"Pleasure to meet you Mr. Sulu. Perhaps we can continue proper introductions on the ship." she said with a warm smile. Janice nodded at Spock and went to work on the computer, She swayed over to the empty desk and set her laptop down. She hit some keys on her laptop opening a page of coding and blue print of the Ship. she scrunched up her eyebrows at certain things that she saw."Got it!" she said as the sounds of hovering machines started and the emergency lights turned on with a loud clank that echoed the entire room one by one down the hallway. She shook her shoulders slightly as a subtle happy dance. "im going to see if i can pull up a list of events that happened on this ship, just to see if there were any alarms turned on, Fires or floods who knows.." she tapped away at the keys switching her eyes from the keyboard to the screen that casted a blue light to her face. "Interesting.." she said leaning back abit. "Turns out that this ship has only one self defense mechanism, Halon Gas Halon 1301.." she looked over to Spock to see if he had anything to say. She then continued "Halon 1301 is a gas that basically eliminates the air in a room at a rapid rate, its commonly used in fires. Since without Air a fire cant continue burning.." after realizing that she was rambling on she stopped and turned around. "Well, atleast we know there werent any fires, Since the Halon content is still full." she shrugged it off and picked up her laptop. ------------------------------------You Can look, But ya cant touch..------------------------------------

His voice lowered, “ Nyota…I do not want you near the bridge. ” The hand around her shoulders, gave a gentle squeeze, “Please…” Spock was not use to expressing himself, especially out in the open. Taking a deep breath, he slipped from the lieutenant and approached the large cargo bay doors that separated it from the rest of the ship.
“The layout should not be hard to decipher. All cargo bay ships are one and the same.” Starfleet had yet to change in the design in twenty years. Unless of course they have done so while he was aboard the Enterprise. He doubted this since time would not have allowed for a newer model to be shipped out quite so quickly.
Spock eyed Janice, and approved of her handy work. The lights were on, that meant emergency power was as well. “Lieutenant Sulu, you’re with me. The rest of you, aid Doctor McCoy in his endeavors to figure this incident.” He was slightly more careful with his wordings considering how the Doctor had overreacted the last time.
He paused, turning to listen to Janice and her theory of what could have been cause. It was plausible but unlikely. Something else was at work here. His gaze drifted towards Uhura, lingering for a moment longer than he had wanted before he accessed the doors. They opened slowly, and when they were wide enough for a human to fit through, he entered.
“If my memory serves correctly, the bridge will be on level four…” the layout for the cargo bay was much different than a Starfleet ship where as the bridge would be on the top level. “…we are on level one.”

"So much for hands on experience.." she mumbled to herself. Looking around she saw the Dr knelt over taking readings of the body, Didnt seem like he needed help. Her gaze than traveled to the dark Skinned girl who just stood there watching the Dr. And of course her new...friend? Sulu just staring at the other girl. Janice let out a sigh and hopped up and sat on one of the empty desk tops. She crossed her legs and placed the laptop over them. She was going to try to do as much from here as possible. "It would have been nice if they had some sort of Locater chip on them so i can monitor them on my screen.." she thought to herself shaking her head. After tapping a couple of buttons and inputting some general codes, nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. Which was odd, a Ship full of bodies, and not one thing wrong with the ship. she shook her head once more. Something has to be wrong here. Perhaps her laptop wasnt working, but that couldnt be it. Especially since she turned on the emergency lights. With a long quiet sigh janice just sat there swinging her lag back and fourth looking at everyone and checking the screen every now and then. Her neck cracked as she tilted her head on the side. "So..." she started off. ------------------------------------You Can look, But ya cant touch..------------------------------------

Leonard McCoy McCoy was baffled to say in the very least. This was new to him. With over ten years of medical school, you think this would come to him, just like that! Hell, Bones knew there were strange things out in space. Its diseased. His gaze lifted from the body when Spock and Sulu headed out of the cargo bay, most likely to retrieve the data from the bridge. Perhaps it contained the information on what had happened to the crew. He just hoped it wasn’t anything viral. That was the last thing they needed. A new toy for Starfleet to screw around with. Sure, the big boys down back home wanted to keep peace, but they would jump at the chance in gaining a new viral substance. No matter what the year, time, or whatever, mankind was still the same. Bones turned his scanner off at Uhura’s suggestion. “Well, I’m not sure…The bodies are clean…..” his gaze lingered over to another body. “…what the hell….” He hadn’t noticed the wounds before. Well now that he had light, it made a few things crystal clear. Bones knelt down on one knee, and brushed his fingers lightly against the torn flesh. Probably wasn’t wise to be touching it like this, “….something had taken a bite out of his neck…” his gaze shifted to Janice and then Uhura. “I don’t like the look of this.” He reached for his communicator when somewhere behind them a clattering sound echoed. The doctor stood up, turning around. “….you heard that…right?” Sucking in a deep breath, “Uhura…get Scotty on the communicator…tell him to be ready….I might be paranoid, but I sure as hell won’t have any of you ending up like that…” All I have left is my bones..

