"I thought the whole little arrangement was strange but whatever, you know?" Gaila added before returning to whispering and nodding, "Okay." She stood up straight and waved to the crew then walked off into the elevator, "What floor Lieutenant?"
The doors closed behind Uhura and Gaila instructed the elevator on what level it needed to go.

On the bridge Chekov looked to Sulu with his usual smile, eyes wide, "If dat is de replacement nurse, when are they going to start replacing the rest of the crew?"

Uhura walked out of the elevator and pulled Gaila along. It hd been some time since Uhura had actually sletp in her own room. So it was neat clean, not a thing out of place. Uhura escorted her friend over to the bed, and pulled her down to sit with her. "So what could you want to know about Spock and me?"

Gaila took a seat next to her old friend and tucked her right leg under he, still holding her friend's hands as she sat in front of her, "Of course I want to know how this relationship is going. I know Jim probably could care less about fraternization between crew members, but what about Spock? Is he being a good sport about it all?" She smiled, "Any little Spocks running around yet?" Gaila mocked Spock's face and tone of voice before finishing, "Or is such an assumption illogical?"

Uhura laughed. "Oh god that was great!" the laughing subsided and she smiled evily. "Oh no, no kids, Spock and I have't mentioned ot ANY one about our relationship, it's on the down low." Uhura gave Gaila's hand a squeze. "so please try not to mention it to any one else, I know kirk probably wouldn't care, but it's for the best, we don't act like we even give a care about one another, but we make up for it when we are together alone." Uhura elbowed her friend and did a little eye brow wiggle.

Gaila's eyes widened and her mouth opened in shock, "Oh man! Not something I needed to hear if you wanted me to think of you as innocent, missy!" She giggled and gave her friend a pat on the shoulder, "Relax though, I won't tell." She winked, "but don't go ratting on me if there's some other fraternization on board, I've seen some real men in my six minutes aboard the Enterprise."

Hikaru Sulu let out a small laugh at the Ensign's comment. Although he couldn't argue that he definitely agreed with it. He continued to smile and nodded in agreement, "Maybe next they'll replace you with a nice pair of legs, eh Mr. Chekov?"

That made Uhura laugh. "Please you can't say you have forgotten how we were when we back in the academy, and no worries, I wont tell." Uhura leaned in "You just have to tell me who you get with."

Chekov's eyes widened, "Do you think that dey would do dat, Mr. Sulu?" The young ensign looked around the bridge for any more new faces, "Do you think dis was de keptin's idea? I don't want to be replaced!" He turned back to his duty at the helm, flipped a switch or two and grumbled, "and I think I have nice legs."
Gaila stood, "I'll let you know when I pick one out!" She winked once more, "Now come with me, I gotta find my new doctor, he wasn't in Sick Bay and I'm not sure where to look for him.

Sulu just laughed and shook his head, "I'll bet you do Mr. Chekov. Next time you get a new uniform, make it a Yeoman's uniform, maybe the Captain will appreciate you enough to let you stay until the end of the trip." Sulu then stood, "Well, since we're docked, I'm going to get lunch, join me Mr. Chekov?"

Chekov stood, pulled at the bottom of his shirt and let another crew member jump into his seat almost instantly. Even though they were docked, it was vital to have their seats filled - for some reason.
"Let's find some ladies to join us," Chekov suggested, "we can really enjoy thier company." He walked over to the elevator before turning around and adding, "and their legs."

McCoy had broken away from the party of the Vulcan High Councel and Captain Kirk and was heading back to sick bay when he passed two of the ship's women , and one of them was green. Well that was new. He raised an eyebrow and glanced over until she quickly noticed him back.
"Well I'll be damned, Leonard McCoy! I had no idea you were the Enterprise's chief medical officer!" Gaila smiled and walked over to embrace the man. She pulled away and he still looked rather confused, "Keep up, silly, I'm your new nurse!"
"I thought they were sending me a rookie," McCoy said instead of what would have been normal like "Hi How are you?"
"Starfleet isn't that cruel, Doctor. You should have known they'd be kind to you." Gaila moved her arms down from around his neck to hold his upper arms. She stopped there for a moment to feel them and enjoy that before he spoke again.
"I'm a doctor, not a mind reader." Was McCoy's response.
"Good," Gaila winked, "We wouldn't want to arouse you." She let go of him and walked back to rejoin Uhura, "Well, found my doctor. I think I'll join him for now, I need a little tour of Sick Bay - and he is my boss, now. Alright?"

Sulu let out a hearty laugh and gave Chekov a slap on the shoulder before stepping into the elevator himself. Once they were inside Sulu turned the handle and announced that the two men inside wanted to go to the deck one which the cafeteria was located. When the door opened again, he stepped off and waited for Chekov. He noticed a small group of women passing and watched them walk off. He flicked a thumb in their direction and raised an eyebrow, "How about those legs, Mr. Chekov?"

Chekov shrugged, "Almost as nice as de wemen back in Russia, but I suppose dat beggars can't be choosers." Chekov sped up a bit to catch up to the girls, "Ladies, My friend Hikaru and I were about to go have lunch, would you like to join us?"
The three women turned around and recognized both helmsmen and giggled amongst themselves, "Sure we would." Two of them walked back with Chekov while the third walked away, uninterested.
Chekov offered one of the women an arm, "Shall we?"
She smiled and looped her arm in his, "We shall." As they began walking toward the cafeteria, she looked down and noted, "By the way, you have nice legs."

Uhura smiled and nodded. She thought herself sily, how could she have forgotten Gaila had met McCoy, on that oh so sad of a night. "Well now, have fun you two, but not too much." Uhura winked and walked away. Whay was she so bad when Gaila was around?

The other girl held out her arm to Sulu. "Are you going going to be a gentalmen, or am I going to have to go to Mr.Chekov for that?" The young women smiled and batted her eyelashes.

Gaila was almost shocked by Uhura's comments and behavior but she decided against saying anything and simply laughed, "Silly little communications officer." She sighed and turned up to her new boss, "Well doctor, I'll let you lead the way." She signaled for him to do so.
McCoy simply raised an eyebrow and accepted the leadership position, starting off toward sick bay. Once there, he spoke, stepping out of the way for the woman to step in before him, "You'd better be a damned good nurse, by the way."
"Of course doctor, I'll be the best you've ever had." Gaila walked past him being sure to brush up against him and saw sick bay for the second time, "I see I'm going to be busy on this trip." She picked up a clipboard that had been left on a bed and looked it over, "When was the last time you had a patient, Leonard?"
McCoy simply looked at her with an unamused look and waited for her to correct herself.
She did. Once she saw him Gaila realised what she'd said and giggled, "Sorry, Doctor." She tried to suppress her smile but it wasn't working, "When was the last time you had a patient Doctor?"
"Yesterday," McCoy shook his head but answered the question anyhow. He took a seat at his desk and folded his arms, "The less patients you have the better a job you're doing in the first place."
"Touché," Gaila gave him a small nod and walked over to the shelves to look them over, "Ooh very organized aren't we Le - Doctor?"
"We are?" He looked over to the shelf and shrugged it off, "Maybe Nurse Chapel decided to do you a favor." He stood and came over to see the shelf more closely, standing behind Gaila, "Yep, she must have just done this, I'm certainly not this organized."
Gaila turned around to face him, "That's precisely why you need me here - among other reasons of course." Her smile returned and she walked off to explore the rest of Sick Bay.

Sulu offered up an eyebrow raise with an intrigued smirk before finally offering hooking his arm with the woman's. "I do believe that would be your mistake, unless of course you're interested in a detailed history of Russia."
