"No, I don't mind telling you." Was all Ashton said in reply, grinning. She loved playing these kinds of mind games with people. It was a test to see how many questions she would have to answer before the person actually got to the point--a test to see how smart they were.

Ashton laughed, amused that she had puzzled a vampire--one of the elite race. "I warped your shadow around you, constraining you," she said, letting the shadow go back to its original state.

Ashton quickly side-stepped him and then once again imprisoned him in his own shadow, just to make sure she was safe. "Bipolar much?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Izzy awoke from her small nap in the courtyard, spotting her sister who stared off into the abyss as usual. "They don't like the rain Izzy." Izzo said looking over to her sister. "Why is that?" Izzy shrugged. "I do not know. Perhaps it's because they are afraid of geting wet." It was amazing just how one would say something strange, but no one knew what they were talking about except the other. The girls had once lived with a crazed vampire who could see the future and had 'pixies' in her head who whispered things to her, but the girls never believed it and acted as if they did.
