Madriana morph looked at Mika in confusion. When the girl held out the restore staff, she took it. She wasn't really sure what to do. "Oh." She said, after a moment. She held the staff out to Mika, trying her hardest to activate it.
Staff. Must heal Mika. Must heal sister. Must use staff... Staff...
The staff lit up and Mika was engulfed in a bright light. The silence spell lifted from Mika... Madriana grinned like a child who had used the toilet for the first time... Perhaps that was a horrible reference.
"Did it!!" She said.
Used it Fulfilled purpose. Look what I did. I am good.

Loki tossed his head back and laughed after a moment, one hand on his chest as the chain of his monocle swung back and forth, and then he straightened up, deadly serious, and stared Octavio in the eye.
"Why," he asked in return, "do you think I'm doing this? Perhaps it's because I wasn't satisfied being a mere trickster god beneath a pantheon of weaklings. Perhaps I wanted more! And look now... Infinite power! I am ultimate! I am the lord of all! So powerful, a goddess from another world sent her pathetic dog to me." He walked closer, smirking, his hands clasped behind his back. "Octavio, Octavio... Your dear mistress fears, quite rightly, that I want to take her world just as I took this one. And she sends me a fool! Haha!" He leaned in close, grinning cruelly. "You, as they say, fish for tigers in the sea. You seek answers when you know not the question. And you think you can destroy me."
He turned and walked away, laughing softly. "I daresay you aren't worthy to fight the likes of me. Perhaps I'll allow Váli to kill you. I have better things to do, I'm certain."

The Raven whipped in the air, feeling the pain of the arrows. But, it didn't go down, something Arashe planned on, what with them being Heroes and all. But, his ability to conjure wind blades? No, didn't see that coming.
Victoria just stood there as the attack came closer. Shock, maybe? Regardless, Arashe broke his stance with the Ichival and sprinted towards the Bishop. As the blades struck all around them, Arashe tackled Victoria out of the way, just as a final blade tore through the earth she just stood on.
As they fell to the ground, Arashe landed directly on top of her. Sure, it may be awkward, but at least she'd be mostly safe from harm, right?

Arishoto kajah tilo loshecka iro go feh... Drajmahsta eptome an brehsha...«§hento»
Along with Mika, Shento arrived, after preparing his equipment, and... suiting up. He searched through a pack on his belt. "...only five. Had six.... I wonder where.... no matter..." He looked up, and his shimmering black hair blew back behind his face, flowing in the wind. There they were, the ones he was being forced to fight. He didn't want to. He didn't blame them for Teifi's death. But what he wanted didn't really have a say anymore. His actions were being controlled, by dark forces.
He took his bow from his back, and aimed it outward. "...Forgive me." Sparks then started to emanate from the bow, getting more and more fierce the long the charge was held. "Ten.... ...twenty.... ...thirty...." The giant arrow of lightning in the center grew and grew. "sixty.... .... .....eighty....." Chirping radiated from the bow, the fierce weapon ready to finally strike. "one hundred percent output." Shento released the bow, and was pushed back by the great force, and the mighty shot swept through the skies. "Scatter shot." The bolt then split into separate pieces, and those pieces into other smaller pieces until there were near one hundred arrows flying, falling, soaring, hunting down toward the FEF members below. The power between the arrows was split, but there was power in numbers, for sure.

Isadora was on her horse, trying to figure out how to bring down the raven. She wasn't sure which weapon she should use. A hand axe or her spear? Before she could decide, she noticed something was coming.
At first, she thought it was a flock of birds. But as it moved closer, she saw it was hundreds of electric arrows coming at them.
"Take cover!"Isadora yelled as she moved her horse to the wall of the mountain as possible and used her shield as a protection from the arrows.

"Oh NO! TAKE COVER!" Fa also yelled as she transformed back into her normal size and took Soren behind a tree and waited for the storm to be over.

