damn i cant believe they made EVERY mob in ss have duct tape. its so god damn annoying when you cant move during the entire fight every single time. and they give the clams a new ability that make it so you cant even use your rings for like 5 seconds while being duct tape. didn't they think "hey maybe giving all the mobs duct tape is a bad idea cause think about it.. if your fighting like 5-7 of them at once and they all use it on them they wont be able to move the whole fight and it would just be god damn annoying?"
its not fun or challenging its just stupid. it was more fun and challenging when we could pull like 50 mobs together and fight em all at once. now you cant do that anymore cause ull get god damned duct taped. if it wasn't broke then why "fix" it. sigh another swing and strike out for the gaia team on another crappy update. why wont they fix real problems like clan chat and the fact that a lot of people cant enter old aqueduct instead of doing this crap is beyond me. ss/eb is now 100% no fun anymore. when they nerfed eb it dropped 50% fun and now they ruin ss. why god damn it why? scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream

Actually the sleep attacks were broken from the beginning. You see, sleep attacks are supposed to make the victim sleep, which means you shouldn't be able to attack things while you're making your Zzz's. It never made any sense to me why the clams could only make your feet fall asleep while your ring hands could keep attacking. This "new" clam ability is what our duct tape has always done to the enemy, whereas the enemy duct tape only had a quicksand effect on players. We were always immune to sleep until this update. The barnacle fluff mobs use a quicksanding attack, not duct tape. If the barnacles or any of the other ss enemies are actually posing a major sleep threat on you, it's probably a glitch. Now if only they could make the status effects show up in the crew panel, then it'd make things alot less confusing in battle.
Personally, I'm rather enjoying this new little twist in ss. And it really isn't that hard to overcome when you bring along a competent crew that doesn't rush in blindly. Not to mention the fact that willpower finally has more purpose. Seriously... I throw on my shaman set and give those clammy bastards a taste of their own medicine. Tastes like poetic justice with a side of whoop a**. Delicious.

I always thought the Zzz's looked a bit pointless at times and it wouldn't be as fun for the little monsters if they couldn't be quite as annoying as we are to them. Maybe giving them some different attacks and affects from the usual rings might be interesting. Such as giving them the ability to lock a certain ring for a limited amount of time. Having a handicap could create a new challenge to overcome and would also mean you'd have to rely more on others to help out with such a situation. Just some suggestions that I seem to make every so often sweatdrop
