Nikky smiled. "Thanks Guys!" She said to Joseph and Kyuubi. She watched as Mitsukai went over to the exploding hand guy. He seemed like trouble, but who was Nikki to judge.

Her attention was distracted when Joseph suggested a game. "Let me guess..."She said, listing off the pool games she knew mentally. She hopped back in the water and swam over to Joseph, awaiting the selection of the game.

Daina arrived later than alot of her friends. Her parents were ever grateful to her since she cured her mother of cancer, and they had taken her out to eat as a good bye present. She went up to her room, and got changed into her pink and black bikini. Swimming is one tradition she made every year when she got to the school. Sort of a start of term thing.

When she got down to the pool, she found a few friends. "Thorne? Is that you?" She asked. She hadn't seen him in ages. The reason she actually met him is because they had similar talents. "Nikky! Mitsukai! Joseph! L! Kyubbi!" She yelled. Daina looked around for others in their usual group. "Hmm, I can't say the whole gang is here, though." She said, dropping her towel on a vacant chair, and diving into the pool. She surfaced by the group forming. "Did I hear something about Marco Polo?? NOT IT!"

They say ‘freak’ when you’re singled out.

Devon hated the training room. Not just kind of, but a lot. His trainer was a douche, and he was tired. He could feel himself weakening; he needed to eat before he kept going. However, the trainer was not so merciful. How it went down was the trainer would use the Battle Simulator to create a fake scenario of being on an enemy vessel. To make it more relevant to his interests, Devon manipulated the programming to make it a Klingon starship. He had to take down the ship in five minutes 1) without blowing himself up before the five minutes was up, and 2) make sure he destroyed it and didn't just wound it. They needed to be dead with no chance of survival. The first two times he'd done it, he'd thoroughly screwed the ship up, but ended up annihilating it too fast and blowing himself up before he got beamed out. Mister Trainer McDouchepants wasn't happy about this.

"Alright, we're gonna try this again. Don't blow it up before your alloted time." He had probably said this a million times. Devon sighed/growled.

"Sir, can I please take a break before I start again?" he pleaded angrily, hands in fists at his sides.

"After you get it right, you may have a break. Simulation starting in ten seconds. Get ready," he ordered, pressing a few buttons on the control PADD. Fine. If this was how he was going to play, then Devon would tango.

As promised, ten seconds later, he was 'transported' to the center of a Klingon starship. It took the ugly creatures a moment to notice him, but when they did, their phasers were out and blasting. With practiced annoyance, Devon ducked and dove under one of the control panels. He pressed his finger tips to the structure, making the panel extend in front of him like a shield. Their phasers reflected off the metal, allowing him time to screw with their controls. Once again, he pressed his hands to the shell of the panel, feeling the technological workings within. Closing his eyes, he imagined the wires snapping, twining, smoking, shorting out. A few seconds later, the control panel was demolished from the inside, smoke rising through the buttons and controls on the surface. However, he knew the Klingons were still behind his shield, and he had no weapons. Thanking the lord that he was immune to electrocution, Devon opened the control panel and thrusted his arms inside the malfunctioning wires and circuits; after a few seconds, he pulled them out, arms and fingers now snaking with the little multi-colored wires and shooting little ominous sparks. He smirked. This should work.

After arming himself, Devon kicked against his shield, sending it shooting out, making sure to knock out a few Klingons in its path. Then the phasers started shooting again. Devon dodged them barely, and, using his newly acquired wire weapons, used the shorted-out wire power to send bolts of electricity at them. His enemies fell over, curled up, jerking with the electric currents coursing through them. Perfect. With the same confident smirk, he dashed out of the Bridge and down a corridor, quickly seeking out the engine room. Once done, the engineers in the engine room opened fire. However, there were more available wires here. Calmly, he opened his hands, palm-up, and watched as thick wires and control boards from the ceiling shot down like stalactite before twining around their wrists. Amusedly, he lifted his hands, watching as the alarmed Klingons were hoisted in the air by their wrists. Once they were high enough to be out of his way, he clenched his hands into fists; the wires obeyed, and started electrocuting them. Letting the screams be his working music, Devon whistled, placing his palms on the engine room override panel. Shortly, after he screwed with the workings of it, set itself to self-destruct. And he haaaad... 15 seconds left. Perfect.