Blossom startled just slightly at John's hand on her shoulder, but didn't scream; he spoke quickly enough for her to not assume some enemy had snuck up on her. "Blossom! We need to team up to take down Castello! You in?"
Blossom gripped her sword more tightly. Take down a raven laguz? Wouldn't the archers be more suited to that task? If he was up in the air, they wouldn't be able to reach him at all...
"I can't reach him up there!" Blossom said back to John. What was she supposed to do, throw her sword? "Go help Arashe! I can handle--"
She paused. There were birds coming. A lot of birds. Since when? Then Isadora shouted: "Take cover!"
Blossom turned her eyes up to the sky. Shadows fell in patches across the entire battlefield, dozens of tiny arrows powered by an electric spark. They were all plummeting down towards the ground... right for them.
Cover? What cover? The... the mountains! An outcropping of stone large enough to hide under had to be around there somewhere! "Chickenwire, hurry!" Blossom shouted. She tried to tug on the large man's hand, eyes spying a small alcove in the rocky terrain surrounding them. Without another word, she slipped underneath it for safety. As she waited for the arrows to come down, she froze, eyes widening.
A maniacally grinning face sending her smaller body hurtling back with a powerful strike... hitting the wall, huddling back only to look up and see rocks tumbling down, piercing flesh, bruising skin, and crushing the body to bring on darkness.
Blossom's face paled, and she held on tightly to Chickenwire's hand. "Don't let the alcove fall, don't let the alcove fall," she mumbled, voice thready. "Don't let the alcove fall--" She heard an arrow strike overhead and half-shrieked, voice quieting until it was a strained whisper. "Don't let the alcove fall, please don't let the alcove fall..."

"Aw F*** everyone move!" John cursed as he hid underneath a tree and took an arrow and aimed it towards the sniper that launched the insidious arrow attack .

Ed had entered the general area a bit late, and what timing! She had walked into a rain of arrows! Though she was impressed, she allowed her instinct for danger to pull her back out and against a wall, watching the sparking arrows with great intrigue and gripping Aegis in her right hand. A daring grin spread on her face.
"Papa would flog me if he knew I was out here," she mused, her bright blue eyes glittering at the sight. Ed waited for the rain of arrows to pass and checked the scene, wondering if it was safe. Those things looked mighty sparkly to not be dangerous after all!

As Rhys kept his eyes on the heroes who weren't Castello, he saw the arrow arc out of the cave, then seperate into dozens... no, more like hundreds. "Take cover", huh? He didn't need to be told twice. He ran for the wall of the mountain, taking Amelia with him.
There they hunkered down, waiting out the storm of arrows that followed.

Oh dear, there were arrows falling from the sky. That would certainly pose a problem, wouldn't it? Well, for everyone else, that was. Renault didn't bother to stop, but instead continued on his way forward, Luce held loosely in one hand. It didn't matter, these were magical arrows. They wouldn't be able to do much more than scratch someone of his magical prowess. Wasn't that true? Magical arrows would simply knock into him like a blunt object and fade away. He wasn't worried. He was never worried by such things as these. And at this moment, he was even less worried; it didn't seem to matter. He only had to choose his intended target. Which of these looked to be the weakest against his tome?
His concentration was suddenly distracted, though, by the arrival of one of the bolts raining from the sky. Said bolt pierced directly through his shoulder, sending an electrical surge through his system and freezing him in place for a second. Was that bow really this powerful? No... No, it didn't feel as if it was simply power. It had passed through his resistances like they weren't there at all. That was unexpected, but... it wasn't too bad. It was a injury, but it was clean, and he could handle it. It didn't seem to hurt, though. How odd. Perhaps he was in shock for the moment. The crackle of lightning alerted him to another bolt, though, and he became busy tuning his senses to their magical presence and moving aside while they fell around him.