-S-p-O-c-K- Spock eyed Sulu with some contempt. Perhaps he was a little jealous of Sulu’s lack of courtesy in trying to ask Uhura out. It was not as if he broadcasted his relationship with Nyota around the ship but he had at least hoped for some decency. “That will not be necessary. I assure you…I remember.” Just like an Elephant never forgets, a Vulcan surely won’t either.
He lead the helsmen around for a minute before locating the lift. Spock, without realizing it, shot him a gaze that said, ‘see, I knew, suck it’. Punching in the code, the doors opened with a small swoosh.
“This should not take more than five minutes…that is of course, whoever had done this did not acquire them.” Doubtful but not unlikely.
“Destination?” the computer asked in a chipper voice.
“…Level four.” Spock replied. The lift started up. The indicator of the level on the view screen flashed as they arrived at level two and then it abruptly halted on level three. The doors remained closed.
“…unable to comply.”
Spock arched a brow, “to why are you not able to complete your function?”
“To keep the contamination in secluded area.” The computer responded promptly.
“To what contamination are you referring too?”
“the viral infection. It must be contained and destroyed via the Captain’s orders.”
Spock’s gaze narrowed slightly, “Allow me to speak with your captain, and therefore inform him there is…” he was cut off by the computer’s voice. “Unable to comply. The humanoid Captain is no longer functioning.”
The half-vulcan snapped his attention to Sulu. “I find its time to leave…” they needed to find a way out of the lift, “Lieutenant, I want you to find a way back to level one…I will head to the next level to retrieve the data.”

Janice shot her gaze on McCoy as soon as he said that.. "Aw Crap..." she thought to herself. Not only were things looking bad, but everyone was split up. Janice slid off the desk and placed the laptop on the desk again. With more codes and typing she pulled up the Ships most recent function. "Elevator." she shot out. "They used the elevator." she glanced over to bones to make sure he heard her. "Shouldnt we contact Spock and sulu? Let them know whats going on...Because.. This is seriously looking like some Dawn of the dead s**t.." she said in a serious tone and swooshing her arm to the side. ------------------------------------You Can look, But ya cant touch..------------------------------------

The urge to Vulcan nerve pinch Sulu crossed Spock’s mind, but that would have proven illogical considering of their current situation. Perhaps another time would be more suitable.
“Nothing would happen.” He responded, though Spock was not sure of what was to be expected. Concerned, he tried the communicator….Nothing. “Lieutenant. I want you to make sure nothing happens to Nyo…To Uhura and the others. I am more than capable of taking care of myself…I have more training in the field.”
Glancing up, he noted the hatch. Reaching up, he knocked it off in a few simple jabs. Spock rubbed his slightly bruised hand before turning again on Sulu. “Do not concern yourself with me. As your commanding officer, I order you to return back to the others. If nesscary, you will beam out of here with or without me. Disobey and you will be court marshaled.”
His threat was very real. Spock had a mission to complete and yet he wanted to ensure that Nyota was safe and sound, even if he had to put his trust in Sulu. After the order issued, Spock had jumped up, pulling himself up through the elevator hatch. Once on the platform above, he glanced upwards.
Level 4 was not that far.

Leonard McCoy Oh hell, she said it. She mentioned it more or less. Bones tensed, and paused in his investigation of the noise. Though the woman had a point, they should inform Spock and Sulu. Perhaps the noise had been a result of their use of the elevator? Doubtful. McCoy cursed underneath his breath, taking out his communicator, but he soon found out that he could not reach them. “Damn…Something is blocking their signal.” They had no way to reach them at the moment. As soon as Bones closed the communicator, it beeped at him, demanding attention. “McCoy-“ “-Bones what the hell is going on? Why did Uhura ask Scotty to stand by?!” Kirk sounded livid and worried. “Nothing to alarm yourself with Jim…Look, it’s a bit weird down here, and I just thought it would be good for Mr Scott to keep an eye on us…” “Bullshit.” McCoy sighed heavily, pacing back and forth, “Look Jim, everything is….s**t…” the communicator clattered to the ground as it fell from the doctor’s hand. Bones staggered a step back, not believing his eyes at first. Had to be a trick of the light. “Well, shut my mouth….” His southern drawl escaping there. Someone was…alive? No. The staggered movements, the ungodly moan, and the ever growing stench of death filled his nostrils. ON full view now, the being he saw had been human once, but through a brutal onslaught and viral infection turned the once happy worker of Starfleet into a monster. “Dear god…” and here he was…without a damn phaser to shoot it with..or at least stun the damn thing as it came closer. Bones didn’t even notice that the other unanimated corpses started to twitch. All I have left is my bones..

[[ Did someone say Zombies! 8D ]] "No.....f*cking way..." janice said snatching the laptop off the table and backing up. She lifted her laptop up getting ready to slam it on whatever came her way. She made a quick dash towards uhura and turned around to watch her back. Oh s**t! they were all rising. "They're all around us!" janice yelled out but trying to maintain her composure. This was more than just a raid, there was something else going on, but what?. What can reanimate a corpse? Janice tried to think of any possible way that it could happen. The only thing she could think of was something Viral. They were dead. Bones said it himself. The crew was in deep s**t, and Sulu and Spock was no where around, "I hope theyre ok.." she thought to herself while watching the rest of the bodies get up and start staggering close to them. She pulled her Phaser out of her bag and was getting ready for the worst. ------------------------------------You Can look, But ya cant touch..------------------------------------
