Anyway, picked up some non-40k material on the way home. Two FFG novels: Bones of the Yopasi, second novel in the Cthulu trilogy, written by a Graham McNeill and Strange Flesh, an Android novel written by Matthew Farrer. Reading the latter now, so far so good, not to mention refreshing to read something game oriented that isn't from the BL stable of works.

Been reading Neuromancer and Snow Crash to get into the cyberpunk mindset. Neuromancer is still just okay, while Snow Crash is too hilarious really. I need to get the audio version of it again.
I've also read the first half of Ready Player One before I had to give the book back. So far so good, so I'm waiting for my order to come in so I can finish it already!

Speak of the devil and blah blah, Ready Player One landed on my doormat yesterday afternoon and I didn't put it down until after I was done reading it. Which was half past three, because sleep is sometimes vastly overrated.