However, all his power usage was starting to take a negative toll on him. He started feeling dizzy, all his glucose starting to burn up. Weakly, he fell to his knees and waited. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3..2..1... As the ship self-destructed, Devon was beamed back aboard. A moment later, the simulation ended. His trainer looked pleased, but Devon's vision was foggy, so he might have imagined it. "Finally! All right, you can have your break now. Don't die. Here." A little paper cup of Gatorade was pressed into his palm. He gulped it gratefully, waiting for the electrolytes and sugar to kick in. "That oughta hold ya till you can get some food in ya. Good job, Primus." As the trainer turned his back and walked away, Devon flipped him off. After lying for a few minutes, the redhead felt his energy regenerate somewhat. At least enough to walk to his bag in the corner. Digging through it impatiently, he recovered a cereal bar, which he shoved into his gullet all in one. He didn't even chew it thoroughly, swallowing the lump of granola and chocolate chips. Ahh, that was better, but he still needed more. Well, the cafeteria wasn't that far away.

Standing and slinging his bag over his shoulder, Devon opened the nearest exit door, which happened to exit into the pool area. Ugh. Pool. Chlorine smell. Being a technopath, he had a natural aversion to water just as the electronics he had an affinity with did. But those people. They hadn't been there before. He arched a ginger eyebrow at them before walking around the perimeter of the pool. He must look a right mess, he assumed: mussed red hair, sweat beading and cascading down his temples and staining his shirt, paler than normal due to the lack of proper blood sugar levels, and walking somewhat sluggishly. However, he took a moment to admire the attractive girls and handsomely toned boys before continuing on his quest to find sustenance. Maybe he'd screw with them later.

The red. Well, it filters through.

(( Drake and Raerain, y'all two may have the best post so far in the roleplay. But replying to eathier of y'all or reading y'alls post wear me out. Keep up with the good long post. It makes me go =D ]]

Mitsukai Swam to the bottum of the pool and stared counting to ten. She then swam to the top with her eyes closed. With her eyes still closed she walked around trying to reach her fleading friends. "Marco." She called out every few seconds and followed the countinus polos. She wondered if Thorne got in and started playing, she hadnt heard him say a polo. Mitsukai desided to go after Joesph. He deserved it. She tried to jump after Joesph, hearing his polo, but missed. Great, time to try again. She was having a hard time touching someone.

Joseph moved to the side of the pool as Mitsukai counted, advoiding her attempts to attack him. He had to restrain himself from laughing as she moved across the pool. BUt with one laugh and a polo, she jumped up at him. He made a small wave with his power to move her out of the way, she failed touching anyone. Joesph swam to the deeper end of the pool, since Mitsukai was at the shallow end.

"Hey Daina" Kyuubi told the girl as Mitsukai counted. When Mitsukai had come up he kept replying to her continuous polos with continuous marco's. He was having a good time watching Mitsukai chase after Joseph. He stayed in one spot standing even though he was in the deep end. He had made a platform that enabled him to stand. He kept himself from laughing in case Mitsukai had a change in her mind that would make her attack him instead of Joseph.

Marco Polo was the name of the game. Nikky would call out "Polo" Then dive underwater and swim away from Mitsukai. She resurfaced, a bit closer than she hoped. "Gah! Polo!" She said, trying to get away from Mitsukai as fast as possible, but the remains of Joseph's waves weren't very helpful. The chlorine water in her eyes didn't help at all, trying to blink away the burn and flailing away wasn't a very good escape attempt.

Daina waved back at Kyubbi. She did the smart thing, Daina kept her head underwater at almost all times. The longer you were underwater, the less often you had to say polo. Simple fact. She would come up for air, and yell "Polo" then submerge once again, moving to another spot, keeping an eye on the others from under the surface. She laughed as Nikky flailed to get away from within Mitsukai's clutches.

