With Marxx out of the way temporarily, Travis had time to turn his attention to Duane. He quickly ran and bounced off the ropes, hoping to come in and hit Duane with a dropkick as he was trying to pick up the ladder.

Damian Le has come near Marxx. He tries to pick him up to a standing position. If Marxx is able to at least comprehend what Damian is planning, he would know that in order to get closer to the prize, he has to team with an enemy.

Travis now retrieved the ladder. He picked it up, and looked around for a moment. He glanced up at the briefcase hanging from above the ring. That briefcase contained something Travis had always dreamed of. A world title match in GWF, the fed where it all started for Travis. It was here where Nightsky first branched off after the collapse of OECW, and it was here, at Travis' 3rd Anthology match, where he would try and capture that briefcase.
Unfortunately, it was much too soon to even think about retrieving the case. So without another moment of hesitation, Travis ran to the side of the ring and threw the ladder out of the ring at Damian and Marxx!!

Buddy C slowly stood to his feet. Travis had saved him. How should he repay him? He ran at him, attempting a baseball slide right into his ankles once he released the ladder from his hands.

Keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer. He read that once in a fortune cookie and well, Damian's attempt to make a short-term alliance was the best example of that. And the ladder on the head was the best reason to take Aspirins once the match is over.

"Buddy C, you dirty conniving b*****d..."
That was Travis' thought as his legs were suddenly taken out straight from underneath him. He landed hard on the back of his neck, and he rolled onto his side, cupping his arms over the injured area.

Buddy C rose to his feet and looked at Mike Landry. He strutted over there like he was some sort of boss and went to sap him across the back of his head, well he saw on the top rope with his family jewels being crushed.

Buddy C went for the all mighty Randy Orton punt, regardless of how high Landry's head was. If Landry got up any further, hit or miss, he'd slip on his a**.

Seeing as Mike was on the apron the ring ropes provided as buffer between himself and the kick. Nevertheless the kick connected and he was bumped off the apron to the floor below.
