Lilith looked at Astrid. She was pretty, the sort of girl she would've liked to have known back at school. Then everyone sort of started talking to each other, so she took a few steps back to the corner of the room. The dark, angry voice was beginning to frustrate her. She heard something about staying at someone's house, but she didn't hear her name, so she retreated more. When she saw a woman enter who was Astrid and Kristof's mother, the voice popped up. 'Your mother won't be coming because she has to look after your father. And you should be there finding the one who hurt him!' The voice hissed at her. 'Why, why are you angry?' She asked herself. 'Because you're wasting time with these people instead of going back home and finding out who hurt your father!' And the last few words seemed to scream at her, and Lilith clutched her head, uttering a soft cry. Visions flicked past her closed eyes of her father lying in a hospital on life support, her mother distraught. As the memories floated by, her anger grew, and it all came out in a angry cry. Realising what had happened, Lilith stood still, shocked and scared, before turning tail and running out the room, collapsing down on the floor under some pay phones. "Shut up, just shut up..." She muttered to herself repeatedly, the fact that people walking past talking in Japanese just made her feel alone and scared.

"That would be nice." Astrid said to Ryouya, blushing slightly. Kristof can have Harper, I'd rather have two good looking boys. She was thinking about all the things they could do together when all of a sudden Lilith let out a cry and ran out of the room.
The real Astrid wanted to go after her but her body wouldn't move. Stay here, the voice hissed, with these people, they will love you. That girl's soul is corrupted, she cannot love you.
No, go to her! said another voice, this one more like her, She's scared and alone, she can give you her full attention. Having taken a psychology class in high school, Astrid assumed this was her ego talking, trying to compromise. It must of worked because mysterious force on her body suddenly disappeared and she was free to run after Lilith. "Hey, are you alright?" she asked, kneeling down next to the girl.

Lilith was quiet by the time Astrid came over, she was hugging her knees and was rocking gently. Without moving she spoke in a voice that held no emotion. "I'm alone, in a country where i can't speak the language properly, a bunch of people i've never met ended up getting hurt at a place i was drawn to and a voice in my head is making me feel anger for the first time." And she sat up straight, staring straight in front of her. "If i was back at school, i would've tried to make friends with you and your brother. You share a similar background to me. Same with Harper. I would've liked friends like you guys at school... At home." And she sighed, the voice gone for now. It was true. Astrid reminded her a bit of herself, and Kristof was fair attractive. She could see how it would've been; it would've been fun.

Astrid tilted her head to the side. "What's stopping us from being friends here? Even if you go back to England we could still write." she said, trying to comfort her, though she really wanted to hear about this voice in Lilith's head. "There must be something more to it, come on, you can trust me. What's been going on in your life?"

Lilith perked up a little. "Yeah, maybe you and Kristof could come stay with us. It'll be cool to have friends that share similar history. My mum loves meeting new people, and it takes dad's mind off..." And she paused, turning away from Astrid back to the wall. "Well, since i woke up here, there's been this voice in the back of my mind. It sounds like me, but it's more... Angry." And she turned to Astrid, her bright green eyes confused. Her septum bar glinted in the light, and as she talked, her tongue bar was visible. Turning back to the wall, she played with a hole in her stockings. "So, does your mum always favour your brother over you because he's blind and she thinks he can't help himself?" Lilith let out a nervous laugh afterwards. "Me mum's a counsellor, i can pick out small things. Sorry if i'm intruding..."

Astrid nodded. So many people wanted her to come stay with them, she felt so important. "That'd be pretty cool, I've never been to England." She thought about her mother and Kristof, they were all incredibly close, the only family she'd ever had. Her mother had forbidden any contact with their father and any other family when they moved to New York. She never complained, a mother was all she needed. She nodded. "Yeah, she dotes on him a lot, and tries to keep him home where she can keep an eye on him, but I feel really bad for him. He always gets all this s**t from all these other people who don't think he's capable of anything but coming from our mother, it's got to be pretty bad. I don't think she means it that way though. She's just trying to keep him safe." But what about me? she thought, this voice her own, She probably only came over here because she didn't want Kris to be over here by himself. She didn't even say a word to me! Trying to change the subject, she said, "So what's up with your dad?"

