((Sorry I'm taking so long to reply; I'm just trying to sort something out ^^))

"You haven't? That's okay, it's easy enough to get one," said Lily kindly, as she watched Anduril hastily snatch up his Ocarina. "There's a desk over there with a lady sat behind it, she'll ask you which room you want and which are available." She held out her arm to prevent the elevator doors sliding shut, and her eyes fell to the Ocarina clutched once more in Anduril's hand.

Everyone's so young here... I'd better not ask questions, it's not polite...

Trying not to stare at the instrument, Lily pointed across the hall at the office and smiled reassuringly. "See? Just there. Maybe you'll be in the room next to me!"

"Thanks," Anduril said before he went to the desk. After a couple of minutes he had his room key and was walking back to the elevator.

Therunaway watched Maelioyx go up the stairs with a sinking feeling in his heart. How silly of him to assume that demons would be any kinder here than at home. Sometimes he felt that there was some sort of cosmic mix-up when he was born, so that a sweet little human that was supposed to be an angel got trapped in the body of a demon. He wasn't actually all that far from the truth, though he would never know it and it didn't matter much anyway.

Wistfully he looked to the other side, it was beautiful, and not in a "the grass is greener" sort of way. It was more a matter that there was grass in the first place. Entranced, he drifted forward, drawing back just before the edge. Was it safe? Was it okay? Would he get in trouble? Once again his mind filled with the turbulent clouds of self doubt until something caught his eye.

Demons. Two of them. They were crossing, so it must be all right. And plus a friend or two wouldn't hurt, especially in such a wretched place.

He drifted to the other side, not bothered in the slightest by the sun. His heavy cloak and mask shielded him from any kind of light and even if he didn't have them he was too minor a demon to mind anyway. So he happily glided along towards the pair, his pitchfork bobbing along merrily as he went. He wandered up to them and presented a hand in the same gesture of goodwill he used for Maelioyx.

"Hello. My name is Therunaway. I'm new here. What's your name?"

"That's okay!" Lily called after Anduril as he sauntered away to the office desk. A faint sense of pride rose inside her; it felt wonderful to help him out.

I guess things are going to be all right after all...

Elated, she turned to Senri, and flashed him her widest grin yet.

"What about you, Senri? You coming up?"

Anduril entered the elevator and stood in the corner while waiting for Senri to get on.

Don't pretend you know me.

((I know, right? I don't draw them, though. I wish I did. It's really good art...>.>))

Senri watched for a few minute-like measures of time as Lily gave the mysterious boy directions, and started when she addressed him again. "Yeah! I wanna go explorin', so I should see the other side of the school, right?" He grinned like he usually did, and stepped into the elevator. His wings folded in slightly because of how little space there was. He couldn't have his normal wingspan out, after all. His wings would get dented and stuff. Plus, they would rub over people, and that was annoying. He didn't want to annoy people.

~!~

Marta opened her door with a groan. She'd fallen asleep. Why had she fallen asleep?! She hadn't been really tired. Sure, she had been bored, and her arms ached from carrying around her bag and Senri's bag, but she hadn't been tired. Was she spontaneously collapsing from some subconscious form of exhaustion caused by traveling with Senri for the past 500 years or so? Wait, how long had she been traveling with Senri, anyway? It was back when people believed in witches and demons, that much she knew, so around the thirteenth, fourteenth, or fifteenth century. Wait, the thirteenth century was actually the 1200's, right? Someone needed to fix all that...

Marta, in her usual 'I-just-got-up' manner of thought, was quickly switching tracks for her train of thought. Eventually she was going to de-rail it and fling herself onto the mental rocks of insanity. And on her way there, she'd smack into the tree branches of 'social difficulty', 'eccentricity', and possibly even 'tough times'. You know. Those sorts of things. Happy happy joy joy.

Marta, grumbling, attempted to return into her room, walked into a lamp, a few people, and the door frame before she found her door, which she smacked her head on. Maybe she shouldn't go into her room. There were several things in there that she could trip over, stub her toes on, walk into, bash her head in with, and fall on top of. Maybe she'd wait until she was less drugged up with Melatonin. If only Senri was there. He knew how to wake her up. Mostly by saying she was brought up as a spoiled little rich girl. Which made her want to hurl him into a tree by his ears.

{{lol, you're welcome. that could have been disastrous if it was forgotten >.<

Oh, and one more thing, i think you forgot to add me to my dorm. I originally said 1, but seeing as its occupied now, can i get nine? >.> }}

After hearing her suggestion, his face turned a bit redder then normal. Noticing this, he turned his face in a hope she didn't see. "Uh... y-yeah. S-sure. That sounds great right now," he stuttered. He was throughly confused right now, since he never had problems talking to "the ladies" before.

He stood up, stretched a bit, put his "bike-pack" back on, and looked over at Chi. "So. Where's the grub at?" He asked, rubbing his stomach.

((ohh okay. i'll check and update. ^_^ ))

Chi noticed that Orion stuttered a little, then asked where the canteen was. "Well, I think the school's haven't made one yet, but then they're angels and demons here. They could make a floor in just a minute or so." she said, looking upstairs. I bet Seisai doesn't want to look at something this bright, she thought, looking up to the light, where some clouds are somewhat blocking the light. Then, she started walking towards the elevator. She looked at Orion and asked, "Want to come with me to the office to request the canteen?" she said with a grin.

"Oh okay." Seisai replied. She saw Sinaxe's big wings over her. Wow... she thought. Then, when she looked at the bright light from outside the shadow of the wing of Sinaxe, she saw a girl with darkish-brown hair and a guy with a bike-pack on. That's Chi, but who's the other guy? she thought. I don't care, she's the one I'm looking for. then, without thinking, she shouted, "Chi!" the girl looked at them, looking distracted. Maybe they were gonna go somewhere. Seisai thought.

