Tetsunosuke Harasawa
First Division's Lieutenant

◥
The Lieutenant inhaled through his mouth in desperation as he looked around. He was still laying in the snow and held tightly to a clump of it in his hands. His skin had began to pale from the blood lose and cold climate. "Co-cold... heart... what the heck is it talking about. I want-" That's it... Tetsunosuke wanted Sakuzen Kosshi to obey him like a dog. But he wasn't respecting the sword enough to allow him to need it. Tetsunosuke was taken back to when he was still in Shinōreijutsuin, where they told them they needed to respect their Zanpakuto Spirit. Though, Tetsu often forgot about the important things of his Academy days. He sported two holes now, one that hadn't hit any arteries, and the other that had nicked his stomach. The sudden loud sound of steel entering stone rang in Tetsu's ears as his scythe had been thrown at him by his Spirit. "Get it now, Harasawa? Stop d**k'n 'round an' come at me..." The cold voice of Sakuzen Kosshi held a serious tone. Tetsunosuke looked up at the protruding scythe and took a hold of it with a firm grip. He raised himself out of his snowy bed then turned to face it. "Ban-kai..." He huffed the words heavily out of his mouth. Snow was lifted off the ground as Tetsunosuke raised his Reiatsu and accept the cloak that fell on him now. He slowly levitated off the ground while lazily holding the scythe in his right hand. It burrowed itself into the snow the subsided from the flare of Reiatsu. A zombie shark erupted from the snow, intended to bite off Tetsu's, head. With a quick jerk of his right arm, and a shift of position; he levitated backwards and lobbed the shark in two. He Shunpo away as the shark exploded afterward from having it Reishi altered by the Spirit. Seven tapered spikes were lunged at Tetsunosuke; he was able to deflect five of them but the other two entered his chest cavity and left leg. With a Shunpo toward the Spirit, Tetsu removed the spike in his chest during the step and impaled it through the Spirit's neck, next he took the one from his foot and rammed that one through his gut. "So... I guess I shoulda aimed fer ya balls." The spirit laughed as it seemed unaffected by this and head butted Tetsunosuke. His hood fell backward as he gritted his teeth. It felt like whiplash to him after getting hit. Tetsunosuke took his scythe -placing his weight on his right foot in an Air Walk- and brought it forward to slice at it. The spirit took the spike in its throat and reused it to block the attack. It then took and swung its own scythe straight for Tetsu's left side; to this, Tetsunosuke parried with a double gripped Sakuzen Kosshi, followed by another attack meant to cleave the spirit in two. The spirit was able to move far back enough to where it only sliced its chest open.
The spirit threw its hands up and exited bankai. "This is tiring... I quit." It laughed some at the end of its sentence. The snow had started to melt some now, and the moon became visible. Tetsunosuke stopped where he was and dropped his shoulders. "Ya can't be serious..." He smack his head into his hands and rubbed his temples. "Harasawa, you need to start living for yourself... this 'I accept death everyday I wake up', is a crock of BS." The Spirit said to Tetsunosuke. After it finished its last word, it shifted out of bankai; the scythe completely disappearing. "I am totally for yer never back down attitude, but there's a time ta fight, and a time to run. Like when Tsukiko was fighting Dolor alone, you were ordered to retreat; and disobeyed and caused Tsukiko to be distracted in the fight by your insolence. Which could have cost her her life." It verbally lectured Tetsunosuke. Tetsunosuke looked to the side as he was spoke to. Tetsu used Chiyudō #29: Version A - Kagenui on his wounds so they would be closed when he exited bankai, which he did next. His Shihakushō was ripped and tattered all over and showed blood stains on his shitagi and tabi. The Spirit took a leaning spot against a tomb stone while continuing his lecture. "Like Hakase Yuki-san, said. Ya need to move on with life. Iwakuro shouldn't always be your main concern. Ya need to live for yourself some. Or at least that was what I picked up... I wasn't fully payin' attention." It rubbed its bone-y chin with a pondering look. "I understand, Sakuzen Kosshi... I don't need it from you as well. I'll become Rokubantai Taicho and prove myself worthy of the promotion." He spoke with an honest voice and stare. "Gooood. . . hehehe. But don' be so cocky 'bout it." Sakuzen Kosshi was finished with Tetsunosuke for right now, it sent him out of the Zanpakuto world. He inhaled softly as he took, what seemed like, his first real breath in a long while. He started to stretch as if he had just woken up but winced in pain. Tetsu opened his kosode and shitagi to examine the gashes that had appeared while he was fighting Sakuzen Kosshi. The Chiyudō had appeared and was taking effect. Tetsunosuke struggled off the platform and onto the firm ground. He stumbled forward but was able to keep himself from falling. Some beads of sweat had appeared from the blood lost he'd received. His breathing was labored as he took a few more steps and Shunpo to his Lt. quarters.
