((Sorry! sweatdrop Work has just made me so tired lately...but wow Mirouni you really dominated. Also, I'll post using her sword cuz I'm just about to post and finish her training))
Now having reached the ground, the hollows slowly started to surround Victa. "Oh jeez, I've never seen this many at once before..." She muttered to herself while drawing her zanpakto like her fellow squad mate had advised. "I can't be surrounded like this; I've got to break the circle!" She spun around quickly, seeing if there was any weak spot she could start on. As she did this, one of the nearer hollows broke the circle and charged at her, apparently a little hungrier than the others. Instantly slashing down on its face, Victa took her opportunity. Raising her fist and jumping over the now fallen corpse, she shouted, "Bakudo number eight, Seki!" As she landed she broke into run, holding her new shield in front of her and slashing any hollow that hit it and got in her way.

((Whoohooo! More people! And what can I say.. I had some free time, thought I would devote it to kicking some hollow bootay. Besides we have three days to kill 800 hollow. We need some action up in hurr.))
Kiisho resembled a small storm of fists and steel as he wove his wave through the next group of Hollow. The red mist had deepened to a haze now, and with each cut, he fell further into his trance.
A hollow rose before him, swinging down a pointed arm towards his head, hopeful to crush him. With a single slash, the arm fell, the brutes mask not far behind. Three more rose to take the place of the one that fell however, and Kiisho had to move quickly to avoid being crushed by the onslaught of attacks. He leaped onto the first's knee, cutting a long gash along it's leg as he did. When he reached the mask, he sliced it from the right corner up. Leaping forward, he drove first the butt-cap of his blade into the next hollow's mask, then flipped the zanpakutou around and stabbed deep into the flesh. As the second of the third fell, ten hollow suddenly joined the one who remained.
With a deep breath, Kiisho spun, striking the first oncoming hollow across the face with his heel. He dropped into a low crouch, coming up with a stab to the face of one hollow, he twirled, stabbing and slashing two more, then leaped forward with two stabs, shattering the masks of the hollow he met.
six now stood before him, but he did not slow. He thrust a finger out, and with a shout, shot a bolt of white lightning through another two of the remaining hollow.
With a final cry of "Shakkaho!" The last four hit the ground, dissipating into darkness.

Kiisho lowered his still smoldering hand and took a few steps forward. The red-haze was beginning to fade now, and he knew that he would need to rest soon.
Despite that realization, he launched himself into the the next wave with gusto, blade eager for more death.
The first two hollow rose before him, each falling from a horizontal slash to the face. The next fell harder, and took several slashes, but fell just the same. On and on Kiisho slashed and stabbed, his limbs growing numb from the continued effort. But he would not let up, would not stop, not until this blasted horde had been eliminated.

Kiisho was tired, tired of fighting, tired of the constant onslaught of ugly brutes that attacked him from every angle, and just plain tired of moving.
As he cut through another hollow though, he knew that he could not be stopping anytime soon, and that he would need to press onward, no matter what the cost.
He slashed through the last hollow from the previous group and took a moment to sit, closing his eyes and feeling for the spark of light deep within him. He knew that a fair amount of his reiatsu had been sealed, and that in order to reach his full potential he would need to release it, but the farthest he had gone so far was to be able to pull power from that reserve at the cost of great pain.
He found the spark, and grasped it with his mind, allowing the light to engulf his frame. Almost immediately, the seal on his shoulder shone with a brilliant red light, searing his flesh with a terrible pain.
Kiisho ground his teeth and stood slowly to his feet. This was no time to give up, no matter how much pain he was in.
A new group of hollow approached from his left, and he turned to intercept them.
Kiisho brought his zanpakutou up before his face, blade glinting in the light. A single finger from his free hand touched the spine of the blade, and he whispered a kidou, releasing a burst of reiatsu into the attack.
"Byakurai"
The blast of lightning struck his blade, and followed the reiatsu tendrils he had placed there, splitting into twelve separate beams of lightning as the went, each one piercing the head of a hollow.

His spirit renewed, Kiisho continued his assault as the next group of hollow approached. He assumed the familiar position of a shiatsu assault, and a diabolical grin spread across his face.
"Byakurai!" he shouted, releasing a blast of lightning into the nearest hollow. As the blast was released, he spun, thrusting forth again and again, twirling and spinning through the kata and shouting "Byakurai!" with every attack. The pain in his shoulder intensified, but Kiisho continued casting, whirling about in a maelstrom of lightning. One by one, all eighteen of the hollow before him fell.

As the last of the eighteen fell, Kiisho spun and drew his zanpakutou, throwing himself into the next wave. This wave was the largest he had faced so far, but that did not stop him. He slashed up and out at the first, then down fast and hard onto the face of the second. With a yell, he resumed his spinning and stabbing, this time accentuating it with bolts of lightning from his left hand as he went.
It was slightly slow progress, and he sustained a few fresh cuts, but the hollow could not withstand his relentless assault for long. Soon all twenty-one had been slain.

