Tawa'di glanced up to see Binti approaching his way. Amused, he let a little of the trance slip off, enough to offer her a nod and a wide smile. "What are you doing here?" he asked, amused. "You've already been accepted, and I know where your heart lies. You don't need to offer me anything to confirm it." He tapped his paw to his mind. "I've got all the proof I need right here."
He was pleased to see her here, though. With so many strangers around her, and so much activity, she seemed to fit into it so well. Ama must be proud of her, along with Us'kali's children she had raised.

Aw yeeeeeeah! It was his turn! Unas'tisgi took a deep breath, telling himself to stay focused. He was the best! He had made this journey by his own two paws, fighting off rogues before valiently racing faster than the wind when their fellow pride members chased after him! He caught the best of prey and let those unsatisfactory to him go! He was Unas'tisgi, and they should feel honored that the best of the best of lions was joining THEIR pride!
Unas'tisgi arched his neck and took measured steps, projecting an image of wise, strong, and -- "Achoo!"
Startled by his own sneeze, he froze and shook his head, feeling mortified. He sneezed. Did any other lion do that? Here? In front of the elder? What were they all going to say about him now?!
Now feeling foolish, Unas'tisgi quickly tried to come up with a way to redeem himself. Could he... offer a fang to the elder? Did anyone else did that? After all, he did have a mouth full of them, but how would he get it out? Wait. Come to think about it, that was a rather stupid idea. Unas'tisgi spared a glance towards the lions and lionesses waiting for their turn. Did he want to be remembered as that one lion that hit his head on the tree 'til a fang popped out? Noooo.
He was startled when the lion before him moved, giving him a direct route to the elder. He quickly ran his tongue along his fangs, checking to see if any were loose. No? Damn. It was now or never, no chance to delay any longer. Unas'tisgi cleared his throat and held his head up, moving with a projected purpose towards the elder as if the embarassing sneeze never occured. "I am called Unas'tisgi," he announced, reaching up with a paw to scratch at his mane and offer a tuft of the dark brown fur. "I wish to seek which path I shall tred."

Tawa'di binked when he heard the sneeze, quite surprised. He wondered if he had put a little too many herbs into his pile, and that was where the sneeze had developed from. Continuing on as the last lion passed to find their Clanmates, he looked up to see the guilty party of the sneeze. Well.
He motioned the lion close for a moment, taking the bit of fur and dropping it into the flame. He watched it carefully, seeing not quite a tale, but certainly bits about this lion that were quite amusing. Even still, he would be another able body to help if anyone every needed it.
"Unas'tisgi, you're heart seems intent on the Mantis Clan. You will help strengthen their numbers, feed the hungry, and entertain those when they need it."

Hanaa blinked rapidly in embarrassment at the startled face of the elder, feeling like a cub caught being foolish. She murmured soft apologies for her abruptness, her tail curling around her back paws as she sidled back.
Earth Clan... the name held a feeling of weight in the lioness's mind as she turned to move out of the way of others eager to find their places. She felt strangely light, and yet grounded at the same time. Pausing a moment, she stared at her paws as they moved on the earth, feeling it between the pads. Earth... what would the new clan hold for her? Hopefully, new friends at least. It was too much to hope for a family, especially since no family would be a family if Pacha was missing from it.
Still, it was a start and a step in the right directiong. At the end, she hoped to find herself, more than anything. A self she only hoped to be one day.

They were excited to say it in the least, weakestway possible though they contained their exctiement behind noble smiling faces. Their eyes were lit with hope and light of future days here in their home being part of the Mantis clan and they were happy.
Murasame and Tearh continued to watch others come and gather and be parted into different clans, but no matter the physical separation of clan places they knew in their hearts everyone here was one, linked by a small thread of family and friends.
Their new life started now.

