well, I'm a soprano, so we get to sing like...the highest parts, or the melody when needed. Otherwise, we sing the top-most parts and harmony on "Scaramouche, Scaramouche..." and "Very very fright'ning me, Galileo...Galileo.." Y'know, the highest part on that...and um...."Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me"...the very highest parts. *gag* Sometimes it kills our vocal cords. xp

Oh I see, I guess that is sort of falsetto(sp?) I'm asking because I think I might be able to convince our Choir teacher to let us sing it. I'm a bass, myself.

Like the amazing "For MEEEEEE" part that I totally can't sing! Heehee, that would be fun.
My real dream is for our drama department to do Spamalot as the spring musical, but it's going to be years before that's even possible at all. Considering it hasn't even toured yet. And our school is pretty lame, so.. no chance of that. But still. It would be beautiful. heart

Oh, but that would be incredible. My dream, however, would be for the orchestra, band, and choir at our scool to come together to perform "Insanity."

Heh heh heh. Oh what I would give for us to do that. Even if I didn't get to do Danny's part. Wow, even the idea of our school being cool enough to CONSIDER it makes me smile! Alas, even the consideration would never happen.

Yeah, my middle school teacher wouldn't even let us sing Little Shop of Horrors. She loved that I wanted to sing it, though. whee
I don't know, I don't think a school would be able to pull off Insanity, no matter how good the choirs/orchestra/band are. confused

I think that in order for it to be good it would HAVE to...well...be Oingo Boingo.