When they shook hands, Thorne finally noticed she was wearing gloves. It was strange. People usually don’t wear gloves while swimming, but this was the Genius Academy and so, he had seen stranger. Taking a moment to study them, he observed that they didn’t look store-bought. They were durable, and obviously waterproof leading him to believe that they had something to do with her powers. He wasn’t one to pry though, and some people were so touchy about their abilities. She would tell him, if she felt like it. It’s not like he was actively telling her his powers so he expected the same treatment.


When she giggled at his warning, he resisted the urge to scowl. She should be taking him seriously, but he surmised most people wouldn’t especially in a casual setting such as this. So pretending that he had been joking all along, he couldn’t help but think grimly--well…she had been warned.


As Mitsukai introduced him to her friends, Thorne memorized the names to faces evaluating each one in turn trying to decide if they were threats--though that couldn’t be thoroughly determined until he knew their powers. He raised a hand in greeting inclining his head slightly to show that he had heard their hellos.

When Mitsukai proposed the game, Thorne internally rolled his eyes, but he was saved from answering when Joseph spoke to him. “Yea, maybe.” He responded not one for words. Only to be interrupted by a tentative voice from the side. “Daina?” a slight incredulous quality evident in his tone, “It’s been awhile.”

Daina, however, preceded to jump in the pool and yell ‘not it’ making Thorne wince. Are all girls this energetic? Sighing, Thorne slowly slid in the pool only making soft ripples in the water in contrast to the massive splash that he could have done.

Thorne joined the game reluctantly barely moving from his spot and calling low polo’s back at Mitsukai. It’s not like his mood could get worse. A door opening made him notice a passerby who looked awful, but it was nice to know he wasn’t the only miserable one at the moment.

Thorne cracked a smile at Nikky’s antics as he started to finally and slowly relax. The light atmosphere and water working its de-stressing magic as it always did for him. Looking at the others he noticed that Kyuubi seemed to be standing in the deep end. Taking a breath and dunking under water to investigate, he looked at the ice that made a handy perch in the water. So, that was part of his powers…interesting. He reemerged finding himself unsafely close to Misukai….uh oh.

Thorne’s competitive streak starting to show, he slowly backed away trying to make as little noise as possible not wanting to be caught. As a ‘Marco’ came from Mitsukai’s mouth, Thorne knew that he was dead meat standing there. So saying a quick, “Polo,” Thorne made a last-chance dash as he dived into the water and tried zooming away underwater.

Mitsukai heard Thorne and went after him. As she rushed underwater her gloves suddenly came off. Though she hadnt noticed, nor did anyone else. She finally taged Thorne, but when she did a rush of everything surged into her body. She scremed in pain. Then fell limp into the deeper end of the water. Once she regained conciosness, which wasnt long, she looked back at the worried faces. "Where are my gloves." She said softly and began swimming slowly, advoidinf touch with anyone else untill she found them. Once she found them she swam to the bottum and picked em' up and walked out of the pool. "It's Thornes turn." She said softly and walked to the bathroom. "Y'all keep playing, i'll be right back." She said on her way there.

Once she got to the bathroom she instantly started crying. In her mind she saw every fight he had with his mother. Every thought he ever thought. Every memory. Well the most important ones. She fell to her knees and relized she got everything. His strength, memories, thoughts, and powers. Simply because she wasnt aware that her gloves were off. She wasnt in controll. She punched the wall angrely, only to find her hand explode and come back together. Then she scremed. Her scream was loud and peircing. How else would someone react to see their hand explode. She then pictured Thorne making himself explode a multitude of times. It was horrifing. Finally she got ahold of herself. She'd only have his powers for a week at the most, a hour at the least. She could handle that. She looked back at her hand and saw it back together, no sign of explosion accured.

