Personality: Power isn't the only strength and it certainly isn't Chenai's. This lovely little duchess is a little on the quiet side amongst her family given their grand size, but she's a genuinely warm and gentle girl. Amongst friends, guests and strangers alike she is always welcoming and pleasant, the perfect socialite. For being a descendant of the militaristic North House however, Chenai can certainly be found wanting for physical strength and her lackluster skills as a tactician leave much to be desired. She, however, makes up for the areas where found wanting with the strength of her character. Chenai has been ingrained with the need to do the right thing no matter the consequences and likewise possesses a passion that is hard to match. Her curiosity towards the other houses is nearly overflowing and ever since she was young she has been caught repeatedly sneaking into the territories of the other houses to learn more about what kind of lions they are and if they're all really as different as the pride makes them all seem.

Chenai Entry Name: Inkume Cub: Female Name of Cub: Chenai || Yin Xiàn Meaning of Name: "Pure in Heart" || Silver Lining {Literally "Silver Thread/Line"} Personality: Power isn't the only strength and it certainly isn't Chenai's.
Prompt Response She stared at him with eyes, silver as the moonlight, expression pondering at the vision of the unfamiliar lion. Yin had always been one to follow the strength of her heart, possessing neither the qualities that her parents thought so crucial. Relying heavily on her ability to judge a person's character and in knowing her own so definitely, set and stubborn in her beliefs. Yet in this instance and for the first time, the young duchess felt great uncertainty and doubt. Her heart, which had always been able to sense the truest path, now wavered in the face of the stranger.
He wished to see her father, the Lord of the North house and at first she had only been too eager to aid him. However, as they drew closer to her elder brother and she provided idle chatter like a polite and genial hostess, her dodgy companion's hesitation to answer her questions or skirt them entirely caused her to pause in her tracks. Formour, was the name he had called himself by, but it felt wrong somehow. He felt wrong, causing the ebony stripe of fur to stand on end along her spine. It went against everything Yin Xiàn had been taught to question an adult at such a tender age as she was, but given the circumstances and the way her confidence writhed in his presence she was willing to take the chance of offending him and possibly damaging her father's reputation and relationship with the stranger.
Yin could handle her punishment knowing that she had done right by herself. When one possessed no strength of body or strength of mind all she had to rely on was the strength of her heart.
Skidding in front of the tall male, the tiny duchess tried to thwart him, pressing obsidian paws into the earth with little intention to let him pass. "Wa-Wait. I.. I forgot something back there. We should... you should come with me to retrieve it!"
"But we're already so close now, surely it could wait this visit is already long over due," there was mistrust in the the so called "Formour"'s eyes as he raised a brow in question as if seeing through her less than clever ruse. His cunning far outmatched her own, yet the expression that crawled across his face only made Yin more certain of herself and her gut instinct which told her not to let him approach any further.
"I... I'm sorry, but I can't let you come any closer than this. F-forgive me, but you.. you're not welcome here." Admitting honestly though with great reluctance, her stare was steeled with her decision, never averting from the face that twisted with impatience or allowing his rising irritation to sway her into submission. Dark eyes had already begun to smolder with the cub's defiance his voice lowering to a sinister pitch. Lowering his head so that Yin could feel his breath hot against her ear, causing her shoulders to scrunch and her ears to quiver.
"Not welcome? Is that any way to speak to an old friend of your father? I imagine he'll be quite cross with you when I mention it." Yet the male's tone held no humor as he began to step past the ivory and ebony colored duchess. The idea distracted her for the moment, wincing at the mental; image fo her father's displeased expression. She loved him, even if she feared his irrational temper, though it had never been directed at her personally. And it made her bleed with sorrow to disgrace him, but she couldn't--no wouldn't deny her feelings. Scrambling under paw to stand before Formour again with stiff posture.
Opening her mouth to pipe a tight lipped warning, there wasn't any time to speak. Her breath catching as she was batted aside and the stranger had made a break for a rise of rocks away from the single guard. A cry lifting from her maw tight and dry with the wind that had been knocked from her as Yin Xiàn scrambled to gather her wits and give chase. "X-Xun! Help! He's getting away!"
Edit: lol. Cutting it close. Really wanted to enter. <33