Wave after wave of hollow fell from the sky onto the now blood-spattered training field. The seal on Kiisho's shoulder burned white-hot in the dim light, and his arms felt as if they would fall off at any moment. Despite the disadvantages, Kiisho knew in his heart that he had to keep moving, he had to keep fighting. So on he pressed, spinning into the next wave and cutting low, knocking three hollow onto the ground. The first two died from quick stabs to the mask, the last from a bolt of lightning to the chest. Five more sprung up in front of him, and again his blade slashed through the air, flashing briefly. He fired four more bolts of lightning into the mass of hollow, three of them meeting the mark.
As the masses of the remaining hollow converged on him, Kiisho exploded in a flurry of lightning and steel, splattering blood and mask shards across the ground.

:A bit frazzled, Suri entered the fray slightly later than she had intended. It had not been for lack of notice - that would have been ignorant of her. Rather, she had been waiting to finish up some zanpaku~to training for newer members so that they could defend themselves and gain experience in the fight.
Seeing Kiisho, Victaaga, and Nero already battling their way through the mess, Suri hurriedly swept back the loose strands of hair from her eyes so that she could take in the situation as a whole. Since she had come straight from training, she was still in her demon red-white kimono, rather than her usual battle clothes, thus making it harder for her to use her zanpaku~to. Instead, she would be relying on a fair amount of kido to take out her opponents.
Flicking her zanpaku~to out from its sheath, Suri grabbed the hilt with her right hand and whispered the incantation to activate it instantly, knowing full well how much damage her plan would be able to inflict.
"Frost over and be still, Touketsu~shin!" Suri called, as a blue light emanated from her left hand.
Instead of summoning the snowflake form of her blade, Suri had opted for the broadsword version. She held the blade much like a base-ball bat, and swung in the same motion as she released the kido in her left hand, commanding, "Hado number thirty-three, Sokatsui!"
Upon contact with the blade, the kido exploded into hundreds of icicle shards which flew towards the hollow a distance away. Since the attack had an expanding radius, Suri had been careful to aim at hollows in a cluster further from the rest of the squad members.
Once the icicle shards, oddly entwined with blue fires of spiritual energy, pierced the hollows around, Suri felt a grim pleasure in the numerous, high-pitched death wails. At the same time, she could not help but feel sad for the destruction of souls that had once been human.:

((Yay!! Finally some back up. XD))
Kiisho felt a new surge of hope as Suri arrived on the scene. Now perhaps things would move a bit faster. As he watched her dispatch her foes however, a new, larger group of hollow had snuck up on him.
Kiisho barely had time to react as the first of the group attacked, swinging a bludgeon-like arm at his head. He dropped low, the arm passing harmless above him, then slashed up quickly with a quick shout, severing the creatures mask in two. As he saw the rest of the group approaching, he knew he had to act fast.
Two balls of reiatsu shot from his hands, forming twin shields, one at the center of the group, and one on the edge. Kiisho dropped into a low run, circling the group as he picked up speed.
"Byakurai!" The bolt of white lightning struck the shield in the center of the group, then reflected onto the second.
Kiisho instantly formed a third shield at the proper point, then released the bolt of lightning, leaving it to bounce back and forth between the three shields. With a flick of his wrist and a howl of pain, the three shields - and the lightning, spun in a deadly circle, slicing all of the remaining group in half.

:Upon seeing how effective Mirouni's method of attacking was, Suri decided to form something similar, although the way she was planning to do it would take into better use her shikai and kido abilities. It would have to be more effective - ever since her first attack hit, the hollows were far more aware of her presence. A swarm was already starting to descend upon her, attempting to swallow her into their mass.
For quick defense purposes, but also for her own plan of attack, Suri quickly summoned a shield directly in front of her, creating it to be roughly six feet in diameter.
"Bakudo number thirty-nine, Enkosen!" Suri muttered, letting the reiatsu flow out of her open palm and materialize roughly twenty feet from her.
It was enough to hold back the first few hollows, especially since she was able to have such concentrated amounts of reiatsu without draining her reservoir. For the next part though, she decided to downgrade her hado, even though she had plenty of spiritual energy to spare. Shakkoho would be easier to hit through the shield with a lot of force, and it could be concentrated towards the shield's center in order to shatter and disseminate the shards.
Again, using her left hand to summon the kido, Suri called out, "Hado number thirty one, Shakkaho!"
As soon as the red ball of fire left her hand and flew into the air, she swung her sword again, this time more like a tennis racket, and aimed the kido straight through the middle of the shield. When her zanpaku~to came into contact with the hado, it turned into a furiously whizzing ball of ice with red flames flickering throughout, and it gained in speed and intensity, building up momentum to crash through the shield.
Blocked slightly by the amber colored shield which altered their vision, the hollows slowly, stupidly, continued to advance, unaware of the attack that was to come. Too late did they realize their predicament when the Shakkaho ice ball smashed through the shield, infusing the fragments of the shield with the same energy of hado and shikai abilities. Hundreds of shards shredded through hollow skin and limbs, most of the time spearing straight through the heads and dissipating the spirit.
Satisfied at how effective that mode of attack had been, Suri turned quickly to where Kiisho was, giving him a nod of thanks and appreciation for the idea.:

