His growing spiritual pressure was astounding and it began to choke her as she began to lose control. Her blood was drenching the area around her but she didn't care much. It was a wound, a minor stab wound. She had seen much worse before.
Ryu slammed the arrancar into a tree and Yumi staggered to her feet. Anger coursed through her veins. How dare someone stab me! There was an unusual burning in her arm that seemed like a fire licking the broken skin of her wound.
Yumi leaned against a tree breathing heavily trying to stabilize herself under the pressure of her Captain's spiritual pressure. Without a word to Ryu she flashstepped to the arrancar her blood boiling now. "Time to do this Sasibari," she said. She could feel the arrancar ahead and Shunpo'd to him while pulling Sasibari in strike position. She would break his soul chain.
Her zanpakuto stopped right before his formand Yumi was flung backwards. The arrancar appeared behind her and she swung again fiercely. It was physically impossible to make contact with him. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" she yelled.
Daloutora laughed and grabbed her injured arm from behind. He licked her cut and pushed her away. "The change is now complete," he said softly. "Now I have won."
Yumi eyes were slits of disgust. "You will never win. If I am not able to defeat you, my Captain will," Yumi said. What did he do to me....

Yumi Shunpo'd behind the arrancar and stabbed his shoulder. Her zanpakuto slid through to his chest. She pulled it out and landed a few feet away livid with hatred.
She had a wild smile on her face that was actually satisfied with the blow...until she felt her own flesh rip.
Blood poured out from her chest giving her a wound identical to the one she had just dealt to the arrancar.
Surprisingly Yumi was still on her feet. Her eyes had a sort of laugh in them and her face was no longer wild but set in a wise smile.
"I see how it is then," she said. "I recieve all injuries inflicted on you." Yumi kind of giggled. "This doesn't end the fight you know."
If I can survive my own attacks, I will kill him, but stay alive. But this arrancar is strong, and a strong blow from my Captain is needed to beat him...
...then my fate shall be so.

Ryu ponders to himself for a second,........, "Yumi-chan!, i have an idea but you have to trust me, ok?"

Yumi looked at his face and knew her answer. "I trust you," she replied.

Ryu had an evil smirk on his face, "Eat, Kuroi Dangan!", Ryu slashed his scythe and crated a temporal slit in the fabric of time and out of it came 1000 dark bullet that attached themselfs to the Arrancar, draining him of all his reiatsu. "With all your reiatsu gone your technique is uneffective on Yumi. Now!, Forbidden Kido: Kūkanten'i (空間転位, Spatial Displacement)". Ryu created a Black dome over the area that shrunk down around the Arrancar, It then disappeared inside of itself sending the Arrancar to an unknown location. Ryu collapsed to the ground.

Yumi felt herself drain out of power along with the arrancar, but as soon as the bond broke between them, she could feel it come back to her. It was like a rubber band breaking and the larger end coming around the whip back into her. Yumi huffed, breathless, and hopped over to Ryu.
She knelt down over him and placed her hand on his chest. His chest was rising and lowering slowly. She wiped the sweat off of his face with her stained sleeve.
'He needs rest now,' she thought.
Yumi picked him up, one hand under his back, the other under his knees and held him to her chest as she Shunpo'd back to Ryu's quarters. It was hard work moving herself and Ryu, but finally she reached his (home?).
Yumi slid the door open with her foot, grunting from the effort and slid into the dark room. A bed lay a few feet away; she set Ryu on it.
Silently, she walked around the room, stopping in each corner to light the candle that sat there. Hesitantly, Yumi walked over to Ryu's bedside, where he was still unconscious.
"Thank you for saving me Captian. I feel ashamed to have caused your present state, and I will not let you save me next time if it may endanger your life. Your skill and power back there was...incredible. I can only dream of walking in your footsteps, but believe me, I will," she said skakily and chuckeled. "Ryu..."
"Miss Meag?" someone from Squad 4 asked as they entered the room.
She looked up, interrupted, and corrected him. "It's Yumi now."
He looked a bit confused but continued on, "Master Kurouhoka has sent me to you. He said I may be of some help and that he would like to speak to you privately."
"Alright then," she replied and walked toward the door. "Please take a look at my Captain. He has fought very brevely in a battle. I will check in later."

