Aeryn yelped and when things stopped falling she looked over the edge. "Wh-wh-who's there?" She stood up slowly and saw Hawk. "Are you alright?"

Hawk studied her for a moment, peeling his lips back in a feral snarl.. his fangs slideing into view in his uncertainy. but he didnt move, didnt flick a feather as the girl moved a bit closer. he couldnt kill humans.. and truthfuly he didnt like to. they were, as Banshi had said, cousins to his race.. relaxing slightly he tucked his good wing against his back, the other held carfuly to help mend the break. " fine."

She walked up slowly, keeping her hands in veiw so he wouldn't think she would attack. She looked the wing over before picking up what he had to fix it did it for him. When she was done she moved away and leaned agenst a big stone. "Your welcome." She smiled softly and turned to leave him be.

thrown off kilter he snapped his other wing out, curling it infront of her to block her way as he demanded. " you helped me.. why?" it was his nature to be suspicious, and humans had only ever feared him.. certainly never helped him unless they were ordered to.

" the guardian." he said simply, still studying her carfuly for any trickery. his wing slid against his side again and he flexed the other, a quiet pop sounding as it folded and slid against his back as well. " what are you?" her scent said human, but he still couldnt accept a human would help him.

"Just a lonely girl, giving my savyors some space for now." She looked down and sighed softly. "Is there anything else you wish to know of me? I am alone, 16 and a thief. I stole nothing from you, you can even check me if you wish. I don't steal things from people in need, not my way."

for a few moments he didnt say anything, simply studying the girl quietly before he offered her a hand. " i wish to thank you.. do have a place you need to go?" he didnt reach out to others, ever. but this was the one time he was different. she had helped him, when she held no gain from it.. it was alien to him and he wanted to puzzle it out. he hesitated, openly struggling as he murmered. " i am Hawk.. and i swear i will not harm you."

Jonas, being sent on a mission to re-explore the Ruins, decided to take a break by the old fountain. "Its funny to think that even this place has not changed in 200 plus years."

Phantom wandered into the ruins, looking a little worried. She saw Jonas and stiffened slightly. "Hi Jonas, have you seen Edward lately?"

Jonas stood. "Hello Phantom. No I haven't, at least not recently. Last place I seen him was walking out of the Hallow with our daughter, towards Basil. I sent Brannon to go and find them, but all three have yet to return."
