because everyone else accidentaly drank some of Erik's memory erasing potion that he uses on those who see his face, and they all forgot to ntake the antidote Erik uses just in case he drinks it. (although,if your memory was erased, wouldn't you kind of not remember the antidote existed...?)
what is this amazing potion made from?

because in her family hating someone means 'I Love You' and loving someone means 'I Hate You' and Erik didn't know that.