Mitsukai washed her face with cold water to erase her tears. She then walked out. When she walked out of the back to the pool she gave everyone a slight smile. "Start playing y'all!" She demanded and forced herself to laugh. She sat down on a chair and put her gloves back on tightly, where her hand was slightly purple. She closed her eyes and leaned down, resting her head on her knees. 'It's okay. It's okay.' She thought, now relizing she knew everything about Thorne, and he knew nothing about her. Though why would he want to, that scene that just happend was beyond weird.

Joseph looked worriedly at Thorne. Knowing he wouldent understand. When Mitsukai B lined to the restroom, he explained. "When she touches you without her gloves she absourbes your powers, physical strength, thoughts, and memories. She can controll it now, but if shes unaware of her gloves being off she cannot controll it and she gets everything. Basicly now she knows everything about you and it's hard for her to absorbe. She probelly got the worst memory first, reason her reaction was bad. She'll be okay in a few, lets play." Joesph said softly. He knew she'd be okay. He looked at L and Nikky, to see if they seemed worried, they hadnt.

His existence was mostly unnoticed, Devon noticed. That was probably for the best for now. Finally he was away from the chlorine-smelling pool and the loud Marco Polo players, and was now on a quest for the cafeteria. After training was his free time for awhile, so he had plenty of time to eat. Luckily, the layout of the school was logical, so it hadn't taken him long to figure it out. On his way there, he thought of all the faces he had seen at that pool. He remembered them distinctly, and decided to do a little project. After food time, of course, which was now as he arrived in the nearly empty cafeteria. Hm. He should probably have something healthy, but he didn't exactly care; he'd end up burning it all up anyway with this project. ...Better get some spare food, then. With this thought in mind, Devon purchased a self-serve pizza and a chicken sandwich with fries on the side. Mmm, heart attack. His favorite flavor. Once done, he took a seat at an empty table and set his bag on it, rummaging through it before producing a laptop. He turned it on and waited for it to get a signal, chewing a piece of pizza as he waited. Oh, that was heaven...

Hm. He should sign in as a student, but in order to achieve his goal, he'd need to sign in as administrator. It didn't take long to crack the code, overriding the password function with a little reformatting. By then three slices of tasty pizza were down his throat, and he was feeling much more energized. Now, where were those student records... damnit! Those were password locked, too! No matter. Amber eyes widened slightly, darting back and forth across the screen as he used his power to override the coding, allowing him access. Ah ha! Perfect. Now, who were those people at the pool, he pondered as another slice went into his mouth. Pizza was now half-eaten. Hmm... their faces... he remembered that at least. Once again, he braced himself, hands cupping the laptop panel lovingly, using his powers to scroll through the portraits of the students. No, no, no, no, no, no, yes! That was one of them! He opened the girl's file and started educating himself. Mitsukai Kanji. Age: sixteen. Power: absorption. Huh. That was kind of vague. Moving on! Scrolling through a few more pages of profiles, he found one of the boy's faces. 'He's redheaded like me!' he thought with fondness, a bit biased. Kyuubi Katsukai. Power: elemental control. Wow, what was with all these weird names? Wasn't there ever a John or a Carol? No, but there was a Daina. Power: regeneration. That sounded cool.

After about fifteen minutes, Devon had found all those who were at the pool and had also finished his pizza and most of the chicken sandwich. Huh. maybe he should have gotten a drink. Whatever. Feeling powered up enough, Devon put the half-eaten sandwich in its little box container and poured the remainder of his fries over it before closing it, storing it in his bag before replacing his laptop there as well. Hm... he wondered if those people were still at the pool... and if they were still playing Marco Polo... A wicked smirk twisted his lips as he ran back towards the pool house. Yep, still playing Marco Polo, the 'it' person blindly reaching their arms about to tag people. "Marco!" he heard, and took his cell phone out of his pocket. Hmm. The intercom system ran through the entire school, with speakers in each room. Ensconced in an alcove, Devon slapped his hand against the wall, feeling the vibrations inside. He closed eyes, concentrating on... yes... the system was familiar, and ended... there! Keeping his mind focused on the voice box of the intercom system, Devon mentally added and manipulated some of the functions. Once done, he pressed 'CALL' on his phone, satisfied to hear it connect at the other end. Just to mess with them, when he heard 'Marco' again, he said, "Polo!" into his phone, grinning satisfactorily as the sound echoed through the speaker of the pool house. 'Ohhh, this is gonna be good.'