Lilith listened quietly. She'd seen so many people come through her parents clinic to be rehabilitated to prove to friends and family they can work again. "You and Kristof would be perfect help at my parents clinic. They rehabilitate people with workplace injuries. You seem to know what you're talking about and are really kind, and Kristof is an example of how people can manage on their own." And she clasped her hands together, moving out from under the pay phones a little. "Dad was hit by a drunk driver a few weeks before i came here. He was walking home from the shops. He can't drive." She added, smiling a little. "He's blind in one eye due to a work place accident. He's been researching corneal transplants to see if it's possible it might work for him." And her eyes darkened, the angry feeling coming back over her. "If mum and i had been quicker coming back from Nan's, we could've taken him out... But we weren't. And the still haven't found the man who injured my father!" And she punched the floor, the new feeling overwhelming her. Blinking, shocked, she turned to Astrid. "I wasn't like this before the carnival. I never got angry..." And she closed her eyes, rubbing her head. The voice was back, but she couldn't make out what it was saying. It was annoying.

Harper smiled at Kristof. It was sweet how he and his mother conversed. It reminded her of her own mother. Her mama was pretty much all she'd had her whole life. Her tată[father] was always out at the military base and traveling around with his 'war buddies'. Harper smiled at Kristof but then looked at Astrid. She doesn't seem to be getting too much attention from their mother... unlike Kristof... She was pretty good at observing things, but she didn't even have to try here. It was pretty obvious. She bit her bottom lip and let out a smile, waving slightly at their mom when Kristof mentioned a 'friend' had let them stay with her. She beamed when he called her a friend, but knew that it was only for easier terms.
Harper glanced up at Ryouya and smiled, arching an eyebrow. "Well we could all travel together maybe?" She suggested lightly, glancing back at Kristof. More more more.... more people. Everything's more fun with more people... She blinked and then was brought back to reality. A piece of deep red hair fell over her left eye, and she didn't bother brushing it away.
A loud pounding sound was heard out in the hall way after Astrid and Lilith had gone out there, and that slightly worried Harper. If one of my new friends are hurt then I wont have as many friends... she thought to herself worriedly. Harper then placed her soft hand on top of Kristof's, and looked over to him. "I will be right back. I'm going to go see what's wrong with Lilith and Astrid," she said lightly and sort of sweetly, smiling at Kristof.
Harper got up and moved somewhat quickly to Astrid and Lilith out in the hallway, brushing against Ryouya's shoulder on the way. She turned around and smiled at him sheepishly. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'll repay you for that later," she murmured in Japanese. Her amber eyes went wide and she wondered what she'd just said. "Uh, I don't know where that came from... I'm... sorry..." she murmured and ran out of the room. She lingered against the wall and listened to the two girls' conversation, deciding to butt in. "Lilith, you don't have to go back without friends.... you can stay at my house too if you want. We could all stay at my house. It's really lonely there anyways. I live by myself..." she added in sheepishly, afraid they'd be mad for butting into their conversation. I just want them to like me so that they'll stay with me longer.... she thought to herself.

Edward groaned as he sat up in the hospital bed and rubbed his aching shoulders. How was he still alive? The last thing he remembered was being at a festival and... that was it. He remembered something of an accident, and the rest was all a blur to him. "Ouch..." he muttered as he looked around the room, causing his neck to crack a little. His whole body was stiff, as he been out cold for 3 days straight. He was about to get up, when suddenly he realized he was in a hospital. 'Oooooh, what happened? Why am I here?' he thought as he looked straight ahead blankly. 'Now how did I get HERE?' he questioned himself as he laid his head back onto his pillow. He felt... different, somehow. He couldn't tell if it was in a good or bad way. Just that he felt... changed. He looked around to find he was alone, and the very thought disgusted him. He felt the need to be surrounded by people. He had always been social, but he never felt like this before.

