Haha, when you said you had to give up George and Dom to get Rosto, it sounded like you were talking about trading Pokemon Cards (Or YuGiOh Card, Baseball Cards, or whatever floats your boat).
No one tried to take Neal or Cleon from me, I was/am happy.IDEA!!!! I'm going to make Tortall playing cards!

That's fine you have Briar and I was talking about Jon with Roki. We never hit Emelan. No one ever claimed Tunstall either so if you want him you can have him. Did you think Slapper needed to die? This is just to get us back on topic. If you have a better idea then by all means post it.

I love Jon in Alanna's books, but not as much in Kel's books. I also love Briar Moss. (He kept me reading the Emelan books...well, just Circle of Magic.) But I'm totally fine without them. Translation: They're all yours Suta.
Anyway, predictions of Mastiff: Why do you guys think Beka has to go North? And why does Lady Sabine go with Beka and Tunstall? I don't think she goes just for Tunstall.

I dunno, man. Tunstall would be a perfectly reasonable reason for me.
But where are her lands? Does she have any? She might have a vested interest in why/where they're going.

As far as I know they'll be chasing down the Crown Prince and his kidnappers that would be a reason for Sabine to go as she's a knight he's the crown prince. I have that in the letter to TP I wanna know where fief Macayhill is located as it plays a big part in one of my fics.

And that right there is my issue with Beka. To me, she's the most Mary-sue of all Tammy's characters. Growing up with Lord Provost, being partnered with the best dogs - even though they never had a puppy before, being able to hear spirits, getting assignments that normally go to high level dogs. I feel like she's too naturally gifted. Maybe it's because most of her dog training (pre-puppy) was skipped...i dunno....
Chasing the Crown Prince doesn't seem like Dog work if it's outside of the city.

You make a good point. I hadn't thought of her in that way before. Maybe Tamora will stick her in some awkward and not-totally-flattering situations in Mastiff.