Mitsukai heard the speaker declair polo, and laughed. But it made her head hurt more. She needed this horrid migrane gone. She grabbed a towel and walked out of the pool house. "Be right back." She yelled at her friends when she ran into Devon. "Hey, being a fish outta water is cheating." She said noticing that he had a cell. "I'll be hush hush. Have fun with your joke." Mitsukai said and winked at him. She then headed to her dorm. She needed a fix for her migrane. Once she got to her room she swallowed two ibprofines and laid down for a bit.

Mitsukai closed her eyes and looked over Thornes memories. Trying to understand. She was now absourbed in his thoughts, in his being. His power was strange, useless in battle, not a power that would make you become a 8th genius legand. So a threat, never. His enjoyment in exploding himself seemed wrong. Like someone cutting themselves, stabbing themselves, or buring themselfs to relive stress. But unlike them, he tecninly never actully harmed himself. So it was alright. Though it was gross. It could be used as a good distraction. A good gross out. Like those teenage girls. Mitsukai couldent help but to laugh at that. It's sad that that happened, poor girls. They were obviously scared for life.

Finally once Mitsukai was at peace with knowing these things, and her headach now gone, she walked to the cafeteria. Once she got to the cafeteria she bought a bottal of smart water and walked to the pool. She smiled weakly at the rest and laid down on a chair. She'd join in the games in a little while, now she wanted to relax.

[Occ: This is an incredibly long post, and people ended up posting before me because it took so long to write so this took place after once mitsuki came back to the pool after going tothe cafe or w/e K smile Sry but I don't want to ruin the work put into it by changing it. Also this post will show some of the memories of thorne.]

Thorne zoomed through the water trying to swim away from her, but he knew it wasn’t going to work. He could sense her just behind him stretching out her hand closing the little distance left until her bare hand tagged him. What? Wasn’t she wearing gloves? Mitsukai’s scream ripped through his thoughts. It was a scream that he knew, but had never experienced, one of pain.

His eyes slowly widened in shock as she fell back limp her hair floating round her head like a halo. For a split second, he thought she was dead. He was frozen, the thought circling his head—he had killed her through touch. Was he even more dangerous than he originally thought? But no, she was opening her eyes, moving out the pool, acting like this was normal, and escaping from them. What was going on? That was the question he wanted to ask, but he was too frozen to speak, to move, but his thoughts moved enough for everyone in the room.

Thorne was startled, reminded of the present as Joseph spoke to him, even though the words were soft. He explained to Thorne her power, and that she would be fine, but the only thing Thorne could comprehend was that she had seen everything.

Everything…everything….everything. The word mocked him circling in his head. Parading his memories. Booming out his disgrace in the drums of the funeral march. Laughing at him, sneering at him, jeering at his past and present. Ridiculing him. How could he ever be normal—they screamed at him.

He was shaking, vibrating creating huge ripples that fled away from him and his power, ran screaming. He shook his head trying to clear the thoughts. Settle down!--he screamed in his mind, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t and he was going to explode possibly killing the others around him…not again.

No! He wouldn’t, not this time. He was in control….he was in control….he was losing control. He had to get away from them. He was shaking violently now with the effort of suppressing the power. He could feel it emerging rearing its big, ugly head and taking over. With immense effort, he hoisted himself from the pool, and stumbled away trying to put distance between them and him. He didn’t get far…

Twenty-five feet from where he emerged, Thorne fell to his knees grabbing his head. He was weak. He was failing and he was going down. If this explosion was too much, everything he had worked for would be gone taken away from him. He could hear her now, his mother, and a guttural growl escaped his body. He could see her standing there laughing at him with her hands set upon her hips, her lips red from lipstick curled into that stupid smirk.

