 'rider' had moved into the camp. Aside from the continual bobbing of his head or the occasional flexing of his large mechanical talons, in the dark of night, the gryphon might have passed for a large stone.

Movement caught his attention. Something moved its way closer towards him- or rather someone. The zoid snapped its large head downwards as large plated feathers rose up around its head and neck. It offered a whirling hiss in warning.

Ander's brow quirked at her response.

"Until next time than." He returned the bow as he spoke. When She was gone he walked onto the flat boulder and took a seat. Legs cris-crossed as he begun his much needed meditation.

"Easy boy..." uttered Blade, stopping as the gryphon hissed at him, "I just wanted a better look at you, is all. I won't come any closer if you want."

It wasn't too easy to see in the darkness, but he was still able to see the zoid fairly well. A number of things began to pop into his head; what were the abilities of the zoid? Could it really fly, or could it just glide and hover for the most part? H

Riot raised a eyebrow at the boy's continuous gaze on him.

"I could..." Riot spoke leaning more on the table. His bare elbows rested on the wood as he leaned forward looking at Hugo with his own curious gaze. The boy was strange to put it lightly, he didn't even seem to know much about Zoids aside from that they can destroy things

"But what would I get out of it?"
Riot asked after a moment of study leaning back to his weak chair. His black boot finding the edge of the table.

"There is a lot of time to be put in such training...and not to mention costs." The bandit went on with a smirk, musing the idea.

The gryphon didn't appreciate the inspection, harmless as it was. Its metalic hackles lifted up off its body as it gave a louder, more demanding hiss. The gryphon's hind quarters slowly lifted off the ground as he rose to a stand.

Hugo's expression darkened... chivalry didn't seem to be a common gesture among the people here... or anywhere he'd been for that matter. It was always about them, what they could gain.

The boy slowly looked over himself. He didn't have anything of value. A kitchen knife that the man had openly mocked earlier- obviously it had no value in his eyes. Aside from that, the boy was dressed in over-sized clothing he had taken before leaving Kaspar's home.

"...I don't have too much to offer." He looked back up to the man. "I can...assist you here. I can work."

The blue eyes of the bandit show a glint of a amusement as they watched Hugo's own darken. His daredevil smile slid more across his lips as he could only wonder all that things the boy thought about him. It could taunt his mind, all the dastardly Assumptions...he oh-so-loved it.

He couldn't help but wonder what his good o' second in command had all told Hugo what to expect. That thought made him chuckle a little to himself.

"work, heh?" Riot huffed a arrogant laugh, that priceless smirk still on his lips. It was almost as if that comment didn't mean anything of 'value'. But it was a hell of a lot of something, compared to what some of the slobs offe.

The pirates finger's found the tip of his hotpink goatee as he pounder for a moment still watching the boy and wondered what to do with the offer...

It was obvious that boy didn't have anything, but a Zoid that he he knew 'nothing' about it seemed. It would take a great deal of training and precious of all...time.

It seemed had nothing, no family and even no knowledge of this 'new' would to him...

And he was going to run off and find the Judge regardless-espically if he turned him down.

"Tell you what." Riot final spoke in a sigh after a quite moment, he let his foot rest to the ground and he pushed from that table and stood.

"I can take you in, show you the 'ropes'." He added looking at Hugo, folding his arms across his chest what the kid. His head moved a little with the words, His grin replaced it's self.

"Hell, I'll even give you something to wear, feed you and teach you how to pilot that 'Bird' of yours" Riot continued, his smirk remained, he threw his thumb to the side and pointed to the direction of where his Zoid was at...

"But as with everything in this world there is another side to the coin." He added, the payment.

"Two things actually," He changed his hand to gesture 'two' to him in finger count.

Ander looked up from his meditation with a frown. He could hear that bird ZOID starting to get restless off in the distance. With a roll of his eyes and a half roll of his head he rest his chin on his fist, and his elbow on his knee.
He should have known better... Rogue parties were no place to -quietly- work on broken Chi. His finger begun to tap on his knee rapidly as he thought of a solution. It would be bad to just run away from the idiot boy... He had seen what the monster could do, and this little boy was running into the mouth of death, blindly.

The thought itself was irritating.

"Bah!" Ander growled as he slapped his knee and rose to his feet. As he straightened his posture the lenses on the eyepatch begun to rotate. Saga was trying to send him some information.

".....hmn?" His arms folded across his chest as he looked in the direction Saga had quietly radioed to him.

Without a second glance back to the rogue camp Ander took off heading away from the camp and to a meeting point with Saga. It would look as if the man disappeared into the sands as he entered the cockpit of his mysterious Zoid. It was still a wonder to the other rogues how he managed to do that without getting sand in the cockpit. He would never tell...

As he moved toward the location Saga noted the sands would look like the ocean surface before calming down again and masking the location of the zoid.

The man's calculating look did very little to settle the boy's nerves. Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea... Then again- a quick death at the hand of a bandit was an improvement over a slow one in the middle of the desert with only a mechanical creature to mourn him. Still...he rather liked being alive.

His turquoise eyes followed the man's every movements, much in the nature of a wary hawk. If he physically had hackles, they would have risen by then.

What more could he want? He had nothing but what he carried on his back- besides Fubar. Even if he wanted to give the Zoid up- Fubar had a mind of his own. Hence his ownership of the gryphon Zoid.

"Go on." Hugo answered, cautiously.

"I expect this 'work' that you offer." Riot spoke cocking his head to one side he took back his arm.

"and now this is the important one,"
The man added, he paused for a moment and his relaxe gaze focused. A seriousness feel upon Hugo

"this Judge, you wish to find and kill. You can't so much as hunt the creature till you defeat, or kill me in battle." The rouge added firmly, his arms crossed he didn't look to some much as budge on the set offer.
