"Oh..." She trailed off hearing his answer. She was regretting asking the question. "Thats so sad...Are you alright?" And she caught herself just in time before she said Im sorry. It was a pointless thing to say, everyone said it, yes, but it didn't actually mean that one was sorry. And they should not be apologizing for something they had nothing to do with...

"Things happen,not much you can do.I'm fine,just makes me wish i had a father figure there."Brian looked around and thought about it.His father never really talked to them after his mother had him and taja.He uped and left after that.Taja never ever came to see him either.

Selena nodded slowly, a bit in a daze. It made her feel a little safer in these new lands now that she knew she was not the only one with hardships in her life. She had always known that there were other Soquili that had hard lives, but she had never met any...Now she had...
She looked around as well. She looked at the trees, the water, and at the sky. She watched the red light in the East. The sun rise.
"Its getting late..."She whispered.

Brian knew what she was thinking,not that he could read her mind."Everyone has horrible lives Selena,not just one.Some parents just do it for the kids,but some just do it because they supposeably love that one.But then they don't,and they go to the next."Brian looked at her and tugged on her mane."I'll take you home."

Selena smiled. "Your right," She thought of her parents. Had they loved each other through thick and thin? She had few memories of her mother but even fewer of her father. Did it mean something?
She felt him tug on her silvery mane and nodded. "Thank you so much for tonight Brain. I think Ive understood more about myself tonight than I have in a long time." She nuzzled him and began to walk toward the edge of the mountain range, where her teepee resided.
[hey I was wondering if I could introduce my other Soquili when we get to the teepee, he's really obnoxious and I just received co-ownie rights to him recently and I haven't had much time to break in his muse yet. xD]

Brian listened to her and closed his eyes.Things always happened,not much any one could do about it.He sighed lightly and looked at her."No problem.Everyone desurves to understand themselfs at one point.Even if it takes until the day you die."Brian nuzzled her back and looked around.

"Well Im glad that I am understanding myself now, and not when I die," she said jokingly. She smiled at herself and Brain. She had never joked around anyone before. It seemed that his presence really let her open up and learn more about herself.
They walked in silence, watching the stars and the the quickly rising sunshine spread across the now pink sky. Soon enough they reached Selena's teepee. She turned to him and said quietly, "Thanks for walking me home, its nicer with company. I hope to see you around?" Just then She heard a rusteling in the teepee. It was singing.
Rockstar peeps his head out of the teepee hearing hoof steps, and seeing Selena he jumps out to greet her. "Welcome home! Welcome to your sweet, sweet home!"
He doesn't even notice Brain.

Brian nodded."No problem,if i brought you all the way out there i mise well bring you home."Brian smiled as he seen this black stallion trumbling towards them.The stallion didn't even notice him.Backing away a little he pinned his ears back.

Rockstar continued to sing, oblivious to Brain. "The night has been lonely with out you my sweet, won't you join inside our HOME...?" When he closed the song with his surprisingly high note he opened his eyes and smiled at Selena.
Selena frowned and glared at him, "Rockstar! What are yo doing? Stop singing, you'll wake Anope up!" Anope was the native who lived in the teepee and had saved Selena's life when she was still a foal.
"Stop your noise and get back inside!" She was huffing and puffing and she just wanted him out of the way.
"Aww! Selena, your so strict! Learn to loosen up a little! And where have you been all night? Its almost morning!" He said sticking his tongue out. And that was when he noticed Brain.
"Hey! Who's your friend? I didn't know you were capable of making friends! Did you hypnotize him or something, with your wicked witch of the west powers?" He said with a smirk. He was in no way bothered by the fact that there were two Soquili before him, and neither seemed too happy to see him.