‘Look at what you’re doing Thorne. You’re weak just like how I always knew you were.’ “No!” Thorne yelled at his mother. He couldn’t lose control! But, he was going under too fast and there was no way for him to manage it. Small explosions were erupting all over his body, regenerating just in time to be detonated again. But, he was no longer there to experience it…

Thorne was two, and he had just presented his mother with a picture he had made for her. Glancing at it in distaste, she ripped it in half and let it float to the ground…

He was eight, and hungry. “Mom,” he called into her bedroom, the door was closed. It opened, after some whispering that could be heard from within, but instead of his mother a man opened the door. He leaned close in front of Thorne’s face and he could smell the alcohol on his breath. “Beat it kid, I have unfinished business with your mother,” at the statement a giggle was heard from the room before the door was shut in his face...

He was ten, and he had run away from home. He was cold, he was hungry, and he was lost. No police came for him, and neither did his mother. Arriving home a week later, his mother hadn’t even known he was gone…

He was twelve and had started fighting back. A slap whipped his face back as his mother leaned in close, “Don’t you ever insult me. Because we both know that you are nothing, and will only ever be my thorn.”…

He was fourteen, and lying in a pool of his own blood as his mother’s boyfriend left whistling…

He was fifteen, and his fist had just exploded into bits. “So you are a freak,” his mother whispered…


The explosions were becoming louder and faster erupting all over his body, he was going to…

He was sixteen, and in his living room with his mother. “She’ll never love you,” she sneered, “You’re just a thorn in her side just like how you are with me.” “You don’t know what your talking about,” he yelled exploding his hand for good measure only for a scream to make his head snap to a girl standing in the doorway. “Lorrie.” But, she was already gone running away from him as his mother laughed…

He was seventeen, and he was losing control. His mother was laughing at him. He ran outside trying to calm down only to explode on the sidewalk tearing up the gravel, and grass, scorch marks lining everything in a twenty foot radius. In the aftermath, two kids were burned beyond repair and dead…


“No!” he screamed as energy was rolling off him building up like a balloon about to pop. He was slipping, losing, he couldn’t hold on anymore. He detonated…

The force was massive, blood spattered in every direction covering tiles, chairs, skin, and ceiling. An artificial wind swept through the area from the blast creating waves in the pool. Scorch marks lined the tiles, and walls. Chunks of the floor had come loose from where he was kneeling as he slowly regenerated cleaning up the blood as easily as if erasing the past moments. But, they would never disappear. Evidence still lined the walls in the form of scorch marks, and tiles from the floor were loose, and the moment would surely never be erased from the minds of those who had witnessed it.

Thorne shakily stood up, his back towards the pool not wanting to turn around. He looked at his hands where his blood should have been, but was not because as his mother had always told him—he was a freak.

He shouldn’t stay, and act like nothing had happened. Because what had just happened, had definitely been something. Walking away quickly, he left the pool house back to his dorm room, and lay on his bed until the sweet relief of sleep overtook him.

Mitsukai watched as Thorne started blowing up. Okay, she was wrong. He was dangrous. She probelly missed a memory that told her that. Her thoughts were wrong. But she was dangrous. Joesph was dangrous. L was dangrous. As was Kyuubi, Minron, Nikky, and every other person here. The bood that exploded everywhere disappered. Though everyone stopped playing. "'l'll go find him, it's my fault." Mitsukai said softly, kinda feeling bad. But oh well. No one would think he was weird. Things like this happened here. It was normal. People were expected to move on afterwords. Who knows how many times this school had exploded, been set on fire, or flooded. The school fixed it and helped the kids get help. It was nothing. Thew only kids it influenced were the ones who saw it. But they were supposed to move on and let go.

Mitsukai grabbed her towel and started looking for Thorne. She knew no one would take it hard, and she knew Thorne would. She'd have to explain to him they were all freaks. They were unnatural. But here was where he fit in. No one would take it bad. He would be ok. She just hada find him. So she looked through his memories. She started at him being at the school, to find his dorm number. His code to the lock. Once she figured that out she walked to his room, unlocked the door, and walked in.