Lilith looked up, and saw Harper standing there. "Oh, hey." She said quietly, still a little embarrassed for losing control. She looked over at Astrid and then back at Harper. "I'd have to call my mother first, she gets worried easily." And she slowly stood back up, holding out a hand to help up Astrid, a soft smile on her face. "Here, let me help you up." Lilith's bright green eyes were warm, and they stood out in contrast to her dark hair and pale skin.

Astrid listened the Lilith's story, a solemn look on her face. "I'm really sorry to hear that, but you need to realize that it's not your fault. Things happen. Is he going to be alright?" she asked, and when Lilith offered her hand she took it, pulling herself up. "Thanks." She didn't care where she was staying as long as it was exciting and full of people to interact with, but really, she just didn't want to go home and face her mother. She'll never love me the way she loves him... the voice said, and Astrid felt a stabbing pain in her head, but she ignored it.

Smiling a little, Lilith looked at the two girls in front of her. "So uh, how about we all go back to Harper's room and see what the rest of us want to do? Maybe we should all go somewhere more... Private." Her accent and voice sounded positive and strong and she turned back to walk up the hall to Harpers room, feeling confident knowing she was getting closer to finding out who hurt her, and everyone else. She nearly ran into the guy that offered to show everyone around as she walked through the door. "Sorry!" She said in Japanese before taking back her place next to the bed. Looking at the guy, she raised an eyebrow. "You said something about a tour yeah? Feel like taking everyone for one now?" Lilith asked in English, her voice and accent flowing with a daring, almost seductive tone, but still fair sweet. She turned to Kristof, forgetting how good looking he was. "Hey Kristof, whats something you've always wanted to do, in a foreign country, without your mother watching every step you take?" She asked, in English, her voice still carrying the same enticing tone as she tried to ignore the dark voice in the back of her head. 'Why do you want to waste time talking to them when you could be getting revenge!'

Kristof jumped slightly when Lilith suddenly sat down and began talking to him, but that sort of thing happened a lot so he was used to it. "Hmm, I guess drive but I don't think that's legal." he said, and thought about it some more. "I think I'd just like to go out with some friends and party." he blushed, slightly embarrassed. "It's kind of lame I guess." His friends went to a lot of parties back home in New York, shady ones in abandoned warehouses and crazy bashes in penthouse apartments. For some reason unknown to him he'd been relatively popular in school and got invited to most of them but he was never able to go to any of them.

{[Anyone got any good idea's for a song for Wrath/Lilith?? I'm stuck for ideas xD ]} While waiting for a reply from the other guy in the room, Lilith turned around and sat cross-legged on the bed, facing Kristof. Her body gave an involuntary shudder as the voice started rambling incoherently again, but she shrugged it off as she listened to Kristof. "It's not lame, thats something i've always wanted to do." And she chuckled, embarrassed. "No-one ever invited me to parties and such, i was one of the "rejects" at school". And she began to fiddle with the brass buckle on her red tartan slip on's, before tightening the balls at the end of her small septum bar. She sighed almost silently, turning around to see where Astrid and Harper were. 'Those popular kids weren't worth anything... You'll show them, you'll show them a different kind of pain.' Closing her eyes at the voice, Lilith waited a few seconds before speaking again, her voice softer, her accent almost beautifully sad. "I guess being a tattooed, pierced artist who didn't dress mainstream wasn't good enough for them. Huh, oh well. At least people here seem to like me ok..." And she turned around to face the door, falling backwards across the bed. "I guess i'll just always be the 'token emo-loner kid...'." And she looked at the roof while the dark voice continued to tell her what she should be doing.

((Um...maybe something really thrashy, like System of a Down or Drowning Pool? ))
Kristof tilted his head to the side. "Huh, sounds like Astrid," he said, then turned to his sister, who he could sense was getting angry with him, "not that you were a reject or anything like that! People liked you in school, but you never talked to anyone so they just gave up and left you alone."
Astrid shrugged. It was true, back then she'd pushed most people away from her. But now she wished she could go back and do things differently. Become friends with everyone, hook up with random boys in the staff bathroom, make everyone love her. She turned to Lilith. "Too bad you didn't go to school with us. We went to a school with a huge arts program, half the student population were inked and pierced and apathetic towards life."