She listened carefully, watching intently as Tawa'di brushed her small offering into the fire. The plume of smoke swirled, wisping about as the Elder seemed to fall into a contemplative state. Kisiri'ruia awed as she swallowed, her very heart felt as if it was in her throat as anticipation all but swelled inside of her. For a moment her mind seemed to think back to everything that had brought her here to his very moment, to be able to stand before Tawa'di and being given a clan of which she would forever belong to. As he spoke, Kisiri perked her ears upwards attentively and gasped slightly. It seemed to catch her off guard that he could read her so well but perhaps that was the way in which Seer's worked. Never before had she come across one but this was certainly a treat in itself.
As he mentioned confidence Kisiri chuckled somewhat sheepishly. Yes, she was confident but, at the same time, she was somewhat nervous but as she stood before him she felt as if everything was falling into place and life had guided her here.
She was meant to be here.
Just as his lips spoke of her clan Kisiri'ruia felt as if her heart stopped. The Earth clan, that was where she and her heart belonged. An unexplainable feeling stirred inside of her as she exhaled softly, in happiness and shock to finally know the place of which she would call her own. "The Earth clan," she repeated, whispering to herself as she simply couldn't stop from smiling. It was infectious and her smile only continued to broaden as she looked up into the older males eyes. "Thank you." It was short, simple but she meant it with the deepest sincerity while it seemed her loss for words had rendered her still in awe.
Stepping away the young adult took her spot once again amongst the crowd as a spectator. Her new destiny was set and Kirisi'ruia was truly prepared.

Akea felt as if he was waiting on edge as his heart was suspended within his chest and feeling weightless- sent a flutter with a rush of emotions and thoughts as his eyes watched the fire quickly lick and consume their offering, burning as its plume of spoke seemed to entwine together. The lion pursed his lips as he flicked an ear, glancing beside him towards his accomplice with a rather perplexed expression. Matokeo's quick glance and slight shrug of his shoulders only clarified that the both of them weren't sure as to what the smokes sign meant but, for now, they only hoped it was for the best. Certainly the spirits couldn't lead one astray and both lion and maned wolf knew that the Elder before them, Tawa'di, was someone who could read each individuals heart and align them to the pride where they belonged.
Just as the Elder began to speak the younger male felt his very chest tighten as he inhaled a deep breath. It was exciting, truly, but his nervousness seemed to jostle him just a bit but it seemed the weight of fear was all but lifted from their shoulders as it was voiced that they woul not be separated but remain together and would continue. Akea couldn't help but exhale deeply as his head hung down low, a broad grin stretching across his maw. Somehow he felt lighter- it was strange but the sensation was all but welcomed! Slowly rising his head upwards Akea'kija dipped his head once more in respect as he turned his head towards Matokeo with his maw ajar and head fervently nodding.
He was excited.
The maned wolf grinned just as broadly and swayed his tail. The sky clan! He was amped! Although wouldn't it have been irony if they had been destined for the Wolf clan? Matoeko chuckled to himself and, likewise, bowed his head towards the Elder before he laughed.
"We won't let you down! We'll be lions, and wolves, of the sky. Just you see!" Minus the wing factor and actually being able to roam through the skies, both Matokeo and Akea'kija would not only find their new life but they were soon to start a new adventure.

Paka could not believe she was finally here in the home of her ancestors. The trip had been long and hard but well worth it. She wished Umeme could have been here to see this being as she would never had finished the journey without him. She hoped one day their paths would cross again.
She knew she was now ready though to rejoin her family. She watched from her position at the back of the crowd; waiting for a chance to step forward and take her place within the pride. The aroma and tone of this festival was exhilarating and fulfilling. The lions in front of her shifted and moved gradually towards a fire and a great lion covered completely in tattoos. The one in front of her stepped forward and received their place, leaving a gap in the crowd and a path for her to follow.
Seizing the opportunity, she silently came forward and stood in front of Tawa'di. She swiped her paw through her coat and came away with a small tuft of fur. She passed it to him and said, "My name is Paka'Eusi Kibibi'Bovu, the lost daughter of Bawa’dahabu and Awinita Kibibi'Bovu. I am here to rejoin my family."

This gathering was peaceful, delightfully so, and everyone appeared so grave and happy. Saka'am put on her most solemn of faces, but couldn't help but stare excitedly at those around her- most specifically, those already clanned up. A lot for the Earth Clan she mused, the idea of romances and trysts happening just outside of this ceremony playing through her mind. It was all very beautiful, and Saka'am couldn't wait for her turn to belong. It was strange- being a rogue for so many years had been hard for this lioness, and she had only wanted to be accepted by a pride for obvious safety reasons. But now being here, and being accepted by this clan of beautiful lions, with their grave faces and storyfilled bodies, Saka'am was full to the brim with happiness. They were lovely lions, from the very brief meetings Saka'am had had, and to be one with them was her fervent wish.
Stepping up the the elder, Saka'am threw a tuft of her own fur on the flames; taking fur from someone else seemed far too impersonal to Saka'am- though Saka'am had to admit that she had not been any situations lately to merit fur from another lion.
Staring up at the great elder, Saka'am looked at him questionably. I wonder who his mate is, he looks like a kind, gentle soul Saka'am tried to derail this train of thought, but she could not help herself, If he is without a mate I should find one for him! No one should have to be alone

