"Oh.." Hikari thought, a bit sad Hei had to do that again. "Okay then! I'll wait for you here!" she said happily, a smile reappearing on her face. Looking into his eyes as he was into hers, she felt lost in them. A warm reassuring feeling came over her and she laughed, replying to him " But where will you sleep? I don't want to inconvenience you. " She took his other hand, her face a bit worried.

Hei looked down at their hands and let his smile widen a bit. "Alright." He said, chuckling a bit through his toothy smile. He shook his head towards her thoughts of being an inconvenience to him. "No, you're not. I'll sleep on the floor or in the chair. I'm used to that stuff, so don't worry, ok?" He said, interlacing their fingers as he spoke.

"Okay..." Hikari said, her face now brightening up a bit. " Hei....do you HAVE to...do that job? I don't want you to get hurt or anything.. " she asked, her eyes now sad. She leaned in gently and looked a bit closer to his face. Hikari felt insecure and scared that Hei could get seriously injured. And that she wouldn't be there to help him if he did.

Hei chuckled slightly and nodded his head. "I need the money. If you've been watching me, you should know some thugs aren't going to be able to hurt me." He kissed her cheek and stood up. "Since I have my information. I'm going to finish the job now so we can talk tonight. Get some rest, alright?" He smiled brightly and leaned down, tilting his head a bit to kiss her on the lips for a brief second. "I'll be back soon." He stood up and walked over to the door, holding on to the doorknob and looking back at Hikari before he stepped outside.
((Time to put more in from the previous forbidden fruit.))
The innkeeper hissed at him, trying to get his attention. Hei cautiously walked over to him, knowing that in this town, anyone would stab you in the back for some money. The innkeeper told him of the man, the one that had been with the girl. Hei nodded and noticed the man waiting for some kind of tip. "You'll get some more later." The innkeeper scowled for a moment, but the look quickly disappeared when Hei stared back at him. The teen walked away, resting his hand on the pummel of his blade. The innkeeper looked around, making sure no one was coming in or out, then quickly dashed out of the inn.
Hei stepped up to a warehouse full of big, burly men. They glanced over at him, noticing his threatening demeanor, and began laughing. "Listen kid, it might be a bit smart to get out of 'ere." Hei stared at the man that spoke, not lowering his guard or gaze the slightest. The men's faces changed from humor to agitation as he didn't budge. Soon, ten of them had surrounded Hei and grinning down at him. "Bad mistake, kid." One jabbed towards Hei's face. The teenager easily tilted his head to the side, avoiding the hit, then grabbed the man's wrist. "Seems you made the bad mistake, baka!" He swung his arm back, throwing the man into a couple more behind him. Three men threw themselves at Hei, two of which had drawn a sword and were getting ready to strike down at on to Hei's head. Hei moved the hand on his pummel, down to the scabbard, then flicked the hilt with his thumb, knocking the blade out of it's sheath slightly. His other hand reached over and grabbed the hilt. Instantly, the men's swords were cut in half and a cut appeared on their chests and legs.
The cuts were not fatal or that harming, but they would stay down for a while. Only two were left. Hei stuck the katana into the ground and swung his legs out from under him, bringing his feet into one of the man's chest, sending him flying back and into a crate. The remaining man ran toward's Hei, who in turn, pulled the blade from the ground and held it up. The man had enough brains to halt just in time. The tip of Hei's katana was being pushed against his neck, almost breaking the skin. Clapping could be heard from behind as Hei's target showed up. "Nice one, boy. How 'bout joinin' me? You could be one a those personal bodyguards." Hei chuckled to himself and lowered his blade from the thug's throat. He swung his body around and lifted his foot, bringing it in contact with the thug's legs and sending him to the ground. "Neh, being one of your goons doesn't seem so exciting." The boss growled and removed two blades from scabbards on his back. "Alright then, I'll just kill ya!"
The boss ran at Hei, making the boy laugh. Hei simply lifted his hand and snapped his fingers. The boss ignited, quickly being covered in flames. He began to run around screaming. He stopped and focused, then ran towards Hei. "Stubborn old man!" Hei pulled his hand back and formed a dark ball of energy. As the man drew close enough, he pushed his hand in front of him and into the boss' gut. The scene was gruesome at that moment, a hole formed in the man's abdomen. The boss fell backwards and struck the ground with a 'thud'. Hei crouched down and wiped the blood on his blade onto the man's shirt. "Easy pay." Hei sheathed his nihonto and walked away, leaving before anyone came in to see a pile of unconscious bodies, and one dead mob boss.
Hei's initial feeling as he stepped into the inn, was of pure irritation. Five men were standing in front of the counter, glaring towards Hei. The innkeeper was in the center of them and smirking like a damn fool. "You've been a great profit, but you're gonna have ta die now." The men all drew weapons; ranging from daggers to swords. Each one threw themselves at Hei, just to be struck down. Once again, Hei did not kill them, but left them in a state of unconsciousness or immobilization. The innkeeper crawled behind his desk and laughed nervously, now full of fear. Hei stepped up to the counter and grabbed the man's counter, then threw him over the counter, making him strike the ground with a great force. "Wasn't very intelligent, baka..." He kicked the innkeeper in the face and threw him back behind the counter. "Do it again, and I'll kill you." Hei stepped out of the entrance hall and into his room, slamming the door behind him.
He sat down on a chair for a moment, then looked up at Hikari and smiled, glad to have atleast somebody that cared for him.

