It was strangely comforting to hold Brisecshal. Whatever power it was blessed with seemed to sooth the dancer. Ninian sat in stunned silence, reeling at Ganon's words.
Numbly, she pulled what was left of an elixir out of the satchel around her waist. "A-all I have is this," she said softly.
She closed her eyes. She had not really known Teifi, but she had seen her before. Seen her smile, seen her laugh. And that was how the heroic dancer would be remember in Ninian's mind.
Thank you . . . for Brisecshal, she thought. I will use it in your honor, Teifi, and to protect the ones I love. Opening her eyes again, fresh tears appeared. May you find peace. . . .

"I-I don't have any potions... but..." Sue motioned to Ninian whom was passing on the Elixir. "It looks like miss Ninian took care of it. Ganon will be fine, Amara." the nomad smiled, trying her best to look pleasant in the presence of the child.

I am going to request that Ninian and Nils one day fight side-by-side. >: -shot-
AND I DID NOT FORGET ABOUT AMARA'S STUFFED ANIMALS I SWEAR >>;;;

Amara's smile was shaky as she nodded at Sue. "Ah... alright." She gave the nomad a small wave and then walked back over to the drawing she was working on, though not finding the inspiration or motivation to finish it.
The child sighed softly, wiping away her drawing in the dirt. Why keep an unfinished drawing? She half-waddled over to where her stuffed animals were, the ones that she got at the festival with her mommy and her "big brother" Ephraim. The stuffed bear, the one she named Berry, was soon in her arms, squeezed tightly while she sat on the ground, Straw and Cherry leaning against each hip.
She kept a smile on her face, though, staring off in the direction that her mother had left in the first place.

Ephraim grumbly held the water sack on his eye and sat up, even though he was told to lay down. He's wide awake now dammit and he will be up. Guess that hit was a fair trade, he hit John and John hits him back..though both were completly by accident..and kinda ironic now that he thought about it.
He listened quietly to the others as they tried to comfort Ganon. Ephraim didn't have any say...in these situations, usually the best solution was given time. He lowered the pouch and tapped his left eye lightly. "...is it turning dark..?" Ephraim asked, turning to John as he pointed to his left eye. He HOPED it wasn't.....a little dark red is what he hope at most.
Ephraim turned his head and spotted Amara sitting somewhat alone..but still a little off from the group..only cuddling her bear so she wasn't quite alone. He couldn't help but get up and move toward where she was. Though the little girl was so lost in thought, she didn't seem to notice the prince approach at all. He got down to his knees and looked her up and down. "Hey" tapping her on the head.

"Lad. Im sorry. But you have a black eye." John said as he sat down next to him and placed his hand on his shoulder. Although John felt quite bad about hitting Ephraim he chuckled to himself and thought "Heh I still got it" as looked to the red headed girl that ephraim was poking.

Amara clutched her bear tightly in her grip, imagining that the bear was actually her mommy. She bit her bottom lip softly, not nearly hard enough to draw blood. ... Why aren't you back yet, mommy...?
A light tap on head distracted her from her thoughts. She looked up at the person who was trying to get her attention and gasped. "Ephie!! She let go of Berry and hugged Ephraim tightly. He was still here! Her "big brother Ephie" was still here!
She looked up at his face and gasped once more, noticing something she didn't notice before. "Ephie... You're hurt!" The small child exclaimed, pointing to his left eye, while tears were forming in hers. "A-are you okay...?"

He nearly topped over when she jumped on him. He was glad he was still here otherwise Amara would be completly lonely, especially since Alihi tended to run off and join a fight. Ephraim patted her on the head, forgetting about his left eye until Amara pointed it out again.
He blinked, shifting his eyes a little "I'm okay just uh....." great, how was he going to explain to Amara about how he got the black eye? He could go ahead and say John punched him or say he was.....bullied? That'd seem childish. Ephraim studdered a little, and gestured over his shoulder "That man there mis-took me for an enemy..is all" ... ok maybe that wasn't the best explanation either but hey, he had nothing else to say.

"Ay Lass. It was an accident. Here have a punch at me." he said politely as he put his arms to the side and let the little girl have a free hit on him.

(( ... Oh man, if you said that Ephraim was bullied, Amara would have been all like, "D< -storms up to John and steps on his foot- YOU'RE A MEANIE FOR HURTING MY BIG BROTHER EPHIE D<" ))
Amara frowned slightly, not satisfied with Ephraim's answer. How could he be mistaken for an enemy...?
Her head tilted to the side when John started talking to her. The man wanted her to punch him?! She let go of Ephraim for a moment, walked over to the man, clenched her right hand into a tight fist...
BAM!
Right in the leg, harder than one would expect from a four year old girl. She grinned triumphantly and went back to hugging Ephraim. "I did it, I did it~"
(( 70% growth for strength for the win~ -would show off all the stats but is too lazy to at the moment- ))

"Hnnnooo" was all that could be heard. "Jeez little girl that was some punch." he said chuckling rubbing his leg and rubbing the back of his head. "Guess that makes a little more even yes?" he asked. How does that girl have the much strength?" he asked in his mind.

He chuckled at her successful punch and picked her up. "Yes indeed you did. Quite a punch there too" at least she was a little more cheerful then before. The least he could do is keep her from feeling lonely while her mother is away...best not mention Alihi right about now...and somehow..Ephraim felt bad for John since he didn't actually know what he was up against...even if she was a four year old girl.
Ephraim looked over and blinked. He reached up to Amara's hair with his right hand and picked an inch worm off her hair. "Now I wonder how this little critter got on you" observing the little worm on his index finger.

(( xD Well, John still got the first ever Amara Paunch, so it works out~ ))
Amara giggled, pouting playfully at John. "But mister, you said for me to punch you, so I did~!"
She then let out a squeal, clinging tightly to Ephraim as he picked her up in the air. Her hair moved back and forth as she nodded quickly. "Mm-hm! I'm tough!" She held her arm up at a ninety degree angle, resting her other hand on the bicep for emphasis.
The little girl's eyes widened and she stared at the worm now crawling on Ephraim's finger. "Ooh..." She looked up at Ephraim, her eyes glittering with enthusiasm. "Can I name him Squiggly, Ephie?!"

"can you keep track of it?" Ephraim asked in between his giggle and let it crawl on the little girl's hand. But it was a little unusual. The forest was amazingly really quiet and to actually find a bug here was a little surprising to Ephraim. Buuut it helped loosen the tension aura.
He paused for a moment and set the girl down so she could play with the new found bug. "Don't squish it now, its rather tiny" Ephraim warned, sitting on the ground on his knees.

Amara nodded, watching as Squiggly crawled around and in between her fingers. She giggled softly. "Mm-hm!"
Once her feet touched the ground she plopped down, using the cloak as a cover so her clothes wouldn't get dirty from sitting on the dirt. She let Squiggly crawl around her sock-covered ankles while she cuddled with Berry once more. "I'm taking good care of Berry, you know." The young girl told Ephraim while watching Squiggly move to the front of her shoe, a smile on her face. "Berry is a very good bear... Straw is a good horse and Cherry is a good bunny, too!" She looked up at Ephraim with a small smile on her face, nodding slightly. "Mm-hm..."
