Richard simply stood there just taking her in and shaking his head as his smile grew wider and wider. "It's like you already belong here... I can see you saying the same thing, wearing something close to this, greeting me in the same way..." He shook his head, leaning down to kiss her sweetly. "I brought home the bacon love..." He winked, lifting the bags with a laugh as he made his way in.
"And I see you got the lights working!" He looked around, nodding a bit.

"Everything right now is hooked up to the solar panels installed on the roof. Lights and whatever will stay working until the battery runs low. If we want, we can hook up to the power company, but I wasn't sure if we could pay an electricity bill."
Lorey took one of the bags and went to a cleaned kitchen counter to see what was inside. Everything looked wonderful, making her stomach growl just from the sight. But she had to give Richard a kiss before delving into dinner.
"Some sheets are in the washer, I've been cleaning windows, and thankfully someone took the food out of the fridge before leaving, so we don't have to deal with that. Though I'm pretty sure there are mice living behind the pantry."

Richard laughed. "I wonder if Damian and Raquel would mind us borrowing Trinity then..." He smiled, pulling some of the food out. "As for the power, I think I can rely on the solar energy to make simple repairs until we're ready to move in..." He added, looking up at the kitchen light.

"Alright. How's signing off on the house going to work? And how's the town, are the people nice? I'll have to go out tomorrow."
Lorey loved being busy. It felt normal, more normal than sitting in a luxurious house doing nothing all day. As she ate her sandwich, Lorey felt utterly content. Their dear home was coming together, and it was their first day there.

"Town was lovely...there's a bigger 'city' a bit farther out, but its nothing like Veratia. People were very sweet and neighborly...it was nice...." He smiled, taking a bite of some strange looking food, told it was a delicacy of Druis. It turned out to be very good. "I also spoke with the man Vi entrusted the care of her house too... he's the one who came in and covered things up and whatnot. And old friend of hers... He said that he'd have to call Vi to verify everything before helping me get a hold of the paperwork to officially make it ours... though... do you think we should wait till after we're married before we sign off on it? So we dont have to keep going to get it changed since you'll take on my last name..." He noted, thinking about it for a bit.

"That's right, I forgot I have to be there, too." For some reason, Lorey didn't think she was allowed to have the house fully. It as like all of this was too beautiful to be true, and while she was allowed to stay and enjoy herself, she could not own it fully.
"You're right, though. We should wait until all the legal stuff is taken care of, save the trouble... and then it'll really be our house. Our home." Lorey took his chin in her hand and kissed his lips. How she had managed to capture such a handsome man was beyond her, but Richard was hers and she would never let him forget that.
"I love you, even when you've got a little sauce, right... there." Her thumb took it off the corner of his mouth, leaving a clean spot for her to kiss once more before returning to her meal.

Richard smiled, his face turning slightly red. "Thank you my little kitten. You keep me as clean as Trinity does..." He laughed, pulling out two bottled drink, more Druis classics, handing Lorey one. "Speaking of their 'child', we should have Damian and Raquel up to see it once we start really getting the place to shine..." He sighed, looking up at the details in the ceilings and walls. It was a lovely home. IT was almsot too perfect to be true.

"Your little kitten? I thought I was just your Lorey Love." She had a bit of a drink before laughing to herself. She'd never found any kind of pet name for Richard.
"It'd be strange calling you Richy, or Rich... Pooky bear wouldn't go over well in public..."
Lorey started giggling at all the terrible pet names coming into her mind, especially at cuddle muffins and snuffle cakes.

Richard laughed heartily. "Well I'll try to put off whatever name you give me. Even if it's terribly embarrassing." He leaned over to give her a sweet kiss, before returning to his food. "I can always think of something to call you to make you blush anyhow, so we'd be even..." He sent her a roguish grin but said nothing more on it.

Well that piqued Lorey's interest immensely.
"And just what would make me blush that would combat something like snuggle muffins? That's a little hard to beat."
She ate a little sweet red fruit and eyed him carefully, wanting to hear some kind of terrible pet name and see what he could come up with.

Richard shrugged, looking smug. "I wouldn't have exactly such a sweet innocent name... it'd be a compliment for sure, but nothing appropriate..." He gave her a wink, nonchalantly taking the fruit from her to have a bite, but grimaced at how sweet it was. He handed it back to her coughing slightly.

"But you won't even tell it to me?" Lorey wiggled the little fruit in front of him, seeing that he didn't appreciate sweet things that made him pucker.
"Why not? Is it so bad that you won't even say it as a compliment?" She sat on the counter and crossed her legs, still waiting for him to say what it was.
"Cuddle bear."

"Hmm...Maybe after we're married mkay?" He smirked at her, little devil horns peaking through his blond hair. He leaned over, kissing her sweetly, though let it linger for a naughty moment or two, before standing. "Ah...looks like it might rain..." He sighed, changing the subject as he gazed out the window.
Indeed, dark clouds were rolling in slowly but surely. "I'm glad because I can see what needs work or not when it comes to leaks..." He sighed, looking around for previous water damage.

Even if he didn't say what was on his mind, he still made her blush terribly. Thankfully the rain distracted him so she had a bit of a moment to recover. All she wanted was to grab him and kiss him, but Lorey wasn't so sure she could behave if she got the chance.
"I noticed above the one guest bathroom that there's a watermark on the ceiling. We might want to check that if the storm is good enough."
As she watched him inspect the clouds from behind the window, her heart leapt out to him. How she loved him...
"Watermarks and all, I love this house, and I love you, Richard."

Richard glanced back at her, before turning completely. He just smiled, his eyes soft and serious as he took her in. "I love you too..." He said with a nod.As the light outside was dimming, Lorey looked absolutely lovely in their house. Just sitting. It was funny what she did to him even without moving an inch or saying a thing. Richard hesitated a moment, before coming over to her, leaning down to kiss her. Sweetly at first, then getting slightly deeper and deeper as a little bit of rain started to fall outside.