Sarah looked up and towards the light side. How she wished to be over there instead of over here where the clouds blocked the sun. She knew that she couldn't be in the sun...it irritated her skin. With a sigh she looked back down at her paper. What she saw there pleased her. Suddenly it lifted off the paper and floated around her head. "Yay! My own personal sun!"

"That's her, eh? Any clue who the guy with her is? He looks a touch too human to me," The crimson demon said, stalking closer to the pair, though making sure not to lengthen his stride, as that would most likely leave poor Seisai behind, stuck in the light. His tail twitched slowly, his eyes narrow as he stopped, perhaps twenty feet from the pair, and called out, "Oi! You there! You're my friends 'Sis', ain't'ch'ya?"

Sinaxe grinned, revealing a row of sharp whit teeth to the angelic pair, one long-fingered hand wrapping slowly around the hilt of his knife, the other beckoning to the two, "Mind comin' on over here and havin' a chat with me? Promise I won't bite."

From behind him came a voice, and he turned his head, glittering yellow-blue eyes staring down at the tiny creature wrapped in cloak and mask. He let out a low laugh, almost a growl, as he said, "Sinaxe. This is Seisai."

"Sinaxe and Seisai? What lovely names. Uhh...would you be kind enough to tell me what exactly is going on here? I mean, I've never seen a place so...divided."

He waved a hand towards the rift in the sky before remembering that he was near a demon he did not know, one that could quite possibly take that hand off in an instant so he fearfully snatched it down.

Chi heard someone call her and she quickly looked at that direction. Who's this? And I thought that demons can't stand in the light? she thought, then paused for a moment. But then, not every demon is like Seisai, and I know not every angel is like me. Then she replied, "Yeah, you can call me her sister. What do you want with me?" she said it almost too quickly, like she got startled or something. Then, she saw that the demon was reaching for the knife from his pocket. She stayed a little far, nearer to Seisai, but still far from him.

"May I know your name, so I won't be addressing you only as a demon." Chi said, smiling while saying it. Why am I smiling? she thought for a moment.

"Maybe he has some special powers of sort..." Seisai said, still hiding from the light of the sun under Sinaxe's wing. He called out to Chi and she just looked at her and the guy with her. Who's this guy? she thought. Then, Sinaxe called them to go to where they were to have a little chat. She saw from the corner of her eye that Sinaxe was reaching for his knife again. What's he up to now? she thought, feeling a bit nervous and confused.

Seisai looked to the small creature with a mask of two colors, white and black, and said, "Hi. If you want to know why this place is divided..." she looked at the border. "Well, demons and angels still don't get along, even today." She looked down, remembering something from the past. Then she looked at Therun again and added, "Even if some do get along, it's only for a short while. They're lucky if they get along forever." Yeah, lucky. I'm not one of them. Seisai thought, trying to erase the memory from before, when Chi and Seisai were still one.

((Senri must be slightly misplaced. He's been put into the dorm room next to Lily at Olympus, so I assumed his profile had been put into the wrong section and he belonged at this side... You might want to get that changed! >.< ))

As the doors of the elevator began to close, Lily caught a glimpse of some very strange beings gathered in the centre of the foyer. They looked to be discussing something, and one of them seemed to be made of smoke...

The doors slid shut.

Squashed against the wall of the elevator by her suitcases, Lily felt a certain amount of unease as they began to glide majestically skywards. Looking round, she glanced nervously at the magnificent wings of her companions.

They're so beautiful... What MUST they think of me...

Another white feather drifted from her shoulders to the floor. Lily hastily tried to distract their attention.

"So, you're from Abbyssus, huh?" She stared wistfully at the small percentage of Senri's raven plumage that wasn't tucked neatly away. It was still resolutely attached to his shoulders.

Ah, so that's why his wings are black.

"What's it like over there, anyway? Is it any different?" she asked Senri thoughtfully.

Something was causing a commotion in the hallway.

Maelioyx sat up on her bed, her eyes boring the door. She'd been enjoying the most deliciously graphic nightmares, and being woken up by a sharp series of bangs was something she wasn't prepared to accept.

How very tiresome they are here.

Another resounding crash echoed from outside, followed by a short, sharp bump on the next door down. Maelioyx felt a tiny wave of irritation creeping up her spine. Perhaps it was that ghastly cloud she had been pestered by earlier. All the worse for him if it was; she would soon teach him a lesson...

In one fluid motion, Maelioyx swung herself off the bed and flew to the door, which obligingly swung open and slammed against the dorm wall. She was met with a sudden surprise. Instead of the cloud, a tall girl of about fifteen was blearly pottering about the hallway. Scowling, Maelioyx glared intensely at her, and the girl's thought came thick and fast.

Asleep. Bored. Exhaustion. Senri. Travelling. Witches. Century. Fix.

This drowsy being has insufficient control over her own mind, Maelioyx told herself. Her racing thoughts are nonesensical and insignificant, just like everything else that has presented itself to me. The lack of worthy company was beginning to anger her.

"Be quiet," Maelioyx murmured in her darkest voice, floating back into her room. With an almighty bang, the door slammed shut behind her.

Anduril glanced down as the feather floated to the floor. He then brought his Ocarina up to to his face and tryed to decide wether he should play it or not.The others might not like it, and I dont want to annoy them, he thought. But what if they do? The other half of his mind asked. If they dont then they'll just be annoyed. Anduril lowered the Ocarina as he continued to argue with himself.