"Thorne, it's ok." She said softly. She still had all his powers and thought, would for the next 30 minutes at least, the next three weeks at most. She sat down on the edge of his bed and looked at him. He looked majorly upset. Mitsukai would to if someone invaded her thoughts. She would have to stop trying to understand him through his memories. She finally thought about him killing with his power. It was accedental. He was here to get better. It was a long time ago. She wanted him to understand she didnt care about his power. She wanted him to understand no one else would care. He's been going here. He should know it was the norm'.

Joseph was suprised by the explosions. He hadnt expected it. He didnt like it. "Eh, i think i'm done swimming for today." Honestly, he was going to be sick. He understood people were more sensitive to power breakouts when they were upset, so he could be near thorne, when he wasnt upset. Joesph walked to his dorm, and saw Devon on his way. He waved to him. Once Nathen was in his dorm he laid down. He knew Mitsukai could calm him down. He wasnt worried about that at the least. He just hoped that Thorne would be okay. Obviously there had to be something bad Pheebe got. Something that would cause Thorne to react bad. Something that made him feel horrid. But it was Mitsukai's buisness. Not his. Mitsukai could handle this, Joseph surly couldnt.

Joseph put his headphones to his ipod in and listined to music. He was listining to dont sigh daisy. He loved that band. He closed his eyes and made the tempature of the room chilly, so he'd feel better. He closed his eyes and relaxed. As always, a normal day at the school was always the furthest thing to normal.

Thorne lay on his bed trying to calmly clear his mind, though it was difficult because random memories would suddenly return when he started to fall asleep. Thorne heard his lock click, but kept his eyes closed. There was only one person who knew that combination besides himself and he didn’t really care enough to stop her.

A shift of weight on his bed, alerted Thorne of her immediate presence. Her assurance made his eyes fly open, but he quickly arranged his face to a calm mask. Sitting up and running a hand over his face, Thorne regarded her wearily. He came to the conclusion that she felt bad, the thought made him snort and roll his eyes at her. After his little demonstration back there, he had thought she would have run the other way.

“How much did you see?” his voice was low, but Thorne’s face gave nothing away.

Bursting a finger, he sighed in relief as endorphins were released. Turning back to her face, “Does this bother you?” he asked exploding his finger again for good measure.

Mitsukai looked at him and sighed. "Basicly everything that happened before i touched you." She said honestly. She didnt like his thoughts, but she knew them. She was stuck with them. But since they werent her memories, she'd end up forgetting the majority. When he exploded his finger, she felt sick. "It bothers me just the same as my power bothered you." She said softly. Powers wernt gods precious gifts, they were god's curse.

"Dont worry about how everyone reacted about you exploding afterwords. It's okay, at this school anything can happen." She said softly and looked down. She felt so bad for going into his privicy, even if it was an accident. Some of his memories were horrid, and she knew them. "And you're not a freak." She said and looked him in his eyes. She had to tell him that. It was the most important detail he hada know.

When Matsukai admitted to knowing everything, Thorne winced. He had still had just a sliver of hope that she only got part of his memories, but her words condemned him to the truth of the matter. What a bummer.

It was strange for him to have someone sitting next to him that knew him almost just as well as he did himself. So to for her to tell him that no, he wasn’t a freak, a reoccurring theme in his memories, was a slight relief, but he also knew that he was still a freak. Maybe not to her or to the others at the school, but to everyone else he was definitely a freak.

So, he laughed slightly rubbing the back of his neck in an embarrassed gesture. Smiling at her, “Uh…thanks, I guess. You saw that too, huh?” Shaking his head at her still smiling trying to lighten the atmosphere, “That power of yours definitely is something, not as cool as mine, but…you know, it comes pretty close.”

“I feel kinda bad though not everyone has a strong stomach and back there must’ve been quite a show.” Shifting uncomfortably, Thorne remembered he was still in his wet swim trunks, “Uh…I think I’m going to change so…” Thorne gestured to the door, “Unless you’d like to stay,” he said grinning while raising his eyebrows. “If not, maybe I’ll catch you later at dinner?”
