Hal smiled a little wider. "Pretty much. Been doing that since the Air Force. Left the Force six years after graduating Pilot school. Found out I could make better money in the private sector. They didn't want me to leave, not after the way I handled my last mission." He chuckled to himself; he missed hanging out and meeting women when he was in space performing his Corps duties.
Joker smiled at the sight of the wink, and said, "Yes, let's. Later, Pseudo-Bats!" Joker walked over to the Smoking section, sat in a chair, and called out to Gossamer, "Hey, Goss, the best seat in the house just opened up!" He patted his own lap as he said that.

"A real Ace, huh? Sounds like fun. Only flying I get to do is free falling." Sapphire said. Actually, she did get to ride in private jets for a while. But...that really wasn't anything to brag about. At least nothing she wanted to brag about.
Gossamer followed him over, then gave him a devious little grin. "Mmm, lucky me." she purred as she gently sat down on his lap.

"Now, I wouldn't go calling myself an Ace," Hal replied, a smile on his face, "They didn't want me to go, partly because of the mission completion, but partly because of how I handled my F-15 suffering a fatal malfunction. Blew a portion of the engine. It lit up like a roman candle."
"You and me both," Joker said to Gossamer, planting a kiss on her cheek. "Do you know, I don't think Pseudo-Batsy there likes me very much." A grin spread across his face.

"Caught fire? Were you scared?" Sapphire asked, almost without thinking of it.
"Oh, he's just being a spoil sport." Gossamer said with a small grin. "I'm sure we could get him to warm up to you."

Terry just rolled his eyes behind the magazine and took another sip of coffee. Honestly. He was still in the room! If they were going to plot, they could at least act like self-respecting villains and go downstairs to do it. The thought made him smile slightly. Self-respecting villain. Joker. Ha.
Supergirl smiled. "I'm sure they are. Let me see... I've got super-strength, superspeed, x-ray vision, heat vision, flight, invulnerability, ice breath... You know, I actually actually forget most of them," she admitted.

Sapphire looked at him a moment with a thoughtful grin. "Should have been? Fearless or just knew what you were doing?"
Gossamer raised her hand, flickers of fire sprang from them a second, then died down, leaving the tips of her fingers frozen over. "Guess we could see which one works better."
Rosie's eyes widened. "That's so cooool..." she said, then turned her attention back to her cookies. "I can only do a few things." The cookies began to glow red. Once the glow faded, on big lumpy cookie remained. "I can fuze stuff together." she said, then started to make the glow around the cookies again, but paused a moment. "Oops, can't really make the cookies back to normal. But I can with other things." she said as she shrugged and took a bite of the giant cookie.

"Fearless," Hal replied, "It's actually why the Ring chose me."
Joker grinned mischeviously. "Maybe later. Right now, I have other ideas." With that, the clown kissed her, partly because he wanted to, and partly because if the Pseudo-Bat was anything like the real Bat-freak, it was going to shock him.

Ring chose him? Well this was starting to sound familiar....at least his power source seemed a bit nicer. Her world's stuff you couldn't tell what you had until there was a bright glow and the next minute you had powers.
The ice around Gossamer's fingertips dissapeared as Joker kissed her. Not the kind of idea she was expecting, but not an idea she minded at all either.

His smile still firmly in place, Hal said, "Well, that's enough about me for now. Maybe, if you ask nicely, I'll tell you more later. But now, let's talk about you. What do YOU do in your free time, Sapphire?"

There was a clear pause in the page turning, that was for sure. Inwardly, Terry wasn't exactly shocked, per say... It was more like a combination of disgusted and extremely annoyed. Here he was, thinking about how much he wanted to be out with Dana, and instead he had to sit here and listen to the Clown Prince of Crime make out with his girlfriend? It was just too screwed up to dwell on.
Kara's eyes widened. "That's really neat!" she told the little girl, grinning at the monster cookie in her hands.

Rosie looked back up at Supergirl and smiled almost proud now. "Really? I can do other stuff!" she said.
The glow returned, this time it was around her. Another small girl with red hair soon split from Rosie and stood beside her. The two looked at each other, then smiled up at Supergirl. "I can make lots of me, then put myself back together." the original said. The other Rosie then walked back into the original, becoming engulfed in the red light.
Once the light was gone, Rosie tried to unfuze a part of the cookie to give to Supergirl. She managed to get what looked like a chocolate chip cookie with frosting on half of it seperated. She looked at it a moment, then smiled a bit and handed it up to her. "Ni pah!"

Rosie giggled, then stopped as she thought of something. "Hey, maybe mommy will let me go home with you! If you want that is. You could show me some of your cool powers, and it could be like my first sleep over.!" she said with a hopeful smile.
