That episode was amazing......but I still cried my eyes out!!!!
I think that was such a good way for Godric to go! That little touching scene where Godric and Eric were talking and Eric was begging for him to live and not do this.... crying I wasn't crying so much in the part when Sookie stayed with him but I thought the sad music and there little talk was so sweet!
I'm glad that Sookie and Jason bonded. I'm really beginning to like Jason, and that is saying something.
=D I was so happy when Laffayette beat the crap out of Eggs! I was surprised because I thought Laffayette would get beatin down, then again Laffayette does have eric's blood in him.......
Once again HOYT AND JESSICA!!! I'm really likeing this couple! I really hope they stay together and this whole Maxine thing don't get in the way of that!
SAM WENT TO ANDY WTF????? I was surprised and at the same time I thought, how is andy going to help sam. When I saw the fly flying around that laffayette and eggs part and Tara practicly sreaming bloodly murder I thought ok sam is going to go to Laffayette and Lattie. BUT NO he goes to andy....
I actually think this maryann storyline is getting better, and that is good because I think thats what the last three episode will be about.....

Kage_Komori @Jordyn -- While I agree with you that I wish some things could be closer to the books, I rather like that its different. After all, this isn't supposed to be a TV adaptation of the books. Its a TV show that is based in part from the books.
Besides, Charlaine really doesn't have a say in what they do. She's not really included in their production. So even if she had something to say I'm not sure it would make much of a difference.
And its kind of fun not knowing what exactly is going to happen. Its like being able to read the books all over again.
I have to agree with you though, I'm getting really irritated with some of the characters. Especially Sookie. She's just....really annoying. She wasn't like this in the books and I wish they'd keep her more honest to her character. You have some good points. The most recent episode has been named my most favorite episode so far. SHE SUCKED THE BULLETS OUT OF HIS CHEST. That amazed me that they actually went through with it. And the dream. Oh... the dream. Tonight that will be my dream, with me as Sookie. Thiiiis close to seeing his butt. It was so hard not to cry when Eric was crying. And I cried when Godric met the sun. The Eric and Godric scene was beautiful, and I'm so happy they did that. I'm loving Hoyt<3

This episode is like a mix of a zombie movie and the Exorcist.
But that part at the beginning made me happy.

I loved last weeks episode: Erice erice eric! the bullet...the comments... the dream! heart heart heart
And this weeks was good. Even if it had basically no eric in it (except the beginning... smile ) But I absolutely *died* from laughter with Jason. I was never a Jason fan - books or show- but these past two episodes have definitely changed my mind. Especially as he walks into Merlottes with a chainshaw and nail gun!
And then "Smite me!" ? heart heart heart heart heart
Finally: I can't remember if these aspects were introduced this early in the books or not but I love them in the show : the powers/hand and the queen.

When I was watching that episode I was confused.....but in a good way!!! There was a bunch of things happening all at once!
First off in the beginnig with the dream..well lets just say not for a single second I thought it was a dream and I was freaking out.....but in a good way. I'm actually glad it was a dream though.....lol that would be moving to fast for me.
JASON IS AWESOME!!!! He is becoming my favorite character so fast......sorry Eric but you are moving slowly to 2nd.....
I thought the Sookie glow-hand thing was a bit dumb......lol I'm pretty sure I know the reason of why but why do they got to add that now?? So soon in the series??

I'm torn about last nights episode. I loved G.I. Jason but hated the whole Sookie exorcism thing what a lame effect. I still hate Bill and love Eric BTW where was he last night it was like he fell off the face of the earth. Surely, Alan knows how many Eric fans there are and how disappointed we are to not get our "fix" for the week. I miss Godrick even though his day job is for European Disney Channel. With 2 episodes left, what's going to happen? Oh and another thing, somewhere I flipped between the stories I loved and the ones I hated. Like I didn't like Jasons story but now I do, I hated Jessica but now I can't wait to see what happens...What's with that?!

Its like they want us to hate the characters that we normally love and love the characters that we normally hate. Its so weird!
But like everyone else I totally loved Jason in this episode. I'm so glad that they are developing his character like this. I kind of wish Charlaine Harris had done this with him in the books.
Riku I agree with you about the hand thing. That didn't happen in the books, right? I don't know why her doing that seems so familiar but I know that isn't how it happened before. She hasn't done that in the books so far, has she?
Those who have read the books can highlight the following to see what I'm thinking.
I'm wondering if it was her fae heritage protecting her, or just Claudine. I know that there was a moment in the first season/book where they were going to introduce her but they cut it out.
Or maybe they are going to do it backwards from the books and introduce her fae blood first and then introduce Claudine and Claude.
Oh I can't wait to see who they cast for Claude. >D
I don't know if I'm ready for the season to be over already. T^T

When I saw the hand, I immediately went: OH the fae story line. It never even occured to me that it might be Claudine. I assumed they were cutting her and Claude out, just like poor Bubba...

God save the Queen!
How does Alan Ball know how to take the characters I normally hate and turn them into someone I love? Sophie Anne was just fantastic! I don't know who I love more, her or Pam. You know those two would just be a riot if left together for too long.
I find that I'm rather intrigued by the way they are taking this Maenad business. While it is way out there (and I do mean way) I do find it interesting. I do wish that they would have at least made Eric a little smarter to the situation. I was really hoping to see him in Lycra. *sigh* And I really wanted to hear the conversation between Sookie and he about him playing a gay guy.
Speaking of, there simply wasn't enough Eric in this episode. Especially with that suit he has on! Wow! Talk about sex on two legs.
I'm sad that its almost over. I'm even more horrified that we have to wait another two weeks for the finale. Its just not fun.
But this entire scene with the Queen has me wondering about something to do with the books. Book readers can highlight what I'm thinking.
The Queen saying that she wants to meet Sookie really makes me wonder if they are going to keep the twist with Bill being ordered to come see her. Although Eric bringing up the point about how he made Sookie have his blood the first night they met does make me think they might be going that way. I really hope they do. Not just because I want Bill & Sookie to be over (which I do) but because that was such a pivotal point in the books.
Watching the previews for the finale though, I'm afraid they might try to make Eric a part of it, which he wasn't until he learned what the Queen had planned. If they do that then its really going to ruin Eric's character. He's supposed to come to care for Sookie, but if he does it just for the Queen's sake then its all for naught.
Ugh I hope they don't screw this up.