Kiisho grinned as he saw Suri improve on his method and gave her a quick wave of his hand before launching his next attack.
A group of roughly twenty-four hollow rushed towards him, each one howling for blood.
Kiisho knew that his zanpakutou would not be effective against a group that large in its current state, and that he would have to rely yet again on his kidou.
The strain from his shoulder seal was beginning to wear on him, and he knew that he would have to make each spell count.
He took a deep breath, then launched into a series of incantations.
"Hainawa! Geki!" Ropes of reiatsu shot forth from Kiisho's hands, each one striking a hollow in the face. A bright red light followed the ropes, binding the heads of each hollow in place, and preventing the removal of the ropes. Kiisho focused the reiatsu from the ropes into his left hand, giving the appearance of him holding a pack of dogs by their leashes. He brought the index finger of his right hand across his body and placed it in the center of the ropes, allowing the reiatsu from his hand to meld with that of the ropes.
"Converge light into spaces of darkness! Hadou number one, Byakurai!" He shouted, releasing the blast of lightning into his palm.
Rather than piercing his palm, as one would expect, the lightning shot out along each rope, following the grim puppet strings to the heads of each of the twenty-four hollow.
In a shower of blood, they fell, corpses turning to shadowy dust as they did.

:Even though the complicated methods were effective in ridding the place of hollows, Suri decided that she needed something more efficient. Trying to create and maintain a variety of kido took away valuable time.
This was demonstrated when a skinny, snake like hollow lunged at her, flicking out its tongue and attempting to pierce her through her right shoulder. Executing a quick back-flip, Suri used her feet to kick up and clamp the hollow's mouth shut, planting her two hands on the ground and using the same motion to vault a fair distance away. It was obvious that with such a sinewy body, the hollow was capable of moving at much greater speeds. Her attacks would also have to increase in order to keep up with the onslaught.
"Hado number one, Sho!" Suri yelled out.
Instead of using her left hand to channel kido as she had done previously, Suri instead sent the kido blasting out from her zanpaku~to's broadsword form. In the same motion, she swept the sword in a vertical, horizontal, and two diagonal cuts, knowing full well that with each swing, the blast from the blad would cause ice shards to go flinging out. With Sho added on, the icicles would gain momentum and ferocity, thus ridding themselves of the fire and spiritual energy bases from her previous attacks, but giving them more physically damaging power.
While the new attack did not destroy the hollows' bodies as completely as the last few, it still served its purpose. Multiple lacerations appeared on the bodies of the nearest hollows, along with lighter wounds and punctures on the bodies of hollows further away from the main radius of Suri's attack. If anything, she had managed to kill the ones nearest her, while also impeding the efforts of the ones closer to her comrades.:

Kiisho snapped the reiatsu ropes back into himself, absorbing the energy that remained.
The next group of hollow was almost upon him already, and he knew that he could not let up for even a moment.
"Hainawa" He whispered, summoning the ropes once again, this time causing them to bind into a twisted rope that attached itself to the end on his zanpakutou. The effect was slightly crude, but no less uselful.
With a flick of his wrist, Kiisho snapped out with the newly-formed blade-whip, bringing it across at a sharp angle into the group of hollow.
Again and again he struck, using his reiatsu control to ensure the outcome of each strike.

((Two days to take out 540 hollow.. I think we can do it guys.))
Kiisho snapped his zanpakutou back to his hand and awaited the next attack.
The next wave was slightly smaller than the one before, but no less vicous.
All the same, Kiisho attacked the hollow with renewed vigor, taking the first between the eyes, and the next two in the chest. Twelve more hollow converged upon him, but he would not be stopped. He ducked low, slashing the knees of three more hollow, then dispatching them each in turn with quick stabs to the mask. A further three fell to a long horizontal slash, then three more to a series of cuts and lunges. The final three hollow began to circle Kiisho, but he was faster. Gripping the reiatsu rope from his previous assault, he spun the whip once, a full circle slash that cut across the faces of all three remaining hollow.

Kiisho dashed forward after the circle attack, his blade fluttering behind him like a razor sharp ribbon in the wind.
When he reached the next group of hollow, he ground to a halt and snapped the blade forward, piercing three through the head.
Twenty more hollow rose up before him, and he slashed forward again and again, dodging strikes all the while. Twice he had to grip his blade in his hand, and once he even used the rope of reiatsu to break a hollow's neck.
He fought onward, ducking and slicing through the group, determined to kill them all.
When the dust settled, he stood tall, with a further twenty-three down, and over five-hundred to go.
