"Is this safe?" Julia asked Thomas in a low growl. She looked at the way Zoe was reacting. "If this could be harmful instead of just scary, I'm going to force you to get rid of it." she hissed.

Thomas scoffed. His added confidence was making him egotistically stupid. "You have no idea the power of a good invention," he mumbled to himself. "It can have the power of me, the power of a god," he said softly, yet confidently and strongly. He had double the amount of confidence that a normal person should ever have. Something that would definately cause fear and/or chaos when released upon the human realm. His mind raced. This power... would it give him enough to stay in the shadow realm for a small period of time?,he wondered. He was about to try it out, but then he remembered that the power, the strength... some of it was Zoe's. He needed to return it to her, not waste it all. He focused back on the experiment. "Sorry, this is affecting me as well," he apologized quickly to Julia. A part of him wanted to snap and act pompous, but he tried to fight it back. He was doing okay, but he was failing slightly.

Mel didn't pay attention to what he said. She couldn't find the drive to speak or do anything except look up at him as he asked. She stayed silent as she continued to watch him.

"I will only warn you one more time. If that isn't safe, you will put it away." Julia ordered. "And if that is too hard for you, I will take pleasure in destroying that.... box. And I wouldn't talk back to your mayor again if I were you. You just might lose your job." she warned him with a grim smile.

Thomas would kick himself later for what he was about to do. "Please Shutup!" he yelled at Julia. "Lots of things are happening inside me and Mel. I'll explain later, please," he spoke calmer to Julia. He walked closer to Mel. She wasn't speaking, he had to make sure she could do something. "Last test. Look down," he commanded her. If with her power, he couldn't control her to do things, then he needed to lower the suction on it's drain. Because it meant it was sucking her of all energy and power, leaving her scared, but frozen scared, not scream scared. She was in the worst of worst scares. He needed to release her A.s.a.p. If that was the case. He needed to see if she could do something first.
((During your next post Mel, you can look or down or not look down. I may not be able to respond for a while, so he'll place his hand on you and Command himself through thought to give you back your power and confidence, which'll give you back your power after the test. He'll then take the box and go back to the lab. He'll loosen it slightly if she looks down, and loosen it alot if she can't. In the end of your post, he'll end up back at his lab. You can deal with him later Julia. smile ))
