Olin was working through his fifth demon when he began to get cocky. Once he put the demon to rest, another came at him and this one mirrored his style of duel-wielding swords. Olin walked straight at it and began a basic strategy with his blades. It would have worked, if the demon was only using one blade.
Once the demon had parried what was supposed to be the final blow, it began working him low. The strikes gradually moved up to Olin's chest, and then higher up. When he couldn't go any higher, the demon dropped to a low crouch and thrust both blades at Olin's ribs.
Olin turned to avoid the strikes, but theblades conected, slicing through the chainmail. In a sudden fit of rage, Olin sliced off the demons head before falling to the ground, bleeding heavily.

Jillian quickly ran and sliced down the demons that attacked him while he recovered from the blow.

Neferous stared at the carnage, getting the feeling it would be bad if he was mistaken as one of the other demons. Suddenly he bolted into a building with a garage. Tearing open the door he charged in, leaving the door and a few of the gang on the ground.

Adalgiso ran after him. "What are you doing?! We need to get to the building!" he yelled.

Olin would not recover without help. He was loosing bleeding profusely and he was beginning to realize what had caused this. He had let himself become a different person and that person was out of control. Because of that, he got sliced down likethe demons he and his companions were hunting.

Arc didn't want to resolve to this. It would only cause more chaos it he showed the demons he was really an angel. But his wings broke out and he flew to Olin picking him up and heading to the spot where Adalgiso stood.

Nef came out of the building, his hand dripping with blood and his face contorted. He approached Adal as Arc did with Olin. "The leader has gone, the rest have surrendered." He said. "Eloi Blaise was here."

Arc's wings were hidden once again. "Eloi? that wretched demon." He looked at Olin and Nef both bleeding. "We need to get you two some healing.

At this point, Olin had passed out from massive blood loss.
Fire all around. No escape. A woman screams. A man is dead. The building is colapsing. The woman is burning, shrieking in agony. There's no way to save her. Finally an escape, but was it worth it?

Jillian ran over. "Jillian, I ordered you to stay behind." sighed Adalgiso, noticing a loose strand of hair. He turned to Nef and Arc. "So, was Eloi leader of the attack, or was he just there?" he asked. "And, sir, (Directed at Arc) can you take Olin to base to patch him up?"
He got the army together, and they all went back to camp.

Arc looked at him. He nodded his head and got Olin back to camp. Where he had someone take care of him in the hospital unit.

Olin woke in a hospital bed with sweat dripping down his face. He had been dreaming of that night. Then... "Demons!" He shot up looking around. "Where are they?" he asked, worried.
It was only then that he noticed his side. He winced in pain and lay back down.

The nurse's assistant walked in (I'll add her in a moment.) and hurriedly grabbed some things to help patch the rest.

Olin finally remembered what happened. The demon had gotten him, but he killed it. That, at least, he could be proud of. He new he shouldn't move too much as he could reopen his wounds.
Why had I gotten so cocky?

Kaitlyn hurriedly rushed around, putting bandages on people and giving out pain medications.
