She stared at him, placing her hands on her hips.
"Well ya know, I just get a good vibe about you, ok? Plus if you wanted to take advantage of me you would have done it by now. You're way stronger than me." she waved her hand at his silliness, while saying in a more quieter voice "but you're too scared to.."
Pawing her hoof in the ground nervously, she added, "I just like to give people a chance.." her eye's would not look at him.

Well that part was true. If he had wanted her, he would've done that a long time ago. Onisim crossed his arms, "Why would I be scared? Like you said, 'I'm much stronger than you'" he looked away momentarily before looking at her again, "I'm not interested in you alright? I don't need a chance. I don't from bonds with others anymore."

Looking at her nails, blinking her eye's lethargically she shifted her weight.
"A lot of guy's are just insecure. It's understandable."
Little tail flicked, she continued to not look at him.
"..why is that Oni?"
She was genuinely interested, but she didn't want to open any covered scabs.

Just as soon as he said that, he wished he had kept his mouth shut like he usually did. Onisim decided to pretend that he didn't say that and resumed walking whether or not Ilonka followed him. He was extremely annoyed more with himself than at her.
The male carelessly rammed his fist onto a tree, a scowl on his face.

Finally rising her eye's, following him as he moves in a rather tense manner.
Slowly advancing towards him, her eye's brighten up as he demonstrate's his strength. A glimmer of admiration and captivation over coming her.
Residing next to him, she places a delicate hand on his back. Feeling his shoulder blade underneath. She say's nothing, knowing it not to be the time to speak. Nor what to say.

Onisim's back muscles twitched as Ilonka touched him. Grunting, he resumed walking into the cluster of trees, ignoring the female's presence his mind churning with the thoughts of his past.

Following quietly, she rolled her eye's.
What was in the past was in the past. That's how it should be.
One needed to move on from what happend, for them to live in the now.
Not wallow and feel sorry for themselves.
Everyone's got their problems, but they gotta get over them.
Even she had her own past, but she refused to let it affect her future.
Scratching at her ear, she watched his body move as they continued to his humble abode.

They continued to walk in silence, until they reached his home. Opening the door and setting down his axe on its usual spot, he immediately went over to setup the fire refusing to say anything. His back was turned to her as he mindlessly poked at the burning wood in the fireplace lost in his thoughts. His usual stoic face was replaced by a look of absentmindedness, his eyes glazed over.

Entering his house, a musty smell of man washed over Ilonka.
It was comforting, since it was the scent of Oni. Representing strength and power. Her tiny hooves made a tiny clack as she stepped on the floor, looking around his home and noting all of it's contents.
Since she had last been here, it hadn't changed at all.
Only the bare necessities.
As she watched him give life to the fire, it's radiance eluminating his handsome features, she settled herself down tucking her legs underneath herself.
Little tail flicking, she gazed at Oni, tracing about him in silence.
Her own throughts shaping into her mind.

The appearance of Ilonka had made him think again about the past that he closed behind him. Out of the corner of his eye he glanced at Ilonka and realized she actually looked like her. And that suddenly disturbed him. He let out a long sigh, rubbing his temples with his free hand.
He kept poking at the fire with the poker, "We should get supper ready. Anything in mind?" he said without his usual ruggedness.

Combing her finger's through her hair, gathering it into her fist and dropping it to rest on one shoulder she nodded.
Tapping a finger to her chin, she looked to his kitchen, narrowing her eye's.
"Hmm.." Closing them slowly, she invisioned what would be best for such a night and such a circumstance.
Opening them with a flash, she grinned.
"I know what'll rock your world. Shitake mushroom soup!" Her eye's glistened excitedly, as she announced her favorite dish to be dinner.
Her crimson eye's lit as bright as the homely fire.

"....What?" his current thoughts were interrupted by this sudden outburst. "Does that include meat of any type?" Onisim had never even heard a soup of that type before. Whatever it was, it better include meat. He turned his body to face her fully, "What?" he said again.

Her eye's followed along his lovely torso, hungrly.
But she quickly pulled herself away with a little giggle, hoisting herself up with ease and grace.
Trotting to his kitchen, she tapped her chin again, thinking of the requirements for such a dish.
"Well.. you could put meat in it. I guess.. though some consider mushrooms to be a type of meat." she began assembling diffrent bowl's and untensil's to begin her creation.
"Got any Shitake's, Oni?" she asked gayly, turning to Oni, her face beaming.

Onisim moved around, watching Ilonka move to his kitchen. "I don't even know what those look like." he stood up heading for the door, "There are a lot of mushrooms in the forest, I'm sure you can find them." the male opened the door, motioning for her to go through.

Staring hard at him for a good long moment, Ilonka raised a brow.
Placing her hands on her hips, demonstrating attitude, she pursed her lips.
"Just how dumb do you think I am, Oni? You'll just lock me out once I walk out that door. I know your games." she chuckled, waving a finger at him.
"They're pretty abundent around here probably, since this is the woods. They're brown. I'm sure you can find them." she gave him a corny thumbs up, mouth agap in a big grin.