The squad 4 member nodded at Yumi and bowed, she exited the house and when the squad 4 member turned to look at Ryu....he was gone. The bed was empty. The curtain's in the window swede in the wind.

Yumi gave one last look at the door before closing it and Shunpo'd off to see the Mater Kurouhoka. He was an experienced fighter, and one of the new Captains. He slightly intimidated her with his severe gaze and hidden cleverness. He often reminded her of a fox, abiding its time, waiting for the opportune moment to pounce.

Ryu, after jumping out the window, started to walk around. He was wondering through a wooded area. Ryu stumbled upon a waterfall, cascading in beauty. Without even a second though, he sat under the waterfall and began to meditate as the smooth water ran over him.

Yumi pushed aside the door and peeked into a dark room. "Mater Kurouhoka?" she called out.
There was no response then a voice replied quietly, "Come in."
Yumi slid in and shut the door behind her. It was utterly dark. Smoke began wafting around her, and there was a clink of bottles.
"Excuse me Captain, but why is it so dark in here?" she asked tentatively.
"Beacause I like the dark," the Captain's voice said quietly next to her ear.
Yumi jumped back and unsheathed her zanpakuto. Mater Kurouhoka began to chuckle and then the room lit up. "Goodness Yumi. You are scared easily."
Her face flushed deep red. "I was no scared! A little creeped out yes," she said and hugged her chest.
"I was merely testing you. How mean of you to call me creepy," he said and dramatically acted like he was mortally hurt. His face abruptly changed into a harsh seriousness and his voice turned slightly raspy. "The Squad 1 Captain has asked your transfer into my Squad. How about that? I promise you I will help you train to become a great warrior."
"I am already in a Squad thank you. And I think My Captain is doing a great job with my training. I will speak to the captain of Squad 1 myself to get this decision changed."
"That's of no use now. I have already sent a butterfly message to Ryu telling him of the news. It is not your place to change orders."
Yumi was silent. Transfers didn't happen a lot unless the person beign transfered had asked to move, which she certainly did not do. "Well I'll be leaving now if that's all."
"Aw come on, stay. I wanna teach you this new move I'm developing," he said and pulled out his zanpakuto.
Yumi faced him as well.

Ryu sat meditating under the Waterfall. The water was cold and gave Ryu a tingle that ran through his body. He finally broke the meditation and looked up, a Hell Butterfly came into view as it passed in front of the full moon. "Is it...for me?", the butterfly landed on Ryu's hand transferring the info it held. "What!?!?!". Ryu Shunpo'd to Kurouhoka's Quarters.

Ryu burst in the door without knocking and stared at Yumi and Kurouhoka. "What is the meaning of this message Kurouhoka!, Ryu shouted as the Hell butterfly lept off Ryu's shoulder and flew out the door./

Kurouhoka merely shot Ryu a grimace. He twirled his zanpakuto in his fingers and replied with a sigh, "It is as the message says, Yumi will be transferred into my Squad. Done."
Yumi frowned. "How did you know I changed my name?" Only Ryu had been with her that night she had changed it.
Captain Kurouhoka laughed, "I know everything."
Yumi arched her eyebrows. 'This guy is totally creepy.' she thought to herself and rolled her eyes.
Noticing her expression he pouted and said, "What? You doubt my power? Trust me, I can teach you techniques far surpassing his," he scoffed and nodded in Ryu's direction.
'Somehow I doubt that,' she thought already fed up with Kurouhoka's insane boasting.
Yumi gave Ryu a "Captain, I'm not leaving your side for him" look.

Ryu noticed Yumi's glance to him, but he still couldn't shake the insults that Kurouhoka was shooting at him. "I will not stand or this Kurouhoka, you just now notify me, and expect me to accept. Not even asking my approval, you just demand....The answer is no. You do not deserve her in your squad. Ryu slid a hand into his Kosode, and his other on the hilt of his sword. Waiting on Kurouhoka's reply.

"You may have her for a few days but she will soon be following my orders," he said. "I'll give you time to say your goodbyes."
"You b*****d!" Yumi screamed and left the tent trying to not cry.