Home...belonging...Zia hadn't thought she'd ever find it in a pride. In a group of lions that wasn't related to her by blood. But she'd found it, in this place that felt much the same way she did about the world around her. And yet...she still had her family. Mai at her side, and the rest vowing to visit. Even 'Papa Kono'. The tan and green lioness smiled broadly and nodded to her sister, then trotted up with a bit of fur from her tail in her mouth. Bowing slightly, she offered the fur to the elder, waiting to see where she and her sister would end up. "I am Zi'athari, and I seek my home within my home."

Throughout her short life, the young lioness had only known one home and one family. Her mother had did the best she had known. Mia had never thought to think otherwise. But there had always seemed to be something more to the world than just her brother and sisters, mother, and Kono her ratel nanny. Mother had never really spoken of father, as if he were no more than a passing season sweeping over the Savannah to let it become anew. Somewhere deep within her heart there was the beating of something unknown, begging her to find a way to sooth it's heavy song.
So, adventurous and curious, Mai had set out with her sister, Zia, in hopes of discovering a larger world. For Mai, it was to be a journey of self discovery, and a search to find something greater than herself to believe in.
The young lioness could not help but to smile as her sister approached the Tawa'di, laying down her offering. The whole process still left Mai in a sense of awe. When it was her own turn, she approached the other gracefully. With almost a low bow before the elder she laid a small tuft of her tail at the others feet. “My name is Miasha'Kiwanza.” May I find peace in the smoke, she thought silently to herself. The young lioness hoped that that small bit of fur, covered in the dust of her homeland, would be enough for the spirits to find her spirit and bind it to a new home.
((Hope it's ok. ><))

(( I'd like for her to be rolled for please, since you said I could choose. ^^ ))
Mileli had a soft smile on her face as she watched the Tree Ceremony go on. Despite the gentle look on her face, her eyes were wide with amazement as she watched the dancing flames. How did Tawa'di know where each lion was destined to go? It was so mysterious and exciting! She couldn't wait until it was her turn to stand before the wise old lion.
When it was her turn, she bowed low towards Tawa'di. "This is all so wonderful." She said with a smile, before reaching up to retrieve a feather that was tucked behind one of her ears. It was her lucky feather, which she had found when she was a cub. It meant a lot to her, as she had had it for almost her whole life. It was time to start a new life though, and it just seemed right for this feather to help her do it.
She placed it delicately on the ground next to Tawa'di. "My name is Mileli. I've come here to rest my wings, and to call this place my home."

Makovu was nervous. Shifting his weight from paw to paw, he gazed around anxiously, looking curiously at the others waiting in line. They were all here for one reason: to become a part of something greater than the individual, a pride. It wasn't like him to feel so nervous, but Kovu couldn't help it. He had to wonder if he was doing the right thing. He wasn't completely sure, but in his heart, he felt he was on the right path.
It had taken a long time, but he'd managed to achieve his goal. Now that it was complete, he felt a little lost. The anger that had driven him for so long was gone, replaced with a strangely mellow emptiness. He'd decided he needed to find a new goal and after a great deal of thought, he'd come to the conclusion that he needed to find his purpose. He had to be able to convince himself that his mother had not suffered for nothing and he would do so by becoming a part of a pride and by doing something great for the world.
The line had moved forward quickly and soon it was Kovu's turn. Taking a deep breath, the darkly scarred adolescent lion moved forward and took his place in front of Tawa'di. He bowed his head in respect for the older lion and met his gaze somberly.
"I am Makovu, and I would like to know where I belong."

Binti grinned more fully, bowing her head slightly before moving to the side, to allow the next lion to be assigned a clan. "I figured it could do no harm...and it brings a sense of closure to my being a rogue," she spoke quietly, just loud enough for Tawa'di to hear, before taking a place alongside those who'd gone before her, content to observe the rest of the ceremony, and continue to keep a watchful eye about.