Amelia was, to say the least, shocked to see an arrow fly, then suddenly split, and then each one split again... She had to stay calm. This wasn't impossible to avoid. Rhys, though, was thinking more clearly, reacting faster; a hand grasped her arm, and soon she was running after him for the mountain wall. Amelia knelt next to Rhys, one arm tight around his shoulders. The smaller target they made, the less chance they'd be hit. Amelia watched and waited for the barrage to cease, not daring to move forward.
Her breath hitched in her throat. "Dad!" she called, eyes wide. What was he doing, just... strolling into the middle of the attacks like this? "Get under cover! Dad!" He didn't hear her! Why didn't he hear her? She winced as an arrow pierced straight through him, but... he kept moving... "Dad...!" she breathed. Her arm tightened around Rhys. Run after him and risk being harmed, or let him keep going...?

Rhys frowned as Renault just kept on walking. The blazes does he think he is doing? Doesn't he realize there are arrows falling down? Then he began detecting faint energies coming from the arrows... ohh, that was why he didn't care. The arrows must be magical. That's a relief... I can deal with magical arrows and--
Ouch. Okay, maybe they're still capable of hurting us magic users, he thought as the Saint took a blow through the shoulder. However, after that he seemed to adjust his movements, walking to wherever an arrow did not exist at that time. Still a dangerous move--suppose arrows fell in such a way that he couldn't just move away--but still.
"Wait," he said to Amelia. "Let him be. If anyone knows how to evade the falling arrows, it's your dad. He'll hold together."
You hear me, Father? Hold together.

A young archer, a newcomer, wound his way through Shento's shower of arrows. He aimed carefully at the hero he felt the most vulnerable and shot true--
A stray arrow pierced the sage's side; "You fool!" he hissed, roughly pulling it out and glaring at the one who had fired it.
"Emergeix com un nen des del ventre matern, i acabar amb aquest villano--"
The earth under the archer trembled and he tried to run, but Espinne's vines were too quick and he was soon wrapped in the thick growth. He was trapped: he was Domanova's prey. He suddenly sputtered as his attempt to scream was foiled: the growths wrapped around his neck, crushing his vocal chords and gagging him, as well. More tendrils wrapped around him and he tried to turn away, tears forming in the corner of his eyes from the pain and the blood in his veins pumping faster and faster...would he just squeeze him to death, like an anaconda?! He gave one final grunt, trying to break away with the last of his strength, but to no avail; he hung limp, his streaming eyes beginning to lose focus and the saliva running uselessly down his chin as the enchanted vines choked him.
The sage's mouth formed one lightly accented word.
"--Espinne!"
Thorns, slender but as long and sharp as daggers, sprouted in a split-second all along the length of the brambles; an unearthly noise followed--the hard sound of something being shoved deep into a body, the gurgling of the victim in death coming soon after.
Domanova pulled a healing stave out of his bag and set to mending his wound.
"I should take greater care," he grumbled, putting away the stave and creating more brambles in the area. He yanked his Fimbulvetr tome out of his bag--would probably be quicker than Espinne...

Sue saw the barrage of arrows, and she and Andre were quick to make sure they dodged every one. Her hand covered her cheek as she felt one of them graze against it, only slightly... and it burned like nothing the nomad ever knew. Thank goodness another barrage wouldn't be on its way soon!
She took aim at Shento too with Myulgre, firing a shot first at him.. and then another in Castello's direction. The arrows were shot off almost as quickly as she thought of doing so. They can't attack and dodge at the same time!
Leon knew that dodging was going to be nigh impossible with his heavy armor, and for the moment, everyone seemed to be distracted by the barrage of arrows. He took cover in the only 'cover' he could find... a nearby rock 'wall'. The knight urged his steed behind it, knowing full well that Amelia could find cover on her own. He had himself to worry about.
Victoria was slightly blushing, but had no time for embarrassment as she was shielded by Arashe. Instead of trying to find cover or Run, she purged the arrows that came near her, as her magic cancelled out theirs. After a long time of slinging spells... the barrage was over...
"Arashe..." she muttered. "Are you all right?"
