The music, so beautiful in its solitude, screeched to a halt with the sudden loud grating of the piano bench across the wooden floor and the ringing of the girl's anger in his ears. Miki's eyes widened in fright as she berated him for eavesdropping on her playing. He flinched as if the sudden change in noise had actually physically hurt him, and he stopped humming immediately. His eyes filled with tears at being the brunt of such anger and his arms wrapped around to hug himself for comfort.
But then her entire demeaner changed in an instant and she was suddenly quiet with awe. Miki could not bring himself to stare at her - still afraid of her wrath right now - but he was very confused. Did she just call him 'Nico'? He glanced about for signs of anyone else in the auditorium, though they were the only two in there. His name was Miki . . . wasn't it?

Who is this girl? What is she doing? Miki thought to himself, looking down at their connected hands and feeling the cool touch of metal between them. Pulling his hand out from under hers he saw a coin in the centre of his palm. This time he did look at her curiously. And why is she giving me her money?
Miki stood there for a few moments fondling the coin with his fingers. He knew exactly what he needed to do, he couldn't take something that didn't belong to him. Reaching out with his hand he shook his head to refuse this gesture of weird charity. She's mistaking me for this 'Nico' guy. He told himself while waiting for her to accept the coin back.

Nataziya wandered into the Glass Violin, vastly impressed by the lovely notes that drifted through the air. Then the music had stopped suddenly, and she heard a rushing of feet. Standing to the left side of the last row of seats, she look at Miki and the girl and wondered if they were practicing for a play.

He found himself standing outside the music room. He walked in and looked around. He saw a few people but he stayed clear of them. He walked to the vary back and sat down in a chair. He liked the room itself. It was large and quite nice. He noticed that the floor needed repair.
He leaned back and closed his eyes. He was calm and reletively tired. He soon drifted off into a light sleep. His dreams were filled with images of his family, welcoming him home from his long studdying at school. He smiled, even though his was sleeping. Joy had finally caught up to him after his long journey here.

He walked int o the music room sighing. As he entered the perfomance hall he saw a woman and a man hugging, crying. He didn't know why, but it reminded him of a song and he couldn't help, but sing. "Crucify my love If my love is blind Crucify my love If it sets me free Never know Never trust "That love should see before you" Crucify my love If it should be that way
Swing the heartache Feel it inside out When the wind cries I'll say goodbye Tried to learn Tried to find To reach out for eternity Where's the answer Is this forever
Like a river flowing to the sea You'll be miles away, and I will know I know I can deal with the pain No reason to cry
Crucify my love If my love is blind Crucify my love If it sets me free Never know Never trust "That love should before you" Crucify my love If it should be that way
'Til the loneliness shadows the sky I'll be sailing down and I will know I know I can clear clouds away Oh Is it a crime to love
Swing the heartache Feel it inside out When the wind cries I'll say goodbye Tried to learn Tried to find To reach out for eternity Where's the answer Is this forever
If my love is blind Crucify my love If it sets me free Never know Never trust "That love should see a before you" Crucify my love If it should be that way", he sang the last note holding it slightly longer than the rest. Clasping a hand over his mouth he quickly ducked down. What an idiot he had been he probally had just ruined the moment for them. Heis mind was frantic with thoughts, but the number one was escape.

He woke up slowly. He kept his eyes closed as he stood p and walked out, hands deep in the pockets of his pants. It took his a minute to get to the door from his seat in the back of the room. He needed fresh air. He thought he should go look for Scytheress.
She's a big girl. She can take care of her self you fool. She said not to get involved.
The rest of his thoughts followed the same lines. He muted them to clear his mind. He walked down the hall, heading away from the music hall. He should learn to play an instrument at some point, but not now.

Rivera sat at the piano, her fingers lightly touching the keys, her lavender eyes taking in every movement her hands make. The melody was sad and sweet, mysterious and deep, but she showed no emotion, however much the song she played sang its heart out. There was no written score for her songs, they were played from her heart, and never meant to be written down. This was the only way she knew how to fully express how she felt--through song. Her face seldom gave away a ghost of a hint to her inner self.
Her hands suddenly stopped when she came to a block. They glided over keys towards the sketchbook and pencil that lay by it. Flipping open to a half completed picture of a dolphin. The moment she began to draw, the keyboard moved on its own, and and she hummed to its melody, knowing each note before it came. These were her songs, and she could play from her heart by ear, by hand and by pencil. Scaling arpeggios lined the song in a tranquil sorrow, yet the notes indicated a faint bit of hope. As she drew, her foot moved the pedals. The shading appeared slowly but accurately and smoothly over the pencil image, every glisten and ripple of light underwater appeared bit by bit, piece by piece.
After several moments, she set down the sketchbook and played with her hands again, the pale violet eyes swirling with ripples and mists of green in her pleasure.

Entertainged by the room's liveliness, but feeling out of place, Nataziya's mind wandered to her dorm room and she suddenly remembered the map she had stuffed in a pocket.
"Mmmh, the dining hall. I'm famished."
And she was; so much so that she was tempted to eat the map. Taking a seat, she tried to orient the map, but only succeeded in confusing herself.
" crying "
