Yarah's kick made a strange clanging noise, and he looked back to realize that Tanto had half-changed back and was well on his way to being fully shifted. His head had been the first to morph, leaving him with his gleaming purple helmet to absorb the kick - for the most part. It was evident in his violet eyes that he was beginning to grow frustrated by these gnats.

Yarah felt perhaps a little fear as Tanto lunged at him, swiping before he could regain the balance from his flying recovery. The Demon-Major's massive hand wrapped around Yarah's legs and squeezed brutally, probably breaking them as he jerked them out from under the Demon-Minor. He swung Yarah around like a doll, using his body to intercept a few fireballs from Ridley.

That done, Tanto threw Yarah with fierce power, straight into Xane with enough force to probably remove someone from the fight. He fluidly shifted back into his human form, charging Ridley as he dodged the fire and attacks. As he closed in, he shifted back into his lumbering armor, tackling Edward to the ground before he could get out of Tanto's reach and swinging a giant fist for his head. He also maneuvered to pin Ridley beneath his massive bulk, preventing him from fleeing as he rained more blows down on his head and shoulders.

"My bad!" Ridley called out as the fireballs hit Yarah.
Corhir suggested once more as a mana jet got him mostly out of the way of Tanto's first attack, causing him to spin wildly as jets were suddenly point wrong directions.
"Oh fine," he hissed as he ejected the sheath and promptly fell onto his sword.

"Awkward," he hissed as anyone who was staring at him did so, feeling Corhir's mana entering his body, to some degree suppressing his own. "So awkward," he continued as Tanto bore down on him. There was a flash of white-hot fire as he shoved Tanto back and the sword disappeared, Edward managing to briefly stagger even the ancient fallen angel with the abruptness of the shift.

"Hey everyone. How's it going. I'm doing fine, thanks," Corhir's voice greeted them all. Edward's body was somewhat transformed - his feet and legs had scales and claws, his head had much more feminine features as well as ram horns on the sides, and - well, now. He hadn't had breasts before, had he?

No, he definitely hadn't.

Edward pleaded.

Corhir smiled and launched forward, slamming horns-first into Tanto's torso with the full force of her mana, unrestrained by the need to maintain a body (after all, what was Edward good for if not for providing a warm body to house her power?) before darting back.

Ooooooh s**t. Being used as a shield for fireballs was not something Yarah enjoyed doing ESPECIALLY when he was being swung around like a bat and his legs were broken. "Don't worry about it, I've been hit with worse," he called out to Ridley (somehow). He wouldn't know how bad the fractures were until he sat down to look at them. For the time being, he focused on shielding his body from the oncoming fireballs.

Yay. No buuuuuuuur-- Suddenly Yarah was flying. Correction, he got thrown away. He didn't know in what direction he was thrown, he just waited to hit the wall before he could attempt to heal his legs. If he hit anyone on the way to the wall, he never noticed. Geez, overkill much? The Demon-Minor should have expected it; a prideful Demon like Tanto wouldn't take a kick to the face kindly.

Now crumpled on the ground, he sat up before looking at his legs. They weren't mangled beyond repair, but it was still no laughing matter. He stretched his hands out to reach his feet before started the fast healing that he was known to do. I cannot afford to feel numb. I HAVE to make sure I can still keep going. After a minute or two, he slowly got on his feet and bent his legs. Sore, slightly numb, and my balance is a little off. He'd stay put till he was more confident in his legs.

When he'd paid attention to the battle, he noticed some VERY obvious changes in Ridley. "I hope you'll explain the changes after this spar," he called out.

Tanto was lucky he had stayed in his armored form, because his human form probably wasn't strong enough to take the kind of blow that he caught to his chest after Ridley changed into...something else.

Focus. At present, Tanto had a pressing matter to deal with, and he would deal with that first before trying to think about complicated things. He was the type of Demon that liked to take life by the horns and just roll, rough and ready. So he grabbed onto the new Ridley's horns and dug his feet into the ground, prepared to either throw the demon-human down, or go down fighting. Either way, this was gonna be baaaaaaaad.

Muscles straining, Tanto poured more mana into his arms, leaning forward and putting his massive bulk into it. He began to push Ridley/Corhir back, slowly, but it was a delicate balance. A slight shift and he could lose it, so he needed to act now.

Then he felt them pass the point he had felt before, in fighting with larger creatures throughout the millenia. With a savage twist, a huge burst of mana, and an actual audible grunt, Tanto threw Corhir to the ground and proceeded to pepper the area with kinetic bolts, trying to keep the creature from rising again.

Eventually, he jumped backwards and looked at Corhir with new light in his eyes. "Just what are ewe?" he murmured, almost to himself.

Corhir shuddered briefly, feeling a vague impression as though something terrible had just happened. "Me? Or Ridley? Or the sort-of between-thing we are now?" Corhir asked for clarification.