Hearing the ruckus just outside the door, Hikari worried needlessly. She finally calmed down when Hei came in through doorway. " What happened? " she asked, knowing full well that the job wasn't supposed to have happened inside the inn. She smiled a weak smile back at Hei because he was okay and then returned to her previous question. She flopped onto the bed and then looked back at Hei, making sure that he didn't have any injuries.

Hei wiped some blood from his cheek and rubbed his hand on the chair to hopefully remove the stain. He smiled up at Hikari and stood, walking over the bed and sitting down, facing the wall. "The innkeeper just did something foolish. It's fine though." He smiled slightly and sighed, feeling the day's events take hold of him. He was used to this, so he wasn't that exhausted, but he'd been up for a couple days, so it was to be expected that he'd feel like this.

Kasumi nodded. "I'll be there, even if I have to sneak away. Where will we meet?" she asked.

Hikari frowned, hearing what had happened but noticing Hei feeling a bit tired, she said " Hei....you should lay down on the bed okay? You look really tired! Don't overwork yourself alright? " She got off the bed and tipped Hei slightly over to lay flat on the bed. She pulled the covers up and went to sit down on the chair. Hikari looked over at him warmly and smiled.

Hei smiled over at Hikari. A few seconds later, his eyes started to close and soon, he was fast asleep, mumbling incoherent things in his sleep.((Don't got much right now))

Isamu smiled. "There is an Inn there, called the Death's Door/Peaceful Rest. Kind of morbid, yes, but they have very nice rooms, and are discreet about their clientele. I will be waiting there."

Hei woke up a while later, his eyes gazing up at the ceiling as he started to piece the day's events together. The job had been completed, but there was something else that filled him with warmth. A woman appeared in his mind. "Hikari..." He mumbled before yawning and sitting up, seeing the girl sitting in a chair. He smiled and turned his body, setting his feet on the cold, wooden floor. He set his face in his hands for a moment before looking back up at Hikari again. He walked over to her and dropped to one knee, placing her hand in his as he smiled up at her. "We'll be leaving soon. It's best that we didn't linger around this hellhole." He moved up and kissed her cheek gently for a second. "Alright?"

Hikari had dozed off after Hei fell asleep and was awoken with his talking. "Huh? Oh...okay Hei...one second..." she replied and got up groggily. She rubbed her eyes but it didn't seem to help. She sat back down and leaned against the back of the chair. Her eyes began to close and she managed to utter a few words. " Sorry Hei...I'm sleepy...." Hikari said before she fell asleep again.

Hei smiled warmly, wondering how she was falling asleep like that. She seemed more like the girl that wouldn't be able to fall asleep in such an uncomfortable position. He chuckled a bit and stood, picking Hikari up in his arms as he stood straight. He carried her over to the bed and lied her down, setting the blanket over her. He kissed her forehead before walking away and going into the kitchen, making them a small meal before they would have to leave.

Hikari smiled in her sleep. After about half an hour passed, she awoke, rubbing her eyes. She stood up to find Hei had put her into the bed. Her smile became wider and she went to the restroom to splash water on her face. When she was fully awoken, she smelled the air. A wonderful aroma lingered in the air. Hikari heard her stomach grumble and giggled. She went to the kitchen to find Hei cooking. Creeping in silently, she appeared behind him and covered his eyes saying " Guess who! " and giggled again.