EWE now.>
She shuddered again as she brute forced her way through the kinetic bolts, taking the battering as she forced herself to her feet. It seemed that Corhir's presence was greater than the mere hybrid body - there was a veritable shell of mana formed around her. She rushed forward again, feinting low then going for a flying scaled knee at the torso. There was a palpable buildup of potential energy awaiting release behind the jumping strike, in addition to the acceleration she was undergoing from the mana released behind her.

"You, I suppose," Tanto said, unsure if he was addressing some other entity or something that had been present all along. That was certainly interesting.

The feint almost worked, only failing by a sliver of a second. Tanto dropped his guard to counter it, but at the last second realized that his fascination with this creature was getting in the way of his fighting. He shaped up his defense just as Corhir switched attacks, though his physical defenses were not quite enough to be able to take a blow of that magnitude.

Tanto managed to minimize the blow by concentrating all of his mana up in front of himself, a move that would be inadmissible in a real fight but might be a workable gambit in a spar. Their mana fields crashed together chaotically, throwing both of them away from the point of impact and allowing Tanto to regain his stance.

When there was distance between them, Tanto fired an extremely focused round of kinetic energy, one that acted like a bullet and was structured so that it would shed layers of itself in order to penetrate Corhir's mana field and still have enough force to hopefully put her out of the fight for at least a minute, which would be good enough.

"Nice," Corhir panted as she recovered from the blast. "I'm a demon-minor. Been hitching a ride with... Ed... son o-" she realized a moment too late what Tanto's kinetic round was doing as it neutralized the chaotic waveforms of her mana and slammed into her torso, causing her to drop to a knee, gasping for air. Her demonic healing was doing its best to repair the lung's puncture quickly enough to get back into battle but-
Edward commented. Corhir got the impression of a resigned, somewhat sheepish smile on his face.
Corhir put her back to the wall and clutched the wound.
Edward replied. A devious grin.

Tanto picked up his gigantic sword and advanced warily on Corhir, pointing it at her and hovering the point of it inches from her face, unwavering.

"Do you yield?" he grated.

Corhir licked the tip of the sword suggestively-

Then nodded. "We yield."

That done, Tanto's sword disappeared as he shifted back into his human form and adjusted his slightly-crooked sunglasses over his violet eyes. He extended a hand and helped Corhir to stand, supporting her weight as he analyzed her punctured lung.

"Yarah?" he said, gesturing.

"Damn that was a good match!" He clapped for the two fighters. "Superb really. Kinda wish I had jumped back in. On the other hand, I think it might have been for the best I didn't get back in." He had a fierce grin on his face.

He walked up to the two fighters (no wobbliness thankfully). "So I know that you both got some injuries. My turn now," he said cheerfully. He looked at Ridley. "Why don't we start with you? I saw the hit to the torso." He raised his hands ready to heal any wounds she had.

He turned to look at Tanto. "I know she's got worse wounds than yours, but I'd still like to take a look at you after I'm done with her. Or him. Or well, Ridley and our mystery lady. Might we have the honor of knowing your name?" Tanto probably wouldn't want Yarah to examine him, but it was always best to be safe than sorry. He was extremely stubborn in that sense.

"I'm Corhir. Some fine men of science somehow convinced me to be in Edward's sword."

"So I provide power, he provides a body I don't have to keep stable."

"Also, apparently, whoever isn't in control heckles the other. I imagine you would too if you shared your body with someone. For years."

"Of course, there are fun parts." Corhir began to fondle herself.

"If I wasn't using his face right now, the look on it would be priceless," she informed them happily.

Tanto nodded silently as Corhir spoke. He could understand their arrangement perfectly. It was sometimes a pain to maintain a body, plus he too would love to torture someone whose body he shared.

Also, she wasn't all that bad to look at, though she was a bit young for him.

"It is certainly nice to meet you Corhir." He set his arms on Corhir's shoulders and felt out the depth of the injuries her body sustained. "That's a nasty lung wound you've got there." Eh, nothing he couldn't handle.

He laughed loudly when he saw her fondle her own breasts. "I can't imagine how difficult it is to keep the balance of control over a single body." He grinned at her. "As much fun as it is to watch you fondle yourself - and I bet annoy Ridley with it - I'm afraid I'm going to have to set my hand closer to your bosom. Normally I wouldn't warn and just straight out do it, but you are a lady." He lowered his hands so that they were at the collarbone and certainly not touching anything else. He closed his eyes to concentrate.

A few moments later, he let go of her and grinned. "There now. The lung tissue has been healed and you shouldn't be feeling any pain. Do you have any other injuries that need tending to or shall I go ahead and look at Tanto?" Yarah took his job very seriously - there were no such things as men and women to him when it came to healing. They are patients first and people second.

Corhir smiled and stuck her chest out for Yarah's benefit (and Edward's embarrassment) during the healing. "Don't worry, I can actually reassemble bits of his body with my mana. All that's left is a few cuts and scrapes. I don't think we managed to do much to him, but yeah. I'm eager to hear the damage report, I do confess."
